BatmanFanboy Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 There were only 2 Packs confirmed for Fantastic Beasts, we know we won't get the other Ghostbusters from Ghostbusters 2016 but they are still playable in game via the Story Pack. i hope we don't get another ghostbusters 2016 pack to be honest. something like Fantastic Beasts or Harry Potter should get a third pack Quote
LEGODalekbuster523 Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Here is where it was confirmed Queenie and Jacob were playable in the Fantastic Beasts Story Pack for LEGO Dimensions. http://lego-dimensio...ki/Thread:17120 So Elliott's bike does appear in the ET content. Still say it should have been buildable instead of the phone though. Quote
Krulis Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 I just got an idea. Can someone who has twitter account ask Arthur Parsons about Jacob an Queenie (whether if they are separate characters or if Newt can change into them Ghistbusters style)? He confirmed that they are in game in Q&A so maybe he will answer the question (in worst case scenario he will say that he can't answer the question yet). Quote
TheLunabrick Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 I still hope maybe one day Lego Dimensions add some classic characters from Lego like Johnny Thunder or maybe Pepper Roni. Quote
TheLEGOChap Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 I was playing LEGO Marvel Superheroes today, has anyone else noticed that the theme song for the Vorton hub is the same as the track that plays during the Asgard level 'Bi-frosty reception'? Quote
Starscream759 Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 (edited) I was playing LEGO Marvel Superheroes today, has anyone else noticed that the theme song for the Vorton hub is the same as the track that plays during the Asgard level 'Bi-frosty reception'? Yeah it's very noticeable especially when your going through the vortex. I reckon they pitched that track down to make it sound different or they used samples of that track and the Vorton Hub music was entirely recorded on it's own. legobagel Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Anyone notice how LEGO Marvel's Avngers has a quote in the Helicarrier where someone says something about how they lost an agent during something involving alternate dimensions, broken rules, and an unnamed God of the thunder? Quote

It's just a reference to Cronshaw. Quote
legobagel Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 It's just a reference to Cronshaw. What's Cronshaw? And how is that NOT a dimensions reference? LEGO Dimensions, Break the Rules Jay is the Lightning ninja. Quote

I think Cronshaw is supposed to be a joke that the announcer over the loud speakers says. Just a throwaway gag with non specified SHIELD agent really. It's got nothing to do with Lego Dimensions it's just something that happened with Thor. Quote

You can say it isn't Dimensions, but come on ALTERNATE DIMENSIONS? BROKEN RULES? I'm just gonna keep believing Marvel might be in Dimensions. Quote
TheLEGOChap Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 I just picked up the Portal level pack, my god the love and care that TT put into each of these franchises is just amazing, absolutely loved it. Quote

Lyichir Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Star Wars and Marvel will never come to Lego Dimensions. deal with it I definitely wouldn't consider it to be that impossible. The creators of Dimensions have expressed interest, and Disney Infinity is being outmoded much more quickly than even I'd expected (with the in-game store on consoles and the mobile versions in their entirety being shut down after this fall). I doubt we'll see any Disney franchises until season 3, but that's not to say it won't happen. That said, I'm highly skeptical that you'd find any sorts of "hints" in other games, especially not ones that came out earlier this year. Quote
Brickweiser Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 I just picked up the Portal level pack, my god the love and care that TT put into each of these franchises is just amazing, absolutely loved it. The portal level was easily my favourite. Loved the hidden testing chambers and silly tone was really well done. Apparently Valve did contribute creatively to the portal experience for dimensions. Brickweiser Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Did they now? Hmmm that's good to know. Yup. Unused scripts were provided and the idea that Cave Johnson downloaded himself into a core was canon from Valve's creative team. Quote

Unused scripts were provided and the idea that Cave Johnson downloaded himself into a core was canon from Valve's creative team. And most of those unused scripts came from the drafting stages of Portal 2 or they were things that were going to be in Portal 2 but the team never had any time to put them in the game otherwise so that's probably why they did that. And to there credit I must say it worked well from their point of view. Edited August 2, 2016 by Starscream759 Quote
BatmanFanboy Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Your opinion DOES NOT equate to fact. Deal with it. Stop acting like you're twelve years old. but think about it! it actually is kinda of true because Disney does not really want their properties crossing over with other properties. who cares if WB has made Star Wars or Marvel lego games in that past. BatmanFanboy Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 (edited) What properties could they be better off using than Star Wars? look its just i am sick of Star Wars and Marvel. we have seen them a thousand times. its time for something else. give something like Jaws or TMNT a chance. we have had star wars and marvel lego video games already and i don't think we need them in Dimensions. I am not trying to sound like a 12 year old but its just Star Wars and Marvel have already been in Toys to life games. i want properties that haven't been in Toys to life games. Some people might say the same thing about DC, considering we have three LEGO Batman games and lots of DC content in Dimensions with more stuff being added soon (TTG and TLBM), just to put that into perspective Personally, I like both Marvel and DC and would love to see a crossover between them in Dimensions Jaws is a good suggestion, it's an iconic franchise and a Universal property who now seem to be besties with TLG, just like WB and Disney. TMNT however is out of the question since Megabloks acquired that license after TLG had dropped it Edited August 2, 2016 by Lego-Freak Quote
