LEGODalekbuster523 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Second Nexo Knights. Besides all of the rumored franchises from the list, we've still got a lot to expect, like the teased Hanna-Barbera cartoons Nexo Knights, and who knows what else? Vorton's going to be pretty full next year. I doubt all of the rumoured franchises will come true because it would be too much alongside the franchises they already have in the game. Knight Rider, for example, is never going to happen. I hope we get some more Doctor Who (although that's inevitable), Simpsons, Ghostbusters and Jurassic World sets (preferably featuring characters from Jurassic Park also). Quote
strangely Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Cyborg does not fit in to Teen Titans as he is now... But the sad thing is that LEGO doesn't care... However, if Lego makes Dimensions 2.0 or something, I hope they redesign cyborg, or give him different suits. Cyborg is Cyborg, his exact design makes little difference. And as it's been said countless times before there is no Lego Dimensions 2.0, they're going to add on to the current game for a while. Quote
Starscream759 Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Sorry that I'm repeating myself at this point but I have a problem with the game. Basically I'm stuck on The Simpsons level and it's not because I'm having trouble with the level itself. No, I'm going through it fine, the problem itself is actually something technical like I finish the Lord Business battle and it's showing the cutscene at one point in that cutscene Lord Business Plutonium rod from Homer I get up to the bit where he says something about the rod and then the cutscene freezes. The sounds of the cutscene continue but it's not moving. I need help fast do you guys know a way of solving this problem. Because I want to move on from that level and continue with the story. Quote

gamejutzu Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 (edited) Cyborg is Cyborg, his exact design makes little difference. That's what I said. Well at least, it makes very little difference to LEGO anyway. I forgot about the add-ons. Whoops I just hope the give Jay the ghost trap ability, and Nya some water powers. I also hope there will be unlockable variants added. For instance, Jay gets deepstone armor suit, Nya gets water gi, and Cyborg gets Teen Titans redesign. Edited December 29, 2015 by gamejutzu Quote

If they release new variants, you'd have to purchase them as separate packs, as the principle of the game is "no unlockable characters". Quote

Every Doctor is playable via the Doctor Who level pack without having to purchase 12 more minifigures separately. Quote
Starscream759 Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Despite my problems with story mode, I've been spending today playing through the Back to the Future level pack along with looking around the different versions of Hill Valley. And I'm not gonna lie here, but I totally reeked out upon seeing Hill Valley for the first time in game! I can't believe I'm walking around in something iconic like Hill Valley! I've been driving around the streets in the Delorean, seeing the 2015 and 1885 versions of Hill Valley, and side quests for Doc Brown and Marty's relatives and it's been a lot of fun, truth to be told. Though I was a bit disappointed about how short the level pack was but hey if I get to Hill Valley after completing the level pack then that's pretty cool in my books. Quote
mediumsnowman Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I finished the Dr. Who level, it was really well done. The Weeping Angels were freaky, even in Lego form. Then my game froze while fighting Two-Face in the Metropolis level. Quote
mediumsnowman Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I restarted the level and it worked fine. Then on the BTTF level, when fighting Vortech, I took the side time-travel thingie to the 2015 Hill Valley and when I came back Vortech was just gone, so I couldn't finish. Very frustrating. Quote
Starscream759 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Just gonna ask is it necessary to still have the Back to the Future level pack if it's a little on the short side of things? Quote
DuckBricks Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Just gonna ask is it necessary to still have the Back to the Future level pack if it's a little on the short side of things? The DeLorean is good for accessing secret areas, but that's really the only good thing it's got going for it... If extra areas isn't your thing, I don't recommend getting it. However, if you're like me and love secret areas, I'd get it. Quote

You could get a Teen Titans level pack that comes with the TT variant of Cyborg. A team pack of Raven and Beast Boy. And another team pack of Robin and Starfire. Of course, the combinations for these characters are endless, but that can be one of them. It would promote both genders equally, without isolating one for the other. This Cyborg variant would obviously have new abilities, like hover, hack, etc. But also lose a few abilities, like swim, cracked wall break (can still rip ground), etc. Quote

Starscream said he was haveing trouble on the 360. I wonder if it's buggy on the older systems it would be interesting to hear peoples experiences on different platforms. Also is anyone out there playing it on Xbox one, cause I know a lot of games were supper buggy early on with that console to the point of not working at all, but I thought I'd heard that they'd worked those problems out. 8BrickMario Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 (edited) I have to say, I really enjoyed the Midway Arcade level. The gameplay changes were very refreshing. The Scooby-Doo level was also pretty fun. I didn't realize that the designs of the Library Ghost and Zombie Taxi Driver were revealed in the Ghostbusters level before we even saw pictures of the HQ. Also, I don't know if it's been suggested, but I think a very likely franchise would be SpongeBob. It would be another cartoon world, it's been a theme before, and Tom Kenny's worked with LEGO before. I'm not really a fan of the show, but I'd sorta love to see it in the game. Well okay I've got a 4GB Xbox 360, it's a 2013 model. The game works fine apart from the cutscene of Lord Business freezing up, I can walk around in the Adventure worlds, I can playthrough the Back to the Future level pack so that's fine it's just I can't progress through story mode. I really need to find a solution to get past this freezing cutscene problem. Right now I'm in the Lord of the Rings adventure world doing a sidequest for Sam and trying to look up where to find the last person that Sam wants you to apprehend so to speak anyway. I find it rather odd that I'm able to playthrough Lego Marvel with no problems whatsoever while on Lego Dimensions I'm stuck roaming around adventure worlds. Quote

DuckBricks Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Thing is I pretty much know about the Under the Sea enchantment secret area. But are there any others in particular? There's a Titanic area accessible by the DeLorean in the Ghostbusters Level, a Space Base in the Midway Arcade Level, 2015 in the BTTF Level, and probably a lot more I've missed scattered throughout the worlds and levels... There's Kansas (fall off Oz), and perhaps the Batcave counts? I can't tell you about more, as the only worlds I've accessed are TLM, DC, Oz, and LotR. Oh, and using the Tardis in certain places in London will take you to the houses in Bedrock and Orbit City. Quote

Dorayaki Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 (edited) Based on the fact Nexo Knights is absolutely too new to the LEGO franchises, I don't hope it's entry unless the second expansion ensures enough entries for LEGO's in-house franchises. It's a shame to just see three LEGO worlds from all of the current franchises. No SpongeBob also means no TMNT, sadly. Unless they're handed out again luckily, consider that Scooby-Doo was done by COBI at first. Not sure if NBA counts a franchise.... I don't think this can be pulled out as a world.
