Savage Oppress Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 yeah, I hope the Daleks and Cybermen are playable characters. My mom wants to play as The Doctor and my dad wants to play as a Dalek. My parents and I are in the middle of saving up for a Xbox One, and I showed them the Doctor Who trailer, so now that we are all excited, and that probably means that we might be splurging $100 for Lego Dimensions, which will probably push us back from getting a Xbox One for a while. Savage Oppress Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Clara's minifigure form looks like the Scarlet Witch minifigure from the Age of Ultron sets, the hairstyle is different though. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 (edited) Has Maniac4Bricks solved what Midway Arcade is contributing to Lego Dimensions? Is it Defender? Maybe Robotron? Check out his Instagram page to find out: https://instagram.co...4bricksofficial Seems plausible. Edited July 10, 2015 by Legocity2713 Quote
badbob001 Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 (edited) Here are the games in the Midway Arcade Treasures game. Perhaps from the list we can guess at which one will be made into sets. Most likely the game will need to have a character that can be made into a minifigure. 720° 1986Unlikely. Kid on skateboard? Too normal. Blaster 1983 Bubbles 1983 Defender 1980Doesn't seem likely since there are no characters unless you count the humans. But it is featured in the teaser video... so maybe the main spaceship... and a lander. Perhaps a mutant lander would work (human merged with lander) Defender II (a.k.a. StarGate) 1981 Gauntlet 1985Maybe. None of the characters are a standout, so they will either need to have all four characters or none at all. If they include the monsters, D&D collectors would love this. Joust 1982Likely. The rider and the bird. Please make the rider look like Nausicaa. :) Joust 2: Survival of the Fittest 1986 Klax 1989 Marble Madness 1984 Paperboy 1984Unlikely. Kid on bike? Perhaps too normal. Rampage 1986Likely. But they do need to have all three characters. And the parts for all three minifigures already exists. Rampart 1990 RoadBlasters 1987 Robotron: 2084 1982Likely. Main character and an enemy. Root Beer Tapper 1984 Satan's Hollow 1982 Sinistar 1982 Smash TV 1990Unlikely. See too violent. SPLAT! 1982 Spy Hunter 1983Maybe. Have the spy and his car, which easily lends itself to 3-in-1. Super Sprint 1986 Toobin' 1988 Vindicators 1988 And there is Xenophobe, but then they may get sued for copyright infringing Star Trek and maybe Aliens. Edited July 10, 2015 by badbob001 Quote

Oh man, I loved Paperboy. That played a huge role when I was much younger and pretty sure I'd buy eight if they did a Dimensions pack. Quote
8BrickMario Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Here's a still of a Weeping Angel. It's probably too much to expect one as a physical figure, especially since it would have to be in "scary-uncovered-face" mode all the time, but with grey wings, one could easily be made with the Dol Guldur Battle statue and Ma Cop's hair. kelceycoe Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 (edited) UPDATED LIST OF DIMENSIONS SETS: * What we know: Ghostbusters is the only confirmed set to not have a number and Peter Venkman will fill one of these spots. * Midway Arcade is the only confirmed franchise with currently no footage or sets shown, except the two arcade machines in the original announcement video, extended cut. There is also a table top game of sorts as well (Foosball???). Defenders is easy to make out and I the other one is Robotron 2084 (after comparing the side of the machine to this pic: http://www.thepinballcompany.com/robotron-2084-arcade-game-1982.aspx?gclid=CNSx3c6q1sYCFYM9aQodmP8MRA#.VaLAvV9Viko) * There are 7 missing spots (8 if you don't include Ghostbusters; based on number sequence and assuming it stops at 40). Who will fill them? * The set numbers do NOT match the numbered characters on the first blurry image of the box when guessing began. 71200 71201: Level Pack: Back To The Future 71202: Level Pack: The Simpsons 71203: Level Pack: Portal 2 71204: Level Pack: Doctor Who 71205: Team Pack: Jurassic World 71206: Team Pack: Scooby Doo 71207: Team Pack: Ninjago 71208 71209: Fun Pack: Wonder Woman 71210: Fun Pack: Cyborg 71211: Fun Pack: Bart Simpson 71212: Fun Pack: Emmet 71213: Fun Pack: Bad Cop 71214: Fun Pack: Benny 71215: Fun Pack: Jay 71216: Fun Pack: Nya 71217: Fun Pack: Zane 71218: Fun Pack: Gollum 71219: Fun Pack: Legolas 71220: Fun Pack: Gimli 71221: Fun Pack: Wicked Witch 71222: Fun Pack: Laval 71223: Fun Pack: Cragger 71224 71225 71226 71227: Fun Pack: Krusty the Clown 71228 71229: Team Pack: Joker and Harley Quinn 71230: Fun Pack: Doc Brown 71231: Fun Pack: Unikitty 71232: Fun Pack: Eris 71233 71234: Fun Pack: Sensei Wu 71235 71236: Fun Pack: Superman 71237: Fun Pack: Aquaman 71238: Fun Pack: Cyberman 71239: Fun Pack: Gold Ninja 71240: Fun Pack: Bane (7/12/15) Edited July 12, 2015 by kelceycoe Quote
Savage Oppress Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Midway Arcade is probably the next trailer, since the game comes out in 2 months. Quote

The last has a picture of golden mask. Interesting then that the Midway Arcade thing is going to be a level rather than just using characters? The level name is a reference to Zero Wing, but I don’t think that’s part of Midway Arcades licences? The rest of the achievements Time to Break the Rules! 5 Rebuild the LEGO Gateway Presumably some after main story achievement Broke the Rules! 75 Complete all story levels Rare Artefacts, collected! 50 Collect 30 Minikits from levels Time for an Upgrade! 10 Collect 5 Gold Bricks The Real Golden Master! 25 Collect 30 Gold Bricks All standard trophies for a for a lego game Home, Sweet Home 10 Visit any Hub World for the First Time Dimensional Explorer 25 Visit the homes of Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle Dimensional Dasher 15 Complete a race in any of the hub worlds Pedal to the Metal 40 Complete 5 hub races The Heroes We Need 10 Complete any hub world quest Restoring Order 15 Complete any hub world renovation Official Master Builder 40 Complete 15 hub world renovations This is an interesting set of achievements – So each of the main themes will have hub world… each with races, quests and renovations (what ever these are) – That’s potentially a hell of a lot of content. kelceycoe Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Gotta love the pictures (if you click the Xbox link) or go here--> GHOSTBUSTERS SLIMER IN LEGO FORMAT!!!! http://www.xboxachievements.com/game/lego-dimensions/achievements/ Quote
8BrickMario Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 I knew the Skreemer wouldn't work for it. But then, since it's a bulky new piece, I doubt we'll get Slimer in physical form. Quote
Savage Oppress Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 According to the achievements, there's only 11 story levels for the game. That is short, since newer Lego Games had 20 levels for the entire game. Quote
gpricey Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Yeah but it looks like there might potentially be 11 hub worlds? Quote
Savage Oppress Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Yeah but it looks like there might potentially be 11 hub worlds? one hub world per level, ok. Do the minifigure packs unlock extra levels or do they unlock the same level that is already available for story mode? Quote
PenPlays Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 one hub world per level, ok. Do the minifigure packs unlock extra levels or do they unlock the same level that is already available for story mode? The Level Packs unlock one additional level according to the theme of the Level Pack. Quote

npgcole Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Don't forget there's also hub worlds for The LEGO Movie, Jurassic World, and Chima, they just don't seem to have their own levels. So to me the list of leves by theam is?? Wizard of Oz Simpson’s Nijago Dr Who DC/Superman Back to the Future Portal DC/Riddler/Batman Ghostbusters The Unknown Midway Arcade Level Scooby Doo I think the Riddle me that/Riddle-Earth one is The Lord of the Rings, just with the Riddler in it. Most likely when he rides the Balrog in the trailers. Quote
gpricey Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Yes, missed that and have changed my post above to reflect it.. Quote
Jared Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 I think the final three levels are probably just brand new one-off worlds, considering the villain of the game is a specially created one. Also, just picked up on the hype today. Wasn't really interested at first, but after seeing the comiccon trailer, I've already pre-ordered the portal and doctor who game packs. Too bad I'll be in school and wont have time to play until winter break. *goes to a corner and cries* Quote
NittanyOsFan Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 According to this site the starter pack will have three Doctor Who levels: http://www.gamezone.com/news/doctor-who-joins-lego-dimensions-3421213 It could be there are more levels than achievements and you only get an achievement after completing a set of levels in the game.
