And Vader makes more sense since he can cover both PT and OT stuff. I kind of like it but don't like it at the same time. There's been no word on whether it will carry into 2014 or not. Lucasfilm hasn't given a reason but I'd say its very likely they wanted to accelerate the re-releases to build up to Episode VII. I'm glad you posted this link, since I somehow missed seeing this thread originally. You've recreated the locations very well; however, I hesitate to think that Lego would go with a similar shape as the Death Star. Part of what makes 10188 work so well is that the shape of the set mimics the source material perfectly. Cloud City would be tougher to tackle. Quote

But I fear if they would make the arena they might make three or two sets for the main battle area one for each creature or maybe a pack with two of them and then one creature on its own, (Maybe the reek with the nexu since the reek slays the nexu. But I hope they only make one set for the geonosis arena,(maybe containing the scenery template peice to build on such as the one in the Indiana Jones 4:Akator Set), and also being made with your droid factory idea that could be connected to it ,(possibly to the main arch which most of the battle droids use to enter the arena). Galaxy Explorer Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 We are long overdue for some Bespin themed sets! Right now there is a Lobot figure available and that's it. I would like to see a new Cloud Car. It could easily fit the $25-30 price bracket and come with four figs- Two pilots, a Guard, and Leia in her dinner gown. A Cloud City playset would be very welcome. I think the best way to go would be a DTC set priced at $150 like Diagon Alley. It wouldn't need to be as big as the Death Star, nor would it even need to be shaped like Cloud City. Just a nice arrangement of the key scenes much like the 2003 version with more detail. I hope we see a few more AOTC sets as well. I've mentioned an Arena set before, and would love to see an updated Speeder Chase scene. I could see that being a TRU exclusive: Two speeders, Padme's apt. with break-thru window and Obi-Wan launcher, and a small section of the nightclub. Figures would include Ani, Obi-Wan, Zam, R2-D2, Assasin Droid, Padme, and the Death-Stick peddler! LEGO probably wouldn't do him, though. Still, Jabba has his water bong. Quote

Three playsets, each a circular arena with a pillar and gate for the creatures to enter through, and spectator's stands. You can combine them all to make a massive arena. Also, there could be Jedi in disguise (with hoods like Barriss Offee's) and their regular hair. 1. Includes: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ki-Adi-Mundi (non-CW) in disguise, Agen Kolar in disguise, 2 Geonosian battle droids and Acklay. 2. Includes: Anakin Skywalker, Barriss Offee in disguise, Geonosian jockey, Geonosian guard, Reek and one of those beasts the Geonosians ride (would appreciate it if someone told me what they're called) 3. Includes: Padme Amidala, Mace Windu in disguise, Count Dooku, Nute Gunray, Super Battle Droid and Nexu. It could also have the 'royal box' that Count Dooku and co. stand in. Quote

As rots is next in line for new sets to join the ones released in 2012! Judging by the aotc range this year I would wager that rots is next.I'd like to see padme's shuttle on mustafar to really recreate the scene from rots when anakin and obi wan meet and begin the duel perhpas with a cloaked obi wan and a pregnant padme i'd imagine a price about £29.99.Minifigures: obi wan,anakin,padme,artoo and c3po. I'd also like to see obi's starfighter from the opening space battle of rots maybe with anakin's yellow starfighter and a less happy version of anakin but not evil with perhaps one side of his face a commlink same with obi then perhaps a tri fighter in there to complete the set. Price £39.99 minfigs:anakin,obi wan and two buzz droids. For a big set its obvious that for this range a jedi temple would be best.This would have to be price about arkham asylum in the superheroes range so about £129.99. It would have to make up the exterior look of the temple but as sets based on large buildings do it would have to not be truly to scale (minifig wise) The main building would have to be the large hall area with a few small rooms off the side of it like the library and the place where yoda teaches younglings. Minfigs:Obi wan kenobi,general greivous new rots version,commander cody(phase 02),two 212th battalion clones and one superbattledroid and one regular bd. For clone wars it would be brilliant to see sidious from the clone wars design recently shown in the clone wars episode "the lawless".Perhaps in a set with his cw shuttle and maul and savage maybe maul will have his new more human like legs in this set.Sidious could have a shadow printed on the top half of his face so his eyes look shaded by the hood with perhaps a scowl and the other side of his head could be without the shade with an evil smile. I would love to see them do it, and it would be a perfectly logical place to introduce two figures that LEGO fans have been wanting for years: the Kaminoans! They could be included in the set because the context makes sense, although they actually wouldn't have a place IN the actual set, much like Gunray in last years Jedi Interceptor. They could make Taun We and Lama Su, do a good job of them, and then never have to touch on them again. And the other figs could be Obi, Jango and young Boba, who would all be remakes of this years figs. Quote

It would be nice if LEGO made two Tusken based sets. One from AOTC, one from ANH. Junland Wastes: includes Luke (with a surprised face and an unconscious/asleep face), Ben, R2 and two Tuskens, along with a Bantha. The set could be a new version of the Landspeeder and the little rock bit R2 hides in. Simple set. Likely $30-$40 Tusken Camp Attack: includes Anakin (AOTC, with sad/upset face and an angry face, an AOTC version of ROTS Anakin's angry face), Shmi (with a tired/happy face and an "asleep" face), along with two Tuskens, one male and one female. Maybe a child as well. And maybe a Massif. The set would be Anakin's red swoop bike, a couple of tents with some detail inside, and a fire pit. Likely $30-$40 Along with these needed Tusken sets, I think we should get a remake of the Bounty Hunter Pursuit. Coruscant Chase: includes AOTC Anakin and Obi-Wan, Zam Wessel (special helmet mould that has her purple veil detachable like a helmet visor, along with an alternate Clawdite face), and the centipede droid thing, with a place for Obi to hang onto. Set would be majorly updated versions of Zam's and Anakin's speeders. $25-$30 Now for some more quick ideas for sets that would be cool to see, but don't really introduce too many new figs. Dooku's Fate: includes ROTS Anakin, Dooku, and Palpatine in his grey robes. Set would be the steps and chair that Palpatine is held on, along with a few other things, similar in style to the new Geonosis Duel set. $30-$40 Wookiee Catamaran: includes Tarful (printed eyes), Chewie (printed eyes), non-CW Luminara Unduli, Commander Gree, Kashyyk trooper, two SBDs, three BDs. Set would be a heavily updated Catamaran. $60-$80 Grievous Pursuit: includes ROTS Obi, ROTS Grievous (CW body/limbs with a more movie accurate head, and maybe a cape), set would be an updated Wheelbike and a nicely molded and detailed Boga. $25 Separatist Crab Droid: includes Commader Cody, a 212th Airborne trooper and a basic 212th trooper, two BDs. Set would be a decently sized Crab Droid, and maybe a little missile launcher thingy for the clones. $30 Quote
