wesker Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 I'd love to see a small set based on Yoda's duel with Sidious. It would include the Emperor (brown hood, new torso), Yoda, 2 red guards and a Senate pod. I'd love a Senate Duel set. I prefer to get Mas Amedda and Bail Organa over 2 red guards though. Both characters are well overdue for a minifigure. Quote
mechamike Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Lars Homestead: Includes the Homestead,Bantha, 2 Tusken Raider, Uncle Owen, Luke, Aunt Beru. >I second that and top it with a Tusken raider , Jawa Battle pack. with some nice dktan tan terrain and some droid parts to fight over.. Quote
Zzz Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 If the rumour about Ewok Village for 2013 is true, we do really need a new set for the Imperial forces in 2014. We simply got the (great) TIE in 2012 and a few troops in 2012 and 2013 and a speeder bike here and there. Bring on ISDs, Shuttles, Landing Crafts, TIEs - TLC! Quote
Faefrost Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 If the rumour about Ewok Village for 2013 is true, we do really need a new set for the Imperial forces in 2014. We simply got the (great) TIE in 2012 and a few troops in 2012 and 2013 and a speeder bike here and there. Bring on ISDs, Shuttles, Landing Crafts, TIEs - TLC! I think we are due for a new Tie Interceptor or a Darth Vader Tie advanced. if we do get the Ewok set than we may see one or two smaller 2014 sets to compliment it. Maybe a nice ATST? Or an Imperial Shuttle with Han, Luke Leia etc in Endor gear? And of course a set with yet more Imperial Speeder bikes, cause we just never get enough of those. I think TLG runs a little bit into a wall when dealing with the Imperial centric sets. The vehicles and characters are a slightly limiting factor. Imperial vehicles and troops are seen in vast uniform quantity. So you don't see different configurations or paint schemes on a Tie Fighter. You don't get the colorful trims and personalizations you see with the Clones. And in the entire OT I think there are only 6 or so named Imperial characters. And aside from Vader and the emperor most of them are kinda look alike dull. And yes I know all of this is what makes the Empire fantastic for an Army builder. But it does cut into some of the set variety and inventiveness sometimes. Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 We'll definitely be getting at least one more speeder bike... TLG took a classic SW fig and made it 10x better when they threw the black arms and legs and new torso print on that biker scout, as seen in the upcoming Advent Calendar. He's perfect, and I expect to see him in additional sets. probably within the Village set itself but who knows? Quote
augustus Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 What probability is there to see Adi Gallia? With the jedi starfighter line, do you think its possible to have her starfighter? I would certainly welcome her bright red sf. Quote
North Lego Star Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I don't know if anyonehas noticed, but there is a new lego short movie on their website now that shows holographic images of a TIE Interceptor so hopefully this is a little hint form lego that we'll be getting one next year. If so, hear are my predictions on how it turn out... -Imperial TIE Interceptor: TIE Pilot, Admirial Piett, Imperial Protocal Droid, TIE Display Stand-39.99$ Thanks for Reading! Quote
Only Sinner Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 -Imperial TIE Interceptor: TIE Pilot, Admirial Piett, Imperial Protocal Droid, TIE Display Stand-39.99$ Now, there's one for the shelf, right in front! That would be most excellent with the new tie style. Quote

wesker Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 (edited) Here's a couple of neat set ideas I found browsing Cuusoo (I take no credit for them) Trade Federation Landing Craft - http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/36297 Theed Palace playset - http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/34791 Padme's Apartment with Jedi Interceptor - http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/38266 Combinable Battlepacks - http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/19411 Edited May 6, 2013 by wesker Quote
Seaber Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 We're due a TIE Interceptor, upgraded to the new grey designs, as well as the TIE Bomber. Perhaps the TIE Bomber could be made customiseable, in the small way the X-Wing can be made into two designs by making the 'bomb bit' removable, and add in a seat or two to make it a TIE Shuttle. This appeared in ESB. Bomber: http://www.therpf.com/attachments/f10/captain-needas-shuttle-esb-bomber.jpg-55105d1306867022 Shuttle: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/TIE/sh_shuttle?file=Shuttle_front.jpg Pretty easy and wouldn't take up many new parts. Could give us a TIE Pilot, Imperial Pilot and Captain Needa (or any other Imperial Really) I think a new B-Wing would be sweet as well, it would complete the Rebel ships, being the only one of the main six (A-Wing, B-Wing, X-Wing, Y-Wing, Snowspeeder, Millennium Falcon) not to be redesigned recently. Home One or a GR-45/75 medium transport would be cool too. It would be cool to get a Hoth Shield Generator set, and the give the Hoth sets a rest for a few years, having virtually produced every character and vehicle seen here. Endor would be nice to see an Ewok Village with the Ewoks, Endor Han and Village Leia, and an Imperial landing pad and transmitter dish with speeder bikes, Imperials, Vader and Luke. Tatooine is sorted for sets from RotJ, but from ANH there is still so much potential here. Dagobah could feature an updated flesh Luke, printed Yoda and include Yoda's Hut and the Cave. Quote
Chills Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 +1 to the updated TIE Interceptor and TIE Bomber. We need new ones along the same lines as the new TIE Fighter (sturdy and better colors). I would also love to see an Ewok village, and a new Dagobah scene. What would really be cool is a UCS Nebulon B frigate or Mon Cal cruiser. Both are cool ships that have a lot of potential as LEGO sets. Quote

Borex Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 With all those Battle of Geonosis sets coming out recently there's room for ships like the SPHA-T (with off course an exclusive jedi) or a Trade Federation Core Ship or Techno Union Starship. Quote
miles teg Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 How about some 'Order 66' battlepacks ? Yoda + 2 clones + a wookie. Included with a small Kashyyk command post + escape pod. Aayla Secura (?) + three clones includes small tank/speeder. Senator Organa (?) + two clones + Jedi youngling, includes landing platform OR small airspeeder. General Kenobi + commander Cody and two regular clones. Includes Kenobis Boga (?)mount and/or small cannon. Anakin/Vader +a clone + two random Jedi / or two jedi younglings. Includes a small corridor set. Ki Adi Mundi + two clones +super battledroid. Includes bridge scenery section. Id buy theses @£15-20 gbp ! The clones in each set could be from different legions with armour decals to signify which. The included vehicles only need be small sets, the rebel scout speeder type. You could build an awesome diorama if you collected the series ! Quote

Dragonfire Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 I'd like a small (about £20) Yoda's Hut update, with the Yoda fig that is coming in the Duel on Geonosis, plus a flesh Luke and R2 with green swamp weed printings. We have too many plain R2s; time for a change. Besides, an AOTC Tatooine Hut, with Owen Lars, Beru Lars, Padme in her AOTC Tatooine outfit with shawl, and silver C-3P0. All we get in SW these days are war-based sets. Quote
Seaber Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 (edited) I've based this list on previous waves and I think it looks fairly plausible. There are very few new molds and sets are often grouped in waves by the films they appeared in. Wave 1 (OT only): Stormtroopers & Rebel Soldiers Battle Pack - 2 Stormtroopers and 2 Rebel Soldiers - with Tantive IV corridor - £12 Yoda's Hut - Yoda, Luke (vest), R2-D2 - Boxes representing Luke's Camp and small Yoda hut with bed and kitchen - £20 The Cave - Luke (shirt), Darth Vader with reversible Luke face and broken helmet, Ben (ghost, somehow?) - £20 TIE Bomber/Shuttle - TIE Pilot, Imperial Pilot, Captain Lorth Needa, Mouse Droid - £50 Wave 2 (OT only): TIE Interceptor - TIE Pilot, Storm Trooper, Death Star Gunner (http://images1.wikia...star_gunner.jpg), Imperial Technician (http://images3.wikia...NavyCrewmen.jpg) - £50 B-Wing - B-Wing Pilot, Nien Numb, Astromech Droid, Rebel mechanic - £50 Ewok Village - Endor Han, Ewok Village Leia, Chewbacca, C-3PO, 3 Ewoks, Endor Trooper - Features net trap, floating chair, rotating spits and Imperial helmet drums - £100 These two waves are based upon the sets released in 2012, roughly the same prices. Wave 3 (OT only): Cloud Car - 2 Cloud Car pilots, Lobot, Bespin Guard - £25 Imperial Shuttle and Landing Pad - Luke (in black http://media.theiapo...?cdn=1368284162), Darth Vader, 2 Stormtroopers, Biker Scout, Imperial Pilot - Landing Pad, Speeder Bike, Imperial Shuttle - £60 Wave 4 (OT only): Lars Homestead - Luke, Owen, Beru, R2-D2, C-3PO, GNK droid, Treadwell Droid - Kitchen, dining area, workshop, moisture vaporators and skyhopper - £50 Mos Eisley - Luke(in poncho http://www.freewebs....poncho_2-01.jpg), Ben, Han, Chewbacca, Wuhur, Modal Nodes, Sandtrooper, Garidian, Dewback, 2 aliens - Cantina with moisture vaporator and a speeder. These waves are based upon the sets released in 2013, roughly the same prices. Ewok Village and the Landing Pad are similar to Jabba's Palace and Rancor pit in that they can be connected. Wave 5 (OT only): Hoth Shield Generator and Ion Cannon - Hobbie, Hoth Rebel Soldier, 2 Snowtroopers - Ion cannon made from planet sets pieces with shield generator - £30 Sandcrawler - Luke, Ben, R2-D2, C-3PO, 3 Jawas, 2 Tusken Raiders, Bantha, 3 Droids - Sandcrawer and Ben's Hut - £100 Wave 6 (OT only): Cloud City - Luke, Han, Leia, Chewie, C-3PO, R2-D2, Lando, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Bespin Guard, Stormtrooper, Ugnaught - Landing Pad, Corridor, Dining Room, Living Quarters, Conveyor Belt Room, Interrogation Room, Carbon Freezing Chamber and the place where Luke and Vader fight - £130 These waves are based upon the sets released in 2011, roughly the same prices. Bonus figures, such as May the 4th promotions could include (the infamous) Lando in Han's clothes from the end of ESB, Ghost figs of Anakin and Yoda if an effective way of doing this is found, 4-LOM, Zuckuss, General Dodonna and Hand and Leia with the breathing apparatus they wear in the Space Slugs belly. I may have been a bit over zealous with the minifigures, but I think that otherwise the price suits the set pretty well. Edited May 11, 2013 by Seaber Quote

wesker Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Anyone else want to see another AAT? The Clone Wars version from 2009 was almost perfect, but I really like to get one in the tan colours from The Phantom Menace. Throwing in a Battle Padme, Boss Nass, Captain Tarpals or even an updated Naboo Soldier wouldn't hurt either. Quote
Only Sinner Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 A new AAT sounds great. Maybe an updated Flash speeder to go with it with some Naboo security volounteers too. Quote
HJR-Holland Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 A new AAT sounds great. Maybe an updated Flash speeder to go with it with some Naboo security volounteers too. In that case I'd rather go for a Gian speeder than a new Flash speeder :-) Quote
Zaeley Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I would definitely be up for a new AAT, I've been meaning to pick up one of the older ones for ages! Quote
