Aanchir Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 I really feel like I ought to chime in that if the set labeled "Mr. T" were an A-Team set then he almost certainly wouldn't be identified as Mr. T, even in a placeholder title. That'd be like identifying the level pack with Peter Venkman with the placeholder title "Bill Murray" instead of the name of the character or the name of the franchise. Mr. T. has been on plenty of shows where he's played himself, so it seems to me one of those would be the more likely inspiration. I'm going to agree with some other people that there's a good chance "AT" stands for "Adventure Time". Quote
Jbricks Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 (edited) Remember when when J2G said Raven was "go" ing to make an appearance possibly? Perhaps she's coming in a set, ie the TTG pack, that is specifically branded as TTG. While id prefer her in a normal set, having her in a dimensions pack would still be excellent Edited September 19, 2015 by Jbricks Quote
Legocity2713 Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 And do you care to elaborate on what was said or give a real hint? Are you going to say what it is? I don't have any hints, I'm just saying that Just2Good gave us one before, something along the lines of "I pity the fool" followed by something similar to "who made the decision not to put Mortal Kombat in the game" or something like that. And I only said confirmation because the guesses in the forum seem valid this time around. Sorry for any confusion. Quote
Actor Builder Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 My guesses: GB - Green Beans HP - Hokey Pokey S - Seagull AT - Adhesive Tarp MI - Middle Initial Mr T - Million Ripe Tomatoes KR - Kick (In the) Rear FB - Floating Bubble TTG - Tiny Tim's Ghost GR - Garbage Rubbish ET - Extra Toppings Quote
EdWebhead Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Sonic?? SONIC??? 1000% YES!!! I want that to be a reality. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) TTG should be Teen titans Robin. He was shown in one of the trailers. Raven has to be the other one. Sadly no beast boy, but with these other two, I'll be ok. Edited September 20, 2015 by amazingbricks Quote
Legomaster34 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I'm going to go out on a limb here, but could "S" maybe mean Studios? If I remember correctly, there was a Steven Spielberg Minifigure in that theme, and we have potential references to at least two of his films, E.T. and Jaws ("You're going to need a bigger imagination.", a line from the trailers). Just throwing out a thought. Quote

Tariq j Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I hope ET, is actually based off the movie ET. Quote

Just throwing out a thought. It would be hilarious if we got the people behind some of these franchises as playable NFC minifigures. Imagine having Sydney Newman team up with Steven Spielberg. Or Terry Nation with Dan Aykroyd. Also: those who are still alive could voice some dialogue for the game! :D Quote
Tygurah Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I've been looking through the most successful movie franchises of all-time and other than the ones we obviously won't get for Lego Dimensions (well, I'm not entirely sure if we won't be getting SW, because of that rumor by Sir Von Lego ), like Transformers (Hasbro) and Marvel (Disney), the only ones that really stand out are Fast & Furious (By Universal, and since we already have Jurassic World, it's quite possible) and Shrek (which didn't get a new movie for some time now, but neither did BTTF, and how awesome would it be to play as the Donkey or the Dragon? ). What do you think about that? Quote
Legolad_UK Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) I reckon Shrek could make an appearance but not as a playable character. This game is getting bigger and bigger with each press release I get from WBgames uk. Also, this is worth watching. Edited September 20, 2015 by Legolad_UK Quote
Tygurah Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I reckon Shrek could make an appearance but not as a playable character. Why not? It'd be kind of weird to have the franchise without the main character being playable (Eh, I guess the same could be said about The Wizard of Oz, but still - Dorothy probably wouldn't have too much to offer). Quote
Legolad_UK Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I could be wrong, only time will tell. You've seen what's happened with similar games, new versions are released like every 6 months it seems. Quote
LegoPercyJ Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I can see E.T. as Gollum with new printing. Quote

Sometimes, the most fun you can have with LEGO games is by playing as the useless characters who can't really do a lot just for a laugh. Quote
Cheatster9000x Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) My guesses: GB - Ghostbusters (EDIT: Was Team GB but Ghostbusters makes so much more sense) HP - Harry Potter S - Sonic AT - Adventure Time MI - Mission Impossible (it's the only thing I could think of) Mr T - Mr T KR - I have no idea XD FB - Still no idea! TTG - Teen Titans Go GR - Generator Rex ET - ET the Extraterrestrial This is part wishlist, part "the first thing that came into my head when i saw the initials". Ashnflash Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Shrek would never happen because its Dream Works... LEGO and Disney are tight if they did that it would be like a slap in the face to Disney... Quote

Actor Builder Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 LEGO and Disney are tight...with the exception of Dimensions...If Disney doesn't want LEGO to use their characters for Dimensions, because it competes with Disney Infinity, then it only makes sense for LEGO to seek out other licenses, regardless of a relationship with Disney for their building toys. LEGODalekbuster523 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 My guesses: GB - Great Britiain (based on the Team GB sports figures? London hub would be nice) That won't happen. The 2012 London Olympics (when there was all the Team GB hype) was three years ago and next year it'll be four. It would ultimately be pointless. Quote
BlueberryWaffles Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 This initial stuff is both confusing and very exciting! If Harry Potter comes to Dimensions I will be so happy. I'm hoping GB is more Ghostbusters though, probably being the rest of the team in a Team Pack and Fun Pack. Is this going to run well on Wii U? I heard Lego Jurassic World was bad on there, hopefully this is better. Quote
