July 19, 201311 yr Is anyone else hoping for a new General Grievous vs. Obi Wan set? I missed out on the 2005 version and I'm glad I did because it didn't really look that great. Hopefully it will also include a new Commander Cody in Phase 2 armor as well. On 7/19/2013 at 4:31 PM, legofreak86 said: [snip] Anyone seen this? I think we'll definitely get something Utapau themed, either in the form of a new Jedi Interceptor or an updated Wheel Bike Chase. Hopefully with both Commander Cody and Tion Meddon.
July 21, 201311 yr I have a really lame Idea: LEGO SW:TCW episode packs! "Trespass": 2 freeco bikes, 3 Narglatches, 2 Talz warriors, The Talz shaman(or medic, I'm not sure), Thi-sen, Chairman Cho, Pantoran guard, Clone Trooper(snow gear), Rex, Anakin, Obi-wan, Chuchi. "Supply Lines": AAT, Toydarian counsel room, Final showdown battle scene, Ima Gun Di, Keeli, Clone trooper(keeli's squad), Battle Droids(2), B1 commander, SBD, Bail Organa, Lot Dod, King Katunko(spelling?), Toydarian councilman. "Landing at Point Rain": Red Y-wing, Geonosian Cannon, Geonosians(2, olive green), Obi wan, Cody, Waxer, Boil, Pilot, Desert Arf trooper. If that fails, then these sets: Special forces Y-wing: Clone Pilot, Gunner, Desert ARF, Geonosian with speeder bike. Master Di's last stand: a few trees, sandbag forts, Ima Gun Di, Keeli, Clone troopers(2, keeli's squad), B1 Battle Droids(4), SBD(1). Freeco Speeder: Clone troopers(2) Talz warriors(2).

I really want one as well if TLG do release one I would love to try and motorise the wheel bike so it can move by itself.

Yeah and the Boga would be all new and detailed. But I would pay up to $40 for a motorized wheel bike and a detailed Boga, even if it has less than 300 pieces! But do you think lego could include one of the separatist leaders who were on Utapau as a fourth figure, or would be a little "out of scene" due to the fact that the fight took about five minutes after Grievous talked to the leaders?
July 22, 201311 yr There was a UCS N-1 naboo starfighter. I'd like to see a few more clones, perhaps we can get them in batlle packs again like when we had the SOTD wave and the Deathwatch battle packs.

I prefer getting Tion Meddon and Phase 2 Commander Cody. Separatist leaders can always come in Geonosis or Mustafar themed sets, but those two characters are exclusive to Utapau.

You do have a point about the Separatist leaders, I bought the duel on geonosis set with Poggle and the entire set was really cool. I wouldn't mind a mustafar set with Anakin killing the Separatist leaders including Wat Tambor, we haven't had him in any sets.
July 22, 201311 yr ROTS: AT-OT (last one was CW however it did make an appearance during the order 66 scenes) Figs: 1 phase 2 clone pilot and 9 phase 2 clones and commander Bly along with Ayyla Secura

No, I think that would be fine to include them, they've done it in the past, e.g. Anakins jedi inteceptor included a battle droid and nute gunray to recreate another scene. One of the main problems I had with the 2008 death star was TLG focused too much on the figures and too much on getting the shape right it resulted in it being crampt and no space for playability, so I thought of a new idea for it: Basically it it will feature different rooms of the death star such as the detention block trashcompactor tractor beam etc. All of the rooms will be sold in different sets which, once you collect them using technic pins can be combind together in different ways so they are "modular". Here is another idea : Set name: The Invisible Hand Episode(s): ROTS Minifigures: Greivous, kenobi, palpatine, dooku, Anakin, Magna droids(x2), droid pilot (x2). Description: The front half of the ship features a cockpit with exploding glass. The back if the ship features a fighting area with catapults to flick minifigures and a collapsing bridge to crush kenobi. Why I want it : I'm no expert on the difference between malevolence and this ship whether they are the same or not but I've always wanted this scene in Lego the duel was short but good and the minifigures would be great , it would be amazing to see a SW greivous.

I heartily disagree. TLG provided an exspensive mega-set with absolutely fantastic minifigures. It also did a brilliant job of assembling the most notable interior DS scenes into a large Death Star playset. Each scene flows well into the next. There are so many ingenious little details throughout the set. During the build I kept finding myself saying, "wow, they even thought of this." Just curious, do you own the set?

July 23, 201311 yr I too would like to see an Invisible Hand in the tradition of the $100-$130 range of ships, but I'm thinking it would get confused with the Malevolence, especially with Greivous featured in both. A nice wave of ROTS sets is fine with me-the last few sets released are still pretty fresh so they'll go good together. Not sure if I've said this before, but a "sequel" set to Palpatine's Arrest would be fantastic. Many people here seem to want this, and I think the time is right. My take on this would be a $90-100 set, about the same size as the Arrest. It would include six figures: Yoda, Sidious, Bail Organa, Mas Ameeda, and two Royal Guards. Bail's lovely speeder would also come with the set. The set itself would feature Palpatine's senate office with a raising podium, and launchable senate pods- three would be enough for me, I would also like a feature that would allow Yoda to knock out the guards- one of my favorite scenes in the film. Seeing the new Walker coming in 2014 makes me think we'll see some more Kashyyk stuff, too. Since I pretty much stayed away from Clone Wars sets, I would't mind seeing updates of the Droid Gunship and Turbo Tank, although the Tank might be a long shot. Or how about an updated Separatist Shuttle? Greivous, Sidious hologram with light brick- throw in one of the Separatist leaders and I'll take it.

Hi, maybe I did go over the top slightly with that and some of the details were amazing, however the main elevator for example may be hard to put minifigures on from the garbage shoot if you had big hands. BTW I do own the set. So I do see what you mean by the fact that things are pretty cramped in there. Regarding future sets, this may have been mentioned before but I think a new system-scale version of the Imperial Shuttle would be really cool. It could be Shuttle Tyderium, in conjunction with the other Endor sets released recently. It would include Han, Chewie, Luke and Leia in Endor camo, and a couple of Rebel commandos. I know that most of these figures were already in the Ewok Village, but this set could be the less-expenisve alternative to get the figures (which TLG sometimes does).

July 23, 201311 yr I don't get how we don't get an update of the imperial shuttle... The UCS doesn't fit well with the rest.

July 23, 201311 yr I think it's about time we get an updated Imperial Shuttle, it's been 8 years since the last one appeared in a regular set. I have little doubt that we won't see one next year though. Concerning next year, here are my apdated 2014 Winter Wave predictions... Um those have grey markings with exception of green squad and the kashyyyk troopers did you mean 442nd sige battalion clones (wookie catamaran set 2005)? July 23, 201311 yr Hi, Set Name: Speeder Chase Minifigures: Zam Wessel, Anakin, Kenobi, Padme (nightgown), black probe droid. Estimated price: £29.00 Description: This set will come with Zam's speeder and Anakin's speeder, the pod in Zam's speeder can detach from the wings for extra playability and to represent the crash. Why I want it: Its almost been eleven years since this set came out and I missed that time, so we have to see it again, mainly because of Zam. Set Name: Kasshyeak Tower Minifigures: Yoda, scout troopers (x2), phrase 2 clones (x2), Chewbucca, wookie warrior Estimated price: £59.99 Description: The layout of this set will be very similar to the ewok village; it will consist of two towers with clone armour and weapons in one and a 1x1 hologram of mace windu. The towers will be connected via a rope bridge. A scout trooper will also have a hologram of darth sidious. There will be a catapult on one of the towers to represent yoda jumping up to stop the clones from attacking him. Set name: Transformation Bed Minifigures: Burned Anakin, Palpatine, Medical droid, Darth Vader Release: 2015* Episode: ROTS Description: This set is the room where Aniken becomes vader, in the center there will be a bed attached via two technic pins, a bit like a hammock, this bed can then flip over where Vader will be the mechanism to put the helmet on will be the same as palpatines arrest. Dotted around the room will be medical bottles robotic legs, arms and machiene. *The reason why I put the date here is because this set will mark the tenth anneversary of ROTS , one of the most iconic moments in the film that I rembered was when vader arose from the bed, I know palpatines shuttle had this but vader had no armour so it wasn't the same. Edited July 23, 201311 yr by Tariq j
July 23, 201311 yr A System scale update of the Shuttle would be wonderful! But please, no Endor theme. This would be a nice way to get an Imperial Dignitary and an updated Protocol Droid. And let's not forget about Jerjerrod! I would want this to be a flagship set- 1000-1300 pieces with a $120 price tag. Maybe include a Death Star cargo loader for some playabilty. I would not want automatic wings to take away from the interior, so clicky hinges would be fine with me. I would give this one ten figures: Vader, Palpatine, Jerjerrod, Dignitary, two Royal Guards, two pilots, a Protocol Droid and either a Stormtrooper or Luke. I would hate to see the current ROTJ LEGO selection end without a Shuttle.
