Ashnflash Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Weird... Ya just rewatched that... So one person is saying 16 IP's and the other is saying 20 IP's. That doesn't confirm anything it just means that there is a contradiction.. Quote

That doesn't confirm anything it just means that there is a contradiction.. In the battle arena clip posted few days ago the guy says "There is 20 new IPs I think." Those are the key words. He propably forgot the exact number. I would go with a number mentioned in official press realese and other interviews. Edited June 15, 2016 by Krulis Quote

Krulis Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 (edited) Perhaps he was referring to the IP's they acquired with Disney Nah. Higly impropable. And to be honest I doubt that Disney will let any toys to life game use their IPs for at least few years. Edited June 15, 2016 by Krulis Quote
Dizstractzhun Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Jason from http://brick-inquirer.com/ vlogged the following video and it has a few interesting details in it. He also shows his Green Arrow figure pack. https://www.periscope.tv/w/1YpKkpROawZGj Also don't forget that IGN will have a stream about Lego Dimensions in about 30 mins. http://uk.ign.com/events/e3 Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Exactly. They may eventually give out licenses, but there will certainly not be any Star Wars/Marvel stuff in year 2 of Lego dimensions. Also, sorry if I am wrong but isn't Local Knowledge the guy who made up stuff back in Jamuary? Maybe it's someone else, but he was asking how people got sources and then surprisingly had a "source" the very next day. Makes me doubtful. That's him, also makes me doubtful. Quote
FrankyCentaur Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Okay, here we go- so on stream, they said there will be over 20 BATTLE ARENAS. That means at the very least 5 of the original themes from Phase 1 will get a new Pack with an orange base to unlock a battle arena. We already know that DC will get a battle arena for Supergirl/Green Arrow. Well there you go. The guessing is up to you guys. Quote

Ashnflash Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 (edited) Also where is the Mission Impossible Level Gameplay from? It was clipped together in one of the interviews.. And I was only joking about the Disney. There's no way that they've already attained the rights Edited June 15, 2016 by Ashnflash Quote
CM4Sci Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 WHEN YOU GET THE GOONIES YOU UNLOCK THEM ALL YES! So much for other Goonie packs, though. Oh well, this is awesome! Quote

After Nekchir (at which point I was just a guest) I feel that sources are trolls until proven otherwise. Quote
CM4Sci Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 In this video we see LEGO versions of Ice King, Marceline, Princess Bubblegum, and more. They made the opening in LEGO, it's so cool! Quote
Jbricks Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Jokerland Beast Boy is about $7 on brick link, less than the price of a fun pack (and better version) Quote
Mr Greeble Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Lego just tweeted "You'll have lots of chances to get your hands on the Lego Green Arrow minifigure this year. Watch our pages!"... Quote
Local Knowledge Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 No offence (I don't wish to fall out with anybody here) but you said 'almost certain', so there is a hint of a possibility that both you and Local Knowledge are right. There is a chance that we both are right. I know I've asked where people got THEIR sources from, but nobody is really open. I have a source. Quote
legonerd54321 Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Oh my god, when you feed Gizmo the scooby snack, he turns into a grimlin! YES! Quote
Local Knowledge Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 That's him, also makes me doubtful. I can't say if I'm wright. But what did I made up? Quote
LEGODalekbuster523 Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Also don't forget that IGN will have a stream about Lego Dimensions in about 30 mins. http://uk.ign.com/events/e3 Wow, that was a disappointing stream. 4.0 bad, I'd say. Most of it was the guy playing just moving about where the portals are than any actual gameplay. If there's no more content for every original IP then LEGO can expect to lose a lot of players from their game. Yes, they'll gain new ones but I don't see why they would want to **** off their already established Dimensions fanbase. Just DC getting new packs isn't enough. I don't expect anything this year but next year there needs to be something. Strax would be better than nothing and if we get nothing in 2017 then I am hugely disappointed in LEGO and their treatment of those of us who have been playing the game since the first year of LEGO Dimensions. 8BrickMario Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Argggh, this year is going to be so exciting, and we haven't seen it all yet! And Vorton's looking pretty crowded now! Quote

I don't want to get into this again, and I do concede that you have a point. But this isn't quite as big of an issue as you make it out to be. I can't say I understand the rush to get new franchises involved, but they probably want to have as much as they can before they introduce new things. At this point, LEGO's more interested in attracting as many players as possible by including every non-Disney franchise possible. Not long afterward, I expect further development on older content. I understand that and I understand why they would introduce new franchises. They need to to freshen up the game and add more content. At the same time though they still need to create content for the old franchises. I hope that's what the Connectables are as it would be the best way to do that without distracting from the new franchises. Quote
