there's red markings on the normal snowtroopers, but that's under the insignia that the snow commander has. Anyway, speaking of snowtroopers...

How about a both based at-st set? Granted it was only seen there for 5-10 seconds, but Lego has done more abscure.

That sounds quite good but I don't know if I want even more Snowtroopers.

Honestly I want some troopers that Ezra's helmet belongs to. No idea what they are though.

They could be some sort of Elite Trooper or perhaps he simply modified his helmet.

Storm Trooper: Storm Troopers with Ezra's helmet(2), Two standard Storm Troopers(2).

Rebel Trooper: Rebel Trooper(boot printing, new faces with com-link(that's the trend these days ), 4)

First we need to know what type they are to begin with.

According to the Rebels panel, they seem to be the pilots of the new AT-DP walker. We'll likely see a Rebels-themed AT-DP set with one or two of these guys in it.

One thing I've always wanted to see was the MAF, as all we have in terms of droid gunships is the HMP (more of a bomber than a gunship)

Here is the HMP droid gunship, which at this point has seen 2 releases.

And the MAF. The MAF (mechanized assault flyer) was only featured in Star Wars Battlefront I as a counter to the Republic Gunship. It's understandable that Lego has not used this design as it is a rather obscure reference, and I'm not sure if they would have the rights to the video game based design or not.

That's actually quite interesting as it opens up the possibility of even more new styles of trooper in the future, although you can never have enough stormtroopers.

battlefront was one of my favorite games as a kid, it would be great to see one of these. But with the cancellation of EU toys, it unfortunately probably won't be made.

I don't think I have ever seen a MOC of the MAF.

A new boga would be nice to go with the new grievous bike. The set could obi-wan's boga and a crab droid. Minifigures could include obi-wan, ROTS Cody, and 2 battle droids.

Hmm... Perhaps it could be like the BAT vs. Bane set, with Obi Wan chasing a crab droid, and having to rescue Tion Medon?

I meant in the sense that we can't just change the story around and expect it to sit well with fans.

If say they had a Trooper Chase it while Obi is after Grievous that would be fine.

I think lego needs to make MORE EU sets. If they just stick to the Movies it will get kinda boring after a bit.

I think R2D2 type droids should be double sided print. The back is so plane. I would be really happy to see them get double side printing on there bodies.

That would be easy if there even was a basic print to work with but you sometimes but not always get to see the back.

Why not a Old mando Battle pack that comes with some of the old mandos that defeated all those jedi. And how bout a vs. set with some of those jedi.

"The Expanded Universe is dead folks. Hasbro has been directed by Lucasfilm, Ltd. (the culprit in many of Hasbro's bad business decisions) to avoid the Expanded Universe like the plague. Not only is it next to impossible that we'll see a brand new Expanded Universe figure in the near future (we're talking years folks), older and hard to find figures will NEVER see re-release either.

So far there is already an exception. Hasbro has received permission to get Bastila Shan, Darth Malgus, the Republic Trooper and Starkiller out into the line again, but that's only because of the distribution nightmare surrounding The Vintage Collection which have been planned way in advance to the recently announced "No EU" directive.

Hasbro said, and I quote, to 'not expect to ever see Jaina Solo or Jacen Solo or any other older Comic Packs figure re-released in any way to get out to collectors'."

On a kind of hopeful note, if you're interested in EU Empire or Alliance vehicles, there might be some near in the future due to the Rebels TV series.
