LEGODalekbuster523 Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Wait, a new Knight Rider movie is due in 2017? I didn't know this... Don't tell me this hub world/characters are actually built on THAT and not the old show though? There's nothing to base this on other than the TV show - the film hasn't even been filmed yet. Quote
The Lego Nolan Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Well, also LEGO Worlds (which is still in early access) and various mobile games like the LEGO Nexo Knights Merlok 2.0 app. Other than those, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and LEGO Dimensions, I don't think Tt Games has announced anything else. There is currently another game in production although they haven't announced anything yet. Quote
Starscream759 Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 There is currently another game in production although they haven't announced anything yet. Ooh but what is the game I wonder? Quote
gamejutzu Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Ooh but what is the game I wonder? I can only hope it's a Ninjago game for consoles... It can't be Nexo Knights, as it would probably get handhelds like Chima and Ninjago did. As for licensed franchises, I can't think of anything, as they're all in Dimensions. That makes me think of the original franchises, and i'm only left with Friends/Elves (which would probably also get handhelds), and another City game? I'm at a loss at guessing what it could be. Rookie875 Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 There is currently another game in production although they haven't announced anything yet. Getting off topic but I seriously hope its another DC game. I would love some CW content on it. Anyways do we know if Year 1 characters will have any interactions with Year 2 characters (ex. Gandalf saying something about magic to Harry)? Quote
Sir Gareth Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 (edited) Anyways, do we know if Year 1 characters will have any interactions with Year 2 characters (ex. Gandalf saying something to Harry?) Didn't you just answer your own question? Edited June 27, 2016 by Sir Gareth Quote
gamejutzu Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 (edited) Didn't you just answer your own question? um no I don't think so. They just gave an example. Getting off topic but I seriously hope its another DC game. I would love some CW content on it. Anyways do we know if Year 1 characters will have any interactions with Year 2 characters (ex. Gandalf saying something about magic to Harry)? Alright, topic is off. ... But wassn't there already CW content in Lego Batman 3? Unless you want Flash, Titans, etc. ? There are so many opportunities for interactions that it would be a serious shame if they didn't. I have a feeling that there will be Edited June 27, 2016 by gamejutzu Quote

Don't tell me this hub world/characters are actually built on THAT and not the old show though? Well after seeing the trailer for the new one its still the Trans-am and the Hoff is in it in some capacity (mentor i think) but given most of the 80's licences they have stayed with the originals. LEGODalekbuster523 Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Ooh but what is the game I wonder? Please let it be LEGO Doctor Who: The Videogame... Quote
Darth Wayne Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 There's nothing to base this on other than the TV show - the film hasn't even been filmed yet. That's good news as a huge fan of the original show :) Quote
Starscream759 Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Well crap...it was a long shot but at least we gave that idea some thought though. Quote
legonerd54321 Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 So, no classic GB, BttF, LEGO Movie, Doctor Who, Midway Arcade, etc. battle arenas? Well crap. Quote
gamejutzu Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 So, no classic GB, BttF, LEGO Movie, Doctor Who, Midway Arcade, etc. battle arenas? Well crap. To be fair, a lot of those franchises didn't feel right for battle packs... Wait... RIP Ninjago battle arena Quote
Starscream759 Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 So what now? That's the question that's on our lips regarding the battle arenas. Quote
PenPlays Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 No battle arenas for year 1 franchises. https://twitter.com/...315036494794752 Odds are that this applies to franchises that aren't getting content in Year 2. For instance, should they decide that Wizard of Oz needs more packs, those with orange bases would unlock a battle arena (so only Wicked Witch wouldn't work). As another example, say they don't continue with BttF out of the Year 1 packs. So now battle arena. I mean they did say that they weren't done with some Year 1 IPs. Quote
Ashnflash Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Am I the only one that absolutely hates and despises those annoying timed races!!! Especially air ones... And I think the music is annoying too... Quote
sgeureka Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 I mean they did say that they weren't done with some Year 1 IPs. Source? (Apart from the obvious E3 "exclusives" of the DC Comics franchise.) Quote
PenPlays Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Source? (Apart from the obvious E3 "exclusives" of the DC Comics franchise.) Well, first off, there's this. 21 arenas will come to the game in all That's the 16 new IP's and...? Also here's a post from LEGODalekbuster523: By the way, I asked a couple of my Twitter friends who are developers on the game about past franchises returning and one of them replied: Perhaps they could provide a source to said conversation? Quote
sgeureka Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 ^^ I read the linked article twice, and it doesn't mention new packs for year 1 franchises (did I miss something?) The 21 battle arenas could be exclusively for the 16 new franchises (plus DC Comics because of Green Arrow), just that some franchises get several battle arenas instead of only one. LEGODalekbuster523's quote ("we can't give away all our secrets :)", post #4446 in this thread) proves exactly nothing, and we can read it any way we want. So, unfortunately, we still know nothing about the future of year 1 franchises. Quote
FrankyCentaur Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Yeah, all we can do is kind of hope. Wasn't every pack for Year 1 shown very soon after E3 2015? Like within a month or two, long before the game came out? If it repeats, we'll know soonish. Quote
CM4Sci Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Don't think we're getting anymore Wave 1 packs soon. Quote
