KlodsBrik Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Watched the Weeping Angels level. I'm impressed by its execution, and I now desperately want a Weeping Angel minifigure! They really did the weeping angels justice. When i first found out that the game would hold weeping angels, i was very scared on how they would execute them ingame, since they are kind of something special. But im so thrilled that they actually managed to make them work ! Quote
Robert8 Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Do we consider LEGO Dimensions as a LEGO theme? Quote
8BrickMario Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 (edited) It has sets. physical minifigures, and bricks, so yes, it is a theme. It's just the first LEGO game to have multiple products associated with it. Edited October 4, 2015 by 8BrickMario Quote
KlodsBrik Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Do we consider LEGO Dimensions as a LEGO theme? It should be imo. Everything for LEGO Dimensions the next four years, will offcourse be diffrent themes, but even the boxing of this game sort of has its own franchise, and it will mostly be meant for the game itself. Rumour has it that the Ideas set contains one. What would be cool is if sets related to the Dimensions licenses were also to come with NFC bases that allow you to play as the minifigures they include in the game. Oky Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Do we consider LEGO Dimensions as a LEGO theme? As far as I'm concerned, if something is listed under "Themes" on S@H, it's officially a theme. Quote

BrickBob Studpants Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 (edited) At first, I only wanted to buy a couple of additional packs, but now I simply had to get all of them (my wallet's still sobbing in the corner) The game itself is fantastic, can't wait to see the DW stuff There's only one problem I've run into: how do you attach the tap pieces to the loudspeaker part in the Benny Fun Pack? They simply won't fit in there Has anyone encountered the same problem? Edited October 4, 2015 by Lego-Freak Quote

Would you care to give me any money-making tips? (If Lord Sugar ever leaves The Apprentice, perhaps you could replace him? ) Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Collecting LEGO sets, playing videogames and watching movies (mainly at the cinema) are pretty much my only hobbies, so I save everything up for that Dimensions magically manages to combine all three of my passions thus forcing me to buy EVERYTHING it has to offer Quote

gpricey Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 (edited) Just a heads up of how to save a couple of £££ in the u.k. There is a ebay trader called borchusammy who been trading reliably and cheaply Skylanders and Disney Infinity and Ambio figures on ebay for a long time with really good feedback levels. Hes in Germany I believe. A friend of mine just tipped me off hes also started doing Lego Dimensions. I'm going to order something and see how it goes... In the shops Wonder Woman in the UK is 14.99 (£14.86 on amazon) http://www.ebay.co.u...=item5d5da462ac Hes got it listed (above) for £13.42 (total price + P and P). I make that a 10% saving which is none to shabby! Hes also got all three LOR, LEGO Movie or Cheima packs. In the shops total price £44.97 and hes got it all in at £37 (14% saving) Long delivery times, but at this point in time only way i can find to save a bit of money. Thats the same as me. If you enjoyed the previous LEGO games, this will be worth every penny spend even though a lot of peoples think its quite expensive. I feel like its the best way ever to spend my money Long delivery times, but at this point in time only way i can find to save a bit of money. Its always nice to save money. Dont know how i would handle the delivery time. I had to get Dimensions the 2nd when it was released in Denmark at any cost. ( Well, at the cheapest i could get offcourse ) I was so so lucky that the shop i went to had 25% off on everything in the shop that weekend, so i had a few more Kr. to spend on more LEGO Dimensions sets. I hope your orders will arrive soonish so you can jump into this amazing game and enjoy it yourself ! Quote

I bet there will be deals in the Uk at Christmas, we have the next wave in November, so some of the harder to shift ones might get a couple of quid off then too. I know what you mean though, I want to get another pack every time i'm in the shops. As it stands I have Portal Level pack, Wicked Witch, Jay, Emmet, Scooby Doo Team Pack. Just with this (total cost £100) has opened up a lot of the game to be fair, and there is plenty to keep me going. But as someone who's played all the lego games and got platinum trophy's in most of them on PS3/4 its infuriating that i cant get past some bits until the relevant pack is released. I could understand it for adventure wolds, but in in the levels... IMO they should have been totally comparable with the base pack. That said I can see why, Im likely to spend a considerably larger amount on packs than I would have. What I would like to see is an optimum build of what packs you need to unlock everything. There are some packs that although the lego and minifigures are cool, they just come with the same ability's as other packs... Going to have to look into that I think! Quote

BatZack Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I'm super Impressed with this game. I only need two more in wave one to complete what I am wanting/requiring. Wicked witch and Simpsons packs Quote
