Future Star Wars Sets

Remembered yesterday that a rumoured set earlier this year was a droid factory based on the clone wars. The I thought if it was real that maybe the TLC delayed it for a year and changed it do its based on episode 2. I remember reading somewhere that it was rumoured to contain poggle the lesser but I really hope it has a c3po based on attack of the clones : )

It would make more sense to be from EP. II, as the factory was featured more prominently there than in TCW.

I strongly believe they are going to make some Episode 2 sets in 2013, with the movie coming and lack of sets for ages. But... do you think they should use the clone wars clones, the old Episode 2 clones or a new episode 2 clone. There is a difference between the clone wars and episode 2 clones, but a small one. IMO I want them to use Clone Wars clone, that way my army gets bigger and I don't end up getting 3 different armies of clones.

I'm hoping for a reek a nexu and an ackalay also an update on all previous ep 2 figs like jango and anakin but I want them to add c3po in dull grey, padme, poggle and a update dooku and yoda. Yoda needs a non clone wars printed figure!! The main sets I want are a new republic gunship and at te I missed both versions and the resale on both of them are crazy

Here are the figures I'm hoping for:

-New versions of all the original figures (Anakin, Obi-Wan, Dooku, Jango, Zam, Young Boba Fett, Geonosian, Phase I Trooper, and Geonosian Battle Droid)

-Other Jedi (I'm not a fan of the CW versions)

-Captain Typho

-Padme in the Geonosian arena outfit

-Kaminoan (Taun We)

-Poggle the Lesser

As far as vehicles, I'm not a big fan of any of the ones from AotC. A new Republic Gunship would be neat, but since a CW version came out a few years ago I don't think that's too likely.

Non-CW figs, sure, though I somehow doubt they'd come up with different Phase I clones.

I'd rather like few decent vehicle re-dos, a properly small and pointy Delta-7, Jango's Slave I or an update of the speeder chase. Or maybe some that haven't been done before, the Royal Starship or a Hardcell transport.

I dont think they should use P1 clones, or for that matter, any otehr clones/troopers other than the episode they are supposed to belong with, or it just gets a bit mindless as to what episode they are actually trying to achieve...

I'd like to see both versions of Geonosis Padme released - one for the droid factory and another for the arena.

Hopefully they won't get lazy like they did with the Clone Wars figure and actually give her a new hairpiece this time. A new bun piece would surely get plenty of use not only for Geonosis Padme but also TPM Padme, Clone Wars Padme and even other themes like City.

Given the recent annoucement and the final episodes of the Clone Wars, we can expect to probably see a Droid VS Nightsister battlepack and maybe some sets from the upcoming episodes...Ventress...Grevious...I'm also hoping for a Young Bounty Hunter Boba Fett minifig and a new Dengar.

Ooh, yum! I am sure the designers would have fun with Mother Talzin especially.

I'm curious as to what has become of the Midi scale... What more can we expect in this scale, if anything at all? I think that the big, tall, Mandalorian Coronet would work rather well, as might the Falcon-predecessing Ebon Hawk. AND they would expand the scale to embrace the Clone Wars and Old Republic eras, whereas the last (and only) two we had were undeniably Original Trilogy-types.

One last comment (to avoid me double-posting later): there NEEDS to be a Kamino set with those damn Kaminoans and their awesome chairs. And seabirds.

Geonosian arena would be awesome, although i would rather see all 3 animals. Windu could always be in another set such as AOTC jedi rescue - the assualt ship they come in (not sure of its name) Windu, Ki adi Mundi, Yoda and some clones perhaps.

A final duel set would be cool with Dooku, Yoda, Obi Wan and Anakin ( Yoda with face printing and the same colour as the new Jabba and Nute Gunray) dookus solar sailer and a pillar. Price around £35. Not to keen on a new slave one Unless it has a good four figs it could have Jango, Boba, Tan Weand Lam Su. Then remake obi wans starfighter with a new R4 head and maybe dexter jetster. I know he was ever in a scene with the starfighter but he tells Obi Wan about Kamino and it would be cool to get an different character for a change. On a seperate note I noticed that the astromech in the tinn saese starfighter has a pear silver dome and I want R2-D2 to get this. Who knows in a couple of years there maybe a chrome R2 head as a promotion : )

I like the idea of a TCW Battle of Kamino play set. LEGO can introduce Aqua Droids, Trident Drills (that can deploy Aqua Droids) a Clones Barracks and/or Armory, some Clone Cadets, re-release Shaak-Ti.

I would like to see an ep 2 clone battle pack (back to the 4 of one side type) hopefully they will be the same as the CW troopers so I can combine the armies. I would also like a droid battle pack as I don't actually have that many droids even though they should out number the clones. It would be cool to have 3 droids 1 SBD and 1 droideka. I hope they make clone troopers the same as the CW ones because we will probably only be seeing phase 2 clones from now on in CW sets

Best way to get large increase in droids is to buy the 7929 Battle of Naboo. Droid transport vehicle, with 10 droids, for max, £25, but often on offer on Amazon for £15, so very cheap 'battle pack' with decent amount of droid lego!

What do you mean by "Zygerrian Starfighter"? Slave Anakin? Why is there a Tactical Droid in the Umbaran Starfighter? It should be an Umbaran Soldier.
