Have we ever seen Republic Officers except for the Clone Wars animated series? And is there any difference in their uniforming from the later Imperial Officers?

No, I do not believe so.

There were a few small differences (Low-ranking officers on judicial vessels wear no rank insignia during the time of the Old Republic. This changes with the rise of the Empire., etc), but nothing that would prevent TLG (or MOCers) from simply re-using Imperial Officer torsos for Republic Officers.

Well, I cannot resist, which prototypes do you think will make it into sets? I bet the trident is a certainty but I worry that Watto bust is not very probable, I doubt it would sell well.

Slave 1 is long overdue, but I think it (including Jango and Boba) will come out with the Episode 2 in 3D. I would wager on that

Sateen is in my opinion also probable, question is if she comes in a small or big set.

Cantina playset is strongly demanded by us AFOL fans, but I am not sure if it would sell well. My idea is that it will come out as either some kind of exclusive or at least a limited edition. It would be a product with uncertain return from sales when considering the probable high cost of minifigs and (fingers crossed) bantha.

Mustafar base is IMO probable not earlier than Episode 3 in 3D, because we just had Anakins starfighter and mainly because I cannot much imagine what would lego make from Mustafar without Anakin/Vader, Obi-Wan and Dunray. I do not think they would make the separatist headquarters with minifigs to be slaughtered... The only possibility would be Padme's ship, but I do not consider that likely - I simply dont think lego would make a pregnant woman (I even heard its some kind of their policy and thats said to be the reason they had not made a CW Padme minifig for such a long time). But her starship would be a dream come true, I dont deny that.

Sadly I think the actual sales of the two SWTOR ships will be almost moot to the decision as to whether to make more. The source material, the actual game, is doing extremely badly at the moment and is bleeding subscribers. I can't see any marketing or development team risking resources on subjects from it now. Maybe if there is already another ship in the pipe with the early 2013 sets. But that's probably going to be it, sadly. I really would love to have a D5 Mantis :(

I personally would like to see a set with Adi Gallia or Stass Allie (or both ), they are the jedi that we lack most and I hear that Gallia will get more screen time in the next season of CW, so therefore maybe in a possible set. Which vehicle would you like her to appear in?

My first guess for Battle Packs next year would be Phase 1 Clones vs Geonosians - based on this year's Geonosian Cannon, much in the same way that Ewok Attack was a precursor of the Endor BP (as was Echo Base of the Hoth BPs). If TLG follow the same template as this year then no doubt we'll see both factions in one box, leaving room for 2 more factions, presumably from the Original Trilogy.

However, as all bases have now been covered from Ep IV-VI (Tantive IV/Yavin, Hoth and Endor), perhaps we'll see the aforementioned AOTC BP alongside a Clone Wars pack (with Phase 2 Clones)?

I think a Geonosis Arena could work if split into multiple sets that could connect to each other. Something along the lines of the Uruk Hai army set.

Arena 2

- Includes Anakin, Mace, Jango and Padme

I see your point and agree with the idea, however I would like to see mainly some other Jedi, not just the main characters. I looked them up on wookiepedia and there are quite many for example: Pablo-Jill, Bultar Swan, Joclad Danva, Roth-Del Masona, Tarados Gon, Coleman Kcaj, Voolvif Monn, Roron Corobb and last but not least Coleman Trebor. I would like just one or two of them to appear.

My friend who is at comic con this week told me earlier thathe spoke to one of the Lego reps there and she told him that in January there will be some ep2 sets. I don't know how true that is but it is a possiblity since I think ep2 comes out next year in 3D.

Thanks for the hint! I would be very pleased to see some Episode II sets again. I & III got some attention in the past years, though not II. My money would be on a JSF or a mid-size arena playset. Just had a Slave I, gunship is too big (for January) and I am afraid TLC has to / wants to release mainly CW-clones.

No prob, looking at my collection I noticed that last year we got 4 ep1 sets And it's 5 with the gungan sub this year. So I'm taking a wild guess here but I think we'll get about 2 to 3 ep2 sets in the first wave next year.

Given that lego has updated the jabba minifigure is it possible that they could do an updated jabbas sail barge. I would guess it would be just the barge alone since the skiff and pit is already in one set. Furthermore there is a trend of episode VI sets that have been revealed or are coming out so far.

I'm really hope they do not make another LAAT/i. Rancor Pit is amazing, I'm hope the price will be OK, not as the 9500.
