kevkipo Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Also for the BTTF fans, Jules verne train right there, waiting to be made in real life! Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 (edited) That one isn't the Jules Verne train. I think it might be meant to be the train they used to push the DeLorean time machine to get it up to 88 mph and which went into the ravine , though it appears to have some differences. Or it could even be "just" a train locomotive, with no particular connection to Back to the Future at all, though that seems unlikely to me. That said, the Jules Verne train is in the game (with the right add-on, anyway); it's the micro build included with the Doc Brown fun pack. We see him riding it around in the gameplay footage in the special Doc Brown trailer. I'm curious about how those vehicles will work in the game. Most of the footage and screenshots we've seen show that the vehicles included in physical brick form as micro builds will show up as those exact same chibi-esque builds in-game, but there are also shots which show them (at least the DeLorean time machine, anyway) as "full-sized" builds (in comparison to minifigures, anyway). Are there some sorts of powerups that enlarge the vehicles and such? Edited May 28, 2015 by Blondie-Wan Quote

I wouldn't be surprised if they do what Lego usually does with micro-vehicles like that: making them a novelty while the real deal is also unlockable, either through the game or in the DLC pack. It looks to sci-fi to be the generic train that was used in that climactic scene in the last movie. Quote

I think we're talking about different trains. I was talking about the train engine in the background of this pic of Sensei Wu that Robert posted near the end of the last page: That is clearly neither the "Jules Verne" train nor a mini train. It also has some differences with the train I mentioned, but it could be meant to represent that one anyway. There is a mini version of the Jules Verne train, as I mentioned; it comes in the Doc Brown Fun Pack. But this isn't it. Edited May 28, 2015 by Blondie-Wan Quote

8BrickMario Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 They're the Flying Monkeys from the Wizard of Oz. They are the Wicked Witch's minions. This is the leader: Quote

legofanatic12 Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Are Bane, Harley Quinn and The Joker will be fighting against Lord Vortech even they are supervillains? Quote
Master_Data Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Are Bane, Harley Quinn and The Joker will be fighting against Lord Vortech even they are supervillains? They're playable, so...yes. They might be villains story-wise (like the Wicked Witch), but not in free-play. Quote

wideawakewesley Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Midway Arcade? What characters from Midway Arcade could appear in Lego Dimensions? The original trailer featured arcade units for Defender and Robotron. Looking at games featured in Midway Arcade, I'd love characters from: Gauntlet Rampage Mortal Kombat Quote
XAxles Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Looking at games featured in Midway Arcade, I'd love characters from... Mortal Kombat WAT? Quote
wideawakewesley Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 WAT? Mortal Kombat 2 was part of Midway Arcade Treasures 2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midway_Arcade_Treasures_2 In theory that means we could see Minifigs of Mortal Kombat characters. TTGames have done a PEGI7 version of Deadpool, so it's not beyond the realms of possibility. Quote
