In the battle arena clip posted few days ago the guy says "There is 20 new IPs I think." Those are the key words. He propably forgot the exact number. I would go with a number mentioned in official press realese and other interviews.

And to be honest I doubt that Disney will let any toys to life game use their IPs for at least few years.

LEGO Batman Movie Story Pack confirmed!

Exactly. They may eventually give out licenses, but there will certainly not be any Star Wars/Marvel stuff in year 2 of Lego dimensions.

Also, sorry if I am wrong but isn't Local Knowledge the guy who made up stuff back in Jamuary? Maybe it's someone else, but he was asking how people got sources and then surprisingly had a "source" the very next day. Makes me doubtful.

Okay, here we go- so on stream, they said there will be over 20 BATTLE ARENAS.

That means at the very least 5 of the original themes from Phase 1 will get a new Pack with an orange base to unlock a battle arena. We already know that DC will get a battle arena for Supergirl/Green Arrow.

Well there you go. The guessing is up to you guys.

Wow, that was a disappointing stream. 4.0 bad, I'd say. Most of it was the guy playing just moving about where the portals are than any actual gameplay.

If there's no more content for every original IP then LEGO can expect to lose a lot of players from their game. Yes, they'll gain new ones but I don't see why they would want to **** off their already established Dimensions fanbase. Just DC getting new packs isn't enough.

I don't expect anything this year but next year there needs to be something. Strax would be better than nothing and if we get nothing in 2017 then I am hugely disappointed in LEGO and their treatment of those of us who have been playing the game since the first year of LEGO Dimensions.

Exactly. I believe CM4Sci but equally I think there may be some truth in yourself. As I said, I don't want to fall out with anyone. I just don't think CM should totally dismiss you when he's not completely certain himself ('almost certain' shows he isn't 100% about it).

I understand that and I understand why they would introduce new franchises. They need to to freshen up the game and add more content. At the same time though they still need to create content for the old franchises. I hope that's what the Connectables are as it would be the best way to do that without distracting from the new franchises.
