Really hope Flintstones does end up being a part of the game. I would definitely buy Flintstones Dimensions packs; miss watching the cartoons repeated on BBC2 late morning.

Really impressed with the dedication to the DW world and the wide variety of characters present in the DW level pack!

I found several characters, aliens, references, and more interesting points including:

The Paternoster Gang

Ice Warriors

Ood

Clockwork Droids

Rusty the Dalek

The Silence

Jack Harkness

Autons

Osgood

Cybermats

Cybermen

Daleks

Weeping Angels

Zygons

Torchwood

The Moment

Different TARDIS for 4th Doctor if the day is a multiple of 4

The TARDIS changes its theme song depending on the current Doctor

Matt Smith will do the drunken giraffe dance at random moments (and it's hilariously cute)

Quite a nice roster if you ask me, and knowing me, I'm sure I've missed some. Really appreciate the dedication to the source material in this pack!

I've seen videos where Madam Vastra and Strax appear but does Jenny make an appearance too?

I haven't found Jenny yet... I'm not sure if she's actually on the game, although she's been mentioned a lot. Perhaps they couldn't get the voice actress?

I have asked before.

Anyone knows how to change the soundtrack ingame on PS3 ?

I do really enjoy the danish audiotrack for LEGO Dimensions since i now and then play it with my sisters twins who are 5 years old, but now im almost through the main part of the game.

Im really in need now to be able to change the audio now.

First of all, im not gonna listen to Doctor Who in Danish, that will (probably) spoil it a whole lot for me

Secondly, the experience of listening to the original audio would be like playing the game all over again.

Hoping for some help. Thanks :classic:

I wouldn't imagine Catrin Stewart would be hard to get considering they've got blockbuster actors such as Chris Pratt and Gary Oldman voicing characters in the game. If Jenny's not included, then it's probably because she's not as memorable as the other members of the Paternoster Gang.

Makes sense... She's the least "interesting" of the lot, being just a normal human and not a Silurian or Sontaran.

There are some perplexing voice disparities, the most grievous being that all Ninjago characters aren't voiced by any of the original actors (as well as Chima). Since no Ninjago or Chima video games have featured these voice actors before, I assume it's.... Cartoon Network licensing issues ...(?). Vincent Tong (Kai's voice actor) has stated that he would love to voice Kai in the games, so he must not have declined...

(Side note: for some reason, Madame Vastra has a regular minding head with a head attachment to symbolize the back "frills," but the other Silurians featured have sculpted heads in game...)

Are Loraine and George and biff in the 1955 bttf world?

If you mean in the adventure world, you only travel between 1885,1985 and 2015.

I hope you get it. And please do report back wtih your first impression

I couldnt resist on asking my shop ( once again ) since i passed by earlier today, and he told me it was the whole of the toy chain that still hadnt got only that set of wave 2.

It sounds very possible thats why they have stricter rules. Would at least explain a lot.

No I didn't. It was Bart and Krusty that turned up early for some reason. Hopefully when I get home tonight The Doctor and Unikitty will be waiting...

Do you need to have the update in order to play Doctor Who level? I got it today yet can't access world or level and I really really want to play them!

Dunno, i updated though on the 2nd when i got the unikitty, havent had any problems playing the Doctor Who level ( Just got started though ) . Still havent accesed the free roam offcourse.

So my guess is that you will need to update in order to be able to play the level. :classic:

However i have heard about a few who experience crashes when using the TARDIS to much.

Well it looks like I need access to the server (which I can't get until the download is finished in 10 hours!) to play the level I have been waiting for since it was announced. I am not a happy Time Lord right now.

<snip>

I play the German WiiU version, and I get a language prompt each time the game starts. I always choose "English (UK)" and get the English original audio + subtitles.

I've also had games before where I had to change the language of my Wii system to English to be able to get the English audio for the game (i.e. no language selection in-game). Maybe that works for your PS3 version.

There were reports of game freezes and crashes in the Level Pack. @LEGODimensions advised to turn off any Red Brick extras, especially the RADS mini kit indicator. Hopefully, this is now fixed, but if you do have problems, try the above...

I have no freezing/crashing problems, I have the problem of not being able to access any of the Doctor Who content, despite having The Doctor as the only character on the toy pad. But the download of the update is nearly done so hopefully I will be travelling through time and space soon :)

What console have you got? I turned on my Wii U on Tuesday and the wave 2 characters and 'Hire a Hero' were all shown as updates on the bulletin board. I can't test the HaH feature because I've got all the wave 1 packs and it doesn't give the hire option if you own a minifig that can do the task. I do hope there won't be a lengthy update when I get home or I might be going a bit 'Unikitty' myself!

Finally have the Doctor! I love him. But, on my Xbox 360, it will not let me play the level or access the Adventure World. Whenever I hop into the game, it tells me that to do the level I need to update the game, but I have not received any update prompts. Any ideas?

Now this may be because I do not have Xbox Live, but still would like some confirmation.

@Hulk_Smash I'm having the same problem. I reeeeeeeally wanna play the Adventure World.

Well my problem got sorted, it did need the update, and I love the Adventure World and playing as all the Doctors!

Having a PS4 I don't know how to update a game on Xbox :/

The Doctor is awesome! The levels are very good as well.

I couldnt agree more .... Its not only that im hyped. Im still critical, but so far this Level Pack has delivered on the money.

Im so glad that the developers has actually taken it superserious and they have done a fantastic job.

Also, considering the builds is what it is in the Level Pack, i find them quite good and fun to build.

Money well spend i must say :classic:

Contacted Lego about the cracked parts; as usual they have great customer service and will sent me replacements. Sad to say, 5 of K9's parts have already cracked within a few days of purchase... (What did I do to deserve this???)

There do appear to be ongoing problems with some Expansion Packs for Xbox360. The BttF LP wouldn't load for a lot of owners and recently there have been issues with Simpsons LP and Jurassic TP. So this might be part of that issue. TT/WBG say they are aware of problems and have been working on a fix since launch.

Yesterday was a bit of a disaster for me. Only Unikitty turned up and half of the LEGO is missing and my DW LP didn't arrive until this morning! Gggrrrr.

I totally agree, this expansion is superb. The 'puzzle' element to the Adventure World makes it feel distinctly different to the other 11 and captures what Doctor Who is all about, whizzing about in the TARDIS doing stuff!

Mark Warburton, Andy Holt and the rest of the Tt developers really have delivered the best Doctor Who video game experience yet. The Story level is pleasingly timey-wimey and looks stunning.

The K-9 build is brilliant and stuffing the TARDIS with bricks for the alternate builds makes it feel heavier than it looks and really robust. And you get a spare Sonic Screwdriver!
