Wow the sonic world and the Harry Potter world look amazing. I wish that we would get more Harry Potter stuff or at least a ron fun pack but sadly I think the two packs are all we are going to get for Harry Potter in both 2016 and 2017

Xbox 360 finally went down and took all my Dimensions data with it...

...looks like it's time to upgrade to a One. And play the whole game over again... :look:

Wait - what do you mean went down? I haven't played it in a while and I'm on 360 - should I be worried? Thanks!

To be honest, that's what killed a lot of my momentum in the game: upgrading to XB1 after already completing a large percentage of the game on XB360. The thought of going back and redoing all those puzzles and races and stuff? Meh. I'm definitely looking forward to season 2 to reinvigorate my interest.

I'm pretty sure he's saying his personal 360 died. Unless I'm misreading him, you shouldn't have anything to worry about...except for your 360 dying.

Yeah, my personal console has been freezing up and moving slower recently. The other day it just wouldn't start. It's close to 8 years old now.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. :classic:

Finally watched the Gamescom Interview. The Sonic level looks quite amazing! That is a must buy for me currently on top of Harry Potter. Still debating Ghostbusters. I like the Portal and Ghostbusters year 1 was amazing(just played the Level Pack today) but I just have no interest in the new Ghostbusters Movie. I'm torn.

I was also hesitant about buying Adventure time but after seeing how Jake can turn into a table that the other characters can bounce on and become more interactive is such a great addition. I do want to know if that will be required to complete puzzles.

I was the same with Adventure Time but the adventure world looks very unique and colourful, and Jake does look like a very useful character indeed, having a character with the gyro sphere ability is especially handy.

Hey guys what do you think Superman is going to say to Sloth since Sloth has a Superman shirt on?

I think he could either say something along the lines of "you must be a fan" or "You must be a distant member of the house of el"

Those would be good but I wonder how Sloth is going to talk. since his actor has passed away.

Archive audio is my best bet, besides, new recordings wouldn't really work for the Goonies considering the actors are no longer kids.

well they could do what they did with The Wizard of Oz! all of the actors and actresses from that movie have passed away now. so they got new voice actors and actresses for The Wicked Witch, Dorothy, Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion and The Tinman. so they could do the same here.

Adventure Time world looks fantastic!

I just realized something about Dimensions. We're basically Jack Skellington going through the door to christmas land. There were all those doors leading to different dimensions in Nightmare Before Christmas...oh now i'm hoping with Disney involved we may get a Nightmare Before Christmas pack!

If they do expand to Disney franchises AND go beyond popular existing themes like Star Wars, Marvel, and Indiana Jones, I could see that being an excellent idea for a pack.

Arthur Parsons said Lego Dimensions was a 3 year plan in the gamescom interviews. I honestly don't think we will see anything Disney or owned by Disney in year 3. since Disney Infinity just ended a few months ago. And plus in that game Disney wouldn't allow you to take Darth Vader in the Marvel worlds or Spider-Man into the Pirates of the Caribbean world. I just don't see Disney wanting their properties to mix with other properties. And lastly since Arthur Parsons said Lego Dimensions is a 3 year plan then they already have probably signed contracts for the properties to come in year 3. But also one of the WB games guys said that they have already have a list of properties lined up for year 2 and year 3 to join lego dimensions which he said last year. I'm sorry I just don't see Marvel or Star Wars or anything Disney coming to dimensions. Edited by BatmanFanboy

He said they are planning to make 3 years. He did NOT say they planned out the packs. Think about that. All the sudden, a huge movie could pop up, and they have no room for it in Year 3. They haven't planned out the packs yet, only the fact that there is a year 3.

Plus, Disney would rack up a lot of money from Dimensions.

Ok I only have two things to say. One I am just saying what the guys at TT games said. They said they already have stuff lined up for the future years but they didn't lined up the pack which is true you're right on that! Secondly Disney would not and I will report not boost Lego Dimensions sales and it would not rack up a lot of money for Dimensions. Because then why was Disney Infinity canceled? if Disney Infinity can't make money with Star Wars and Marvel then what makes you think it will with Lego Dimensions? Star Wars and Marvel were consider the best things about Disney Infinity its what drew a lot of people to it! But then not even Star Wars and Marvel could save Disney Infinity. I would like to see both Star Wars and Marvel but they would take up too much space. Not only that but also they would most likely be rehashing characters like Darth Vader and Spider-Man from the Lego sets. The only reason I was ok with DC comics was because they hadn't been in a toys to life game until Lego Dimensions.

Because well, in my honest opinion, Infinity sucked. The characters couldn't really crossover and the graphics were terrible. There's more crossover potential as well: Batman and Spider-man, The Doctor vs Darth Vader, the Lego Movie and Toy Story and so much more. That's why Dimensions can win where Infinity couldn't with their witty dialogue, true to source characters and that is surely what matters

Well you are right. I would like to see Marvel and Star Wars but to be honest I would actually rather see something like Tom and Jerry or The Flintstones. simply because we would get more new minifigures in Lego. If they add Star Wars and Marvel we would just get rehashes from the Lego sets such as Darth Vader, Yoda, Spider-Man and Iron Man. I just would rather see something new that has never been in Lego before. I would like to see both Star Wars and Marvel but if we get rehashes of the same minifigures I honestly don't want to see them.

I don't watch Adventure Time but to anyone who does do you think LSP will have the rainbow bricks ability that Unikitty has? In one of the IGN gameplay videos she was spitting rainbows out of her mouth.

Any chance of LEGO Dimensions doing any classic Disney cartoon characters from the 80's-90's?

Maybe "DuckTales" with the new series coming out next year...

So you are saying brands like Adventure Time, Ninjago and others like DC don't take to much space already? If that was the case then why make like 7 packs for Ninjago that were not needed? Marvel and Star Wars would be nothing compared to Ninjago. Seeing my favorite heroes and villains from these two brands interacting with my other favorite heroes already in Dimensions would be a dream come true. Don't ruin it for others who want to see these properties in the game. I have nothing against you thinking they won't appear and i respect that, but you have to let people hope they will.
