Sherlock is, like, ALL ABOUT murder. Doctor Who has a lovely coating of sci-fi that makes its gruesome elements more palatable and easier to censor, but I can't think of an episode of Sherlock that hasn't crucially involved the very grounded and grizzly murder of another human being. The concepts of death and murder are pretty well excluded from Lego games these days. It's the difference between something like Star Wars and CSI: they're both about as gruesome and kill-y at the end of the day, but one of them has aliens and laser swords to fill in the blanks.

Now that Disney Infinity is over, we have three problems: 1. The dust still has to settle. The game just had the plug pulled not so long ago, so I'd say there are still warehouses to clear and licenses to reorganize before any attempt at another toys-to-life title involving Disney characters could happen. 2. Hesitation to try again. There will definitely be some doubt at the Disney offices over whether or not it's worth it to try again, especially when they'd be making less revenue for this than they would for something that exclusively features their brand. Lego Dimensions is successful, sure, but is it successful enough to try the same trick twice? 3. The old Roger Rabbit debacle. Disney and Warner Brothers are, in many ways, rivals. So how okay would Disney be with making their characters accessories to a game with Batman and Gandalf on the cover? Would WB take issue with the Avengers getting more content than the Justice League? Those two get very petty very fast.

That certainly could work, especially since I believe the new movie is supposed to be some sort of continuation of the last(?). Perhaps a Fun Pack could work, but I think if they had any intention of doing Jumanji they would've done it this year, since that's when the new movie comes out.

Some sort of loose tie-in would definitely be reasonable. I don't think we'll be getting movie stuff from them at this point, since they've passed on Batman v Superman already, but a playable Flash and Green Lantern in the traditional style seem like simple ways to potentially cash in on the movie's success.

I definitely feel you, but I'd say if they made STAR Labs a secret area, that pretty much destroys any chance of it being a prominent location somewhere else, and if STAR Labs wouldn't be a key part of an Arrowverse hub world, I don't know what would be. If I were you, I'd hold out hope for another standalone Lego DC game in the hopes that they do a DLC level for the Flash like they did for Arrow in Lego Batman 3. That seems like the most we're at all likely to get.

Yeah, I defintly agree with you there. But just because it was a hidden area doesn't mean we won't see it in the future, I mean this could all be a teaser for the future. And if they would make a Flash pack what woul vehicle/gadget?

I'd say either his van, or perhaps the cosmic treadmill. It also wouldn't surprise me if they were to go for a brick built Grodd.

Actually that would be pretty cool if they did Grodd, and you could actually be him, just like that creature thingy from fantastic beasts. I'd really like it if they made the flash in a team pack with either arrow or Cisco as vibe, the latter for likely just because they already did green arrow as a polybag. I can't believe lego/warner brothers wasn't thinking ahead, a flash/arrow team pack would be soooo cool.

A look at Robin's costume changing in action:

Hey, thanks for sharing @npgcole!  I sincerely hope that isn't what they meant by "Nightwing" though. Either way, definitely looking forward to this pack!

I think they're referring to the super-classic Nightwing, the Kryptonian folk hero that was the namesake for Dick's second superhero identity! Of course, it could also be one of the hundreds of various Batsuits in the movie, but I guess we'll know sooner or later!

My game has glitched a few times. It's best to just close and reopen the application.

It's been restarted many times over the last year and the glitch is still present.

Oh wow, I completely forgot about that and hadn't even considered it as a possibility. It doesn't really resemble the Kryptonian Nightwing either, as far as I can see/remember, but they'd have much more room for interpretation with that one, so good point! Time will tell!

I could be wrong, but I believe that it's a costume that Robin automatically puts on when he goes into the DC comics world.

Turns out that the Batman from the Starter Pack will actually turn into the regular LBM suit.

https://twitter.com/hashtag/legobatmanmovie?f=tweets&vertical=default&src=hash

So I guess the Excalibat will be able to switch between all of his crazy suits then. Also this just gives us more hope for Joker, Harley and Bane being able to change into their movie forms

Do you think there will be a way to select which version of the character whenever you want, or will they only change while in specific levels or adventure worlds? I'm honestly hoping for the former, just in case they let the Teen Titans turn into either their good selves or comic selves.

Ya I hope that you will be able to control switching between characters. This way you potentially could have two different Cyborgs on screen or Robin and Nightwing.

You think they'll add in any other costumes? They could do things like the Brick like Me minifigures, or Knightmare Batman.

No sorry it'll only take you to the Adventure World and that's it.

For anyone who has the Tina Goldstein Fun Pack, is the Sweeping Evil allowed to be ridden by a character or is there a bug with this too that does not allow that?  I'm having a hard time understanding the purpose of this item if it can't be ridden by a character.  Thanks!

It's a shame the game crashes on the E.T. Adventure World whenever you try to water the plants in the spaceship as E.T., because otherwise the E.T. content is very impressive considering the little they have to base an AW and Battle Arena on. E.T.'s a great movie but not the most obvious choice for a big hub world and battle arena.
