February 11, 20178 yr Only one I wish for is a Geonosis Arena. Perhaps as one set with a raised base plate for the walls of multiple like with the Jabba's palace sets where you connect different sections together.
February 11, 20178 yr This is a post where you can place your wishlists for a possible line of future sets that are meant to connect to each other such as http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/K4480_Jabba%27s_Palace_Kit An example would be Kamino: Landing Platform with a small Slave 1 Cloning Facility Jango's chambers You can put much more detail that my example if you wish and state what mini figures the sets would come with.

From Rogue One, it would be quite good if we got an X-Wing but with interchangeable blue and red parts, so it could either be Blue Leader, or Red Leader's Starfighter. Â

February 13, 20178 yr I could see this getting merged with the "Future Star Wars sets" thread, but who am I to say? Â I only just joined. Anyway, it's a great idea, and I don't know why the modular set concept hasn't been taken further. Â Part of the charm of the original Harry Potter sets (2001-2002) was that they could all be combined to make a giant Hogwarts. Â Obviously, the Star Wars galaxy is far more expansive than one fairly uniform-looking school, but I like the suggestions that you provided. I'd like to see a Scarif Citadel tower that could attach to 75171, preferably with a monorail connecting the two of them. Â That would be pretty sweet. As far as an entirely new setting, I think the Yavin IV Rebel Base temple could be done with several connected sets: -Hangar with ground crew transport -Briefing Room with Death Star plans on Screen -War room where Jyn Erso is recruited -Ceremony hall with updated Celebration Luke,Han, and Leia (maybe using the Olympic medal piece from the Collectable Minifigures Each could probably retail for about 25 to 40 USD. Â Honestly, I don't think LEGO will ever choose this route, but it would be nice if they did. Â Imagine 75098 done right (i.e. a substantial command center with multiple screens, seats, and equipment; a detailed medical bay, etc.)

We never got a proper plain phase two clone trooper battle pack. 212th is cool and I still need to get a couple regulars from them but we should've got more. Geonosis phase two, really? First world problems but hey.  Â

I like the red/blue x-wing idea.  Call the set Rebel Squadron X-wing Starfighter.  For the minifigures, how about Red Leader, Red Five, Blue Leader, Blue Squadron Pilot, and two astromech droids.  That would make it similar in size to the two TFA X-wings ($80).  I would expect to see the Rebel leadership minifigures to appear in the larger or capital ships, like a Hammerhead Corvette, or Tantive IV (which ought to include a new young Leia).

February 16, 20178 yr After seeing the first "Last Jedi" image of Rey, do you think we will be getting a new mold for her hair?
February 17, 20178 yr Another set they need in the future, is an update of the Boga lizard from Ep.III. Unfortunately, with all the new star wars content coming out, stuff from the prequel era are likely to stick to only a couple new sets a year.
February 17, 20178 yr The biggest disappointment is that Poe is the same as in TFA! I know he's a pilot so his pilot suit makes sense, but Luke also was a pilot and had different outfits in the movies, but I guess Poe could still have some normal clothes. Finn still has Poe's jacket( didn't Kylo destroy it along with Finns spine?) but he now has white undershirt ( symbolic as he was wearing black Stormtrooper undershirt in TFA). Rey looks like she's still wearing her Resistance outfit from finale of TFA and has new hairstyle (new mold for her minifigure?). Â
February 17, 20178 yr Finn fighting in a floating wheelchair would be nice. He'll turn morbidly obese by episode IX and will demand to be called Baron Harkonnen. There's your antagonist for the next trilogy. In all seriousness though I really don't like the new box art; Force Awakens and Rogue One nailed it but this one is barely stylised... and white and red?
February 17, 20178 yr I'd like a set with a Boga lizard(as previously mentioned) and a clone cannon(like the one that shoots the Boga lizard). It could include Obi-Wan, Commander Cody, a clone, and a magnaguard. Maybe even a few battle droids could be added. Probably around $40 USD, even $60 if they went all out on the Boga lizard and threw in a couple more minifigs.

The minifigs could be Obi-Wan, General Grievous with a cape, Commander Cody, and a Battle Droid. Would probably be around $45 USD (like this year's A-wing). We need Shmi in a set too. Maybe something like a $30-40 USD Anakin's Podracer set with Anakin, Shmi, and Kitster.

February 19, 20178 yr I'm really hoping the other 2017 summer exclusive is Jango's Slave 1. Â We are getting Obi-Wan's Episode 2 Star-fighter which we haven't received (I think) since 2002, the same goes for Jango's Slave 1, so lets hope they do the same with that.

There's your antagonist for the next trilogy. Um...I sort of get the Dune reference, but just...what?  Anyway, I'd like to see a mini Y-Wing polybag.  After building the new 75172, it just occurred to me that we've never had a standalone mini Y-Wing (it's only been in Advent Calendars or sold in separate "bonus" pieces from the original Mini wave back in 2003). Or better yet, bring back the Planet Series.  That would really make me happy!   Scarif with TIE Striker, Eadu with U-Wing, Planet Yavin with Y-Wing, Jakku with Quadjumper, Starkiller Base with...whatever.  Now that there's no end in sight for Star Wars, I could see the Planets returning in a few years...maybe.
February 22, 20178 yr Since 2015 releases have been like this: january: winter wave june: summer wave september/october: movie wave Instead of one big summer wave we saw some around june and the rest of the wave on Force Friday (a wave with nothing but sets from the new, upcoming movie) Now that the Solo movie will be released in may 2018 I wonder how they're gonnna do things.... january 2018: winter wave (TLJ sets...plus some OT/PT/Rebels/RO) and then....a summer wave with Solo sets (and sets from the other movies) in june? Or may? With TFA, RO and TLJ the sets were released months before the movie was released....if they're gonna do the same with the Solo movie they would have to do it in the winter wave. As we all know the winter wave is small and doesn't have the big sets like the summer waves have. Also, they'd have 2 waves in a row with nothing but sets from a new movie and little or no room for TLJ sets in the winter. (I assume there will be 5-7 sets from the Solo movie). I wonder how TLG will handle this. Thoughts? Edited February 23, 20178 yr by Jedi-Bendu typos

Yeah it's Star Wars, and yeah it might make a ton of money, but I'm pretty sure this has been the least anticipated of all the Disney films. So I think it could possibly fall in with Ant-Man and Doctor Strange where it only gets one or two sets rather than a full wave. If it does get a full wave though, I think the normal release schedule will be thrown off and maybe even switch with Marvel Superheroes. Jan. 1st - 3 sets (TLJ or older films) March 1st - 3 sets (Han Solo Film) and June 1st - 4-5 sets (Older films as well) I just can't honestly see them releasing 7 or so sets for the Han Solo Movie. I just hope it opens up some space for them to go back to older movies and deliver some really nice sets without having to worry about new big movies. 2017 is a pretty even year I'd say, with at least one set coming out from every movie released so far (even the Clone Wars and Rebels both got sets). Not counting buildable figs, battle packs, or microfighters we have 1 from Ep. 1, Potentially one from Ep. 2 (Obi-wan's Jedistarfighter), 1 from the Clone Wars, 2 from Ep. 3, 2 from Rogue One, 1 from Rebels, 1 from Ep. 4, 1 from Ep. 5, 2 from Ep. 6, and 2 from Ep. 7. I think the variety is pretty amazing. And they will only have more and more to do in the future, so I think a break would be nice and maybe we could get some wishlist sets or something.
February 22, 20178 yr All three Force Fridays have been (or in the case of TLJ) will be released 3 months before the films cinema release. Assuming Lego follow this through foe the Han Solo film, I suspect we may get a wave in February or (More likely) the Han Solo wave is shared/replaces the January Wave.
February 24, 20178 yr I don't really know anything about the new Han Solo movie (well, I guess no one knows too much), but I would hope to see the following sets in the 2018 wave, mostly because they have great OT/Rogue One crossover potential, just like how people were excited to get an AT-ST and a Y-Wing from the RO sets.  Not too creative, perhaps, but just stuff that I've missed and/or needs an update: Imperial Star Destroyer Han's "outrun Imperial starships--not the local bulk cruisers, mind you, [...] the big Corellian ships." This set could be a minor update from the 2014 version; maybe larger, about the size of the 2006 ISD.  Minifigures would depend on the new movie, but it would be great if we could get some of those Imperial officers from 75159 in a set that's not $500.  Estimated cost: 140 USD. Imperial TIE Fighter Yes, just a standard OT TIE Fighter, which I think would sell really well, and which I think will probably appear in some capacity in the Han Solo movie.  The 2012 version really needs an update, and while it seems easily MOD-able (I don't own the set), a new TIE would go along well with the recent Advanced and Striker models.  Obviously it would feature the new-ish hatch canopy pieces, and...inevitably...spring-loaded missiles.  If possible, I would like to see a TIE pilot helmet with molded oxygen hoses (like the TFA minifigures).  If that would be too fragile, I must admit that I would even be happy with a rubber mold for the helmet, which would probably be more durable.  Estimated cost: 60 USD, or 70 USD if they include filler builds and/or rare figures.
