WampaStomper Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Or it could be one of TLG's made-up vehicles, like the BP ones. I think it's a made-up walker that's roughly based on the AT-RT. Either way, it's a nice walker, and it's closer to the AT-RT than the one in the Clone Walker Battle Pack. Hopefully there will be an Umbara BP in 2013 with a decent AT-RT plus some 501st and Umbaran forces. Quote
wesker Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 TLG WILL make a General Krell Minifig, so perhaps they will make a Dexter 'Fig. Where did you hear that? Redesigning Jango would mean reprinting the Mando helmet. Dooku is new head and torso prints. Same with Ani, Obi, Windu, Yoda, ETC. Kaminoan, Poggle the Lesser are the only ones that need new moulds. I'd imagine Obi-Wan will just be the ROTS with Boromir's hairpiece instead of the combover one. Quote
Fives Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Okay, I'm surprised that, after the finale of the CW, people haven't said anything about a cyborg Maul! That would be awesome! If they released a set with a CW Maul, with some special cyborg leg mold, it could also include a CW Obi-Wan (with some sort of redesign), a new Asajj (to match her bounty hunter costume), and then Savage. It could be the big junker turtle ship that Savage uses in those episodes, but the figures would definitely be the reason for the set. All I know is I really want a CW cyborg Maul! Quote
LEGOman273 Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Where did you hear that? I didn't, but I think that Krell is an important enough charcter to get a 'Fig. (We got Vebb, need I say more) Also, they could use (a modified version of) Lord Garmadon's arm-piece. Quote

I hope we'll see one that looks better than the recent "LEGO Toy Fair Exclusive 2012". Maul will return in Season 5, probably for at least one arc, which means for at least 2-4 episodes. The turtle thingy is pretty nice, but I hope for better vehicles than this Quote
LEGOman273 Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 I was clearly a AT-RT despite not looking like one, what other light two legged walkers are there? I meant that it did not look like one, and thus should not be refered to as one. Quote

I think there's a high chance he'll be coming next year. 2008 - Ventress 2009 - Count Dooku, Hondo, Nute Gunray 2010 - General Grievous, Cad Bane 2011 - Aurra Sing, Savage Opress, Classic Ventress 2012 - Pre Viszla Each year Lego always releases at least one new minifigure of the shows most prominant villains. Besides Maul the only other options for new characters are Mother Talzin and Young Boba Fett - and Boba is more likely to be part of an AOTC set than a CW one next year due to the film being re-released. Either that or Lego starts moving onto the standalone villains (Trench, Tamson, Krell etc) or gives us variations of previously released villains (Season 4 Bane/Ventress/Vizsla, Asassin Aurra etc) But I think Maul is most likely Edited March 23, 2012 by wesker Quote

It would be awesome for LEGO to make some new Phase II Clones. And if they're 501st clones, I couldn't even begin to estimate how many of them I would buy. I think that decent phase II clones would sell pretty well. The point is that there are so many different clones: We (well, at least I) want Rex and 501 clones, preferably in TCW style (well, at least me) and in PT style. We want Cody and his troopers preferably in TCW style and in PT style. We want Wolffe and his troopers (TCW style). We want Gree, Baccara, Fox, and Bly and their troopers (PT style resp. both styles). I think that if they are made well that'd be great. There are a few things, however, making me fear that this won't be the case: - I don't like the colour shape of the current Wolffe troopers. Sand blue doesn't look as decent as dark grey. However, I don't think that it will be changed. - The new ARC trooper was received pretty well by the audience. Thus, I fear that Lego might have no incentives to change the current pauldron system. The new pauldrons have some advantages regarding the possibility to combine the figure with backpacks. However, they simply don't look as decent as plastic made pauldrons. Imagine Rex would wear a dark grey pauldron (only on one side, of course) of the kind the new ARC trooper wears. Maybe there are people who like it, but I wouldn't. - I think the helmet of the new ARC was hyped as well. I have to admit that generally, they caught the shape pretty well. However, compared to the old phase II helmets or the current Sandtrooper helmets, the mold (not the printing) lacks details. I hope this will be corrected as well. Quote

Phase II 501st Clones would be in Umbara sets which I'm sure TLC will make. Phase II 212th Troopers probably won't be made unless they are important in some of Season Five. Phase II Wolfpack? TLC is probably just going to chuck them in a random set that they have nothing to do with in the show like TLC did with the Phase I Wolfpack. As for all the others, they'll probably pop up somewhere(eventually). Note: All of these are what I think TLC will do, not what I want Quote
Poison Ivy Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Eh. Not much that I can think of off the top of my head, but an Acclamator or Venator UCS would be nice. Quote

WampaStomper Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Phase II 212th could be in an Umbara set. As far as I remember, they only appear in the scenes of Carnage of Krell where the 501st attacks them and when they hunt down Krell, and I can't see TLC making a set of either of those scenes, though I suppose that with Random Figure Placement Policy TLC could throw one in a BP or something. eric729 Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 (edited) The Turtle Tanker It would come with Savage Opress, Darth Maul (redesigned),Morly (the snake-thing) and maybe a nightsister Maybe soon LEGO will make a longer lightsaber for people with a double bladed Edited March 26, 2012 by eric729 Quote

Darth Nihilus Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 I was thinking that they would use RFPP. Most likely. I would love this though: Battle of Umbara UCS Includes 12 minifigures: Anakin Skywalker, General Krell, 2 501st Legion Clone Troopers, 2 212th Battalion Clone Troopers, Captain Rex, Fives (ARC Trooper), Dogma, Hardcase, 501st AT-RT Driver, and Waxer Vehicles: AT-RT, Umbaran Starfighter Locations: 3 different vignettes: Tower Command Center with computers, Krell's seat. Road to the Capital with 'exploding' ground function & AT-RT. Landing Pad with Umbaran Starfighter, crates. Imagined price point: $200-$300. Imagined parts: 2,000-3,000. Not gonna happen. Quote

I like your idea for this Battle of Umbara UCS. With the 3 locations that you chose, I could see each one being broken down into individual sets. How about a UCS Republic Gunship that can deploy an AT-RT the same way they were deployed in the show. I know that's a dream but it would be nice. Quote

I'm pretty sure we'll see a Gunship in 2013 or 2014, and I think it'll feature an AT-RT. When I have the time, will think about modding the back of my bricklinked Gundship in order to maximize the extrance size, and how to integrate an axis into the AT-RT from set 8098 in order to transform its vertikal extension into a more horizontal extension Quote

382nd Legionnaire Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 And the Mandorlian fighter I easily forget these because I do not consider them as Clone Wars. I mean the Clone Wars should be Clones vs. Droids and the sets are being pushed away from that. Mandalorians? WHo here wants to build a Mandalorian army? Not me and they are not true Mandalorians. I'll save my SW lore rant. Quote

Nom Carver Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 (edited) The lore regarding to the mandalorians has been extremely deformed, so as the rest of the clone wars history. I think its ok to get some new vehicles from the expanded universe instead of more clone wars crap. The only thing I am looking forward to is a delta squad battle pack since they made their appearance in the show. Edited March 26, 2012 by Nom Carver Quote
