wesker Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 (edited) In that case I'd rather go for a Gian speeder than a new Flash speeder :-) Either one would be great. I just hope we see a couple more Episode I sets in the near future, because once Rebels and Episode VII role around chances are Lego is going to be done with the prequel era. Knightsword Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 I'm waiting away for the US Release, but already have my SWTOR character done. I hope it isn't the last TOR set as there is still the other 4 personal ships and the sith fighter to go. Quote

AudiBobaR5-D2 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Don't forget the Harrower class Sith Battlecruisers. We could use one of those. I was just thinking about that for the LEGO SWTOR theme, maybe whenever the winter wave is announced by TLG maybe the Sith Battlecruiser is one of them. And remind me, is the UK release of this years summer sets this June the 1st or later. Quote
legocaptainrexfan Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 i'd like the old republic battle cruisers Quote
Legoman123 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Does anyone think we could see the hound's tooth in the winter 2014 wave ? Quote
Gremer Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 I've never played TOR but the Hound's Tooth sounds really cool. Quote
Darth Lurtz Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 I've never played TOR but the Hound's Tooth sounds really cool. The Hound's Tooth is not from TOR, it belongs to Bossk. Quote
HJR-Holland Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Currently TLG is focussed on TOR, the movies and of course the new SW-Rebels series; slim chance of seeing a Hounds' Tooth from those profiles, and 2014 would be too soon I think... But let's see what happens :-) Quote

In theory the hounds Tooth, like Slave 1, is in use from the Clone Wars up through the OT era, so it may also appear in SW Rebels. Figure Rebels will include some Bounty Hunter love. If for no other reason than to finish off Boba's arc and get him into the armor. Quote

Gremer Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 (edited) I would love to see some new Wookiees, so I would love a new Kashyyyk defense set. With a catamaran. And a small spider droid. Maybe a hailfire droid. I'm already drooling at the thought of it. Edited May 28, 2013 by Gremer Quote
wesker Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Thats an awful lot of Clone Wars sets for a show thats recently been cancelled. I think we will see one or two sets, but most will be dedicated to the movies. I definitely see Cloud City happening next year, though part of the regular wave like Jabba's Palace was rather than an online exclusive. The Cloud Car will likely be released seperately like the Desert Skiff was. One set I think has a VERY good chance of appearing in next year's Winter wave is the B-Wing. 2012 gave us both the X-Wing and Y-Wing. 2013 gave us the A-Wing. This is the last one left in line for an update. General Lando and Nien Numb would be the likely candidates for exclusive figures. Quote

The Larger of the the two listed waves is the 2014 Year witch I think will really be the last year we get more than 1 to 2 CW sets. As for the Cloud City, I think it would be cool to get one in the regular wave, but there's just so much in Cloud City that I think it's best to see it as an Exclusive set. About the possible B-Wing, I think the main concern at this point is if the B-Wing will be included in the Star Wars Rebels show. If it is lego would probally want to save it until then and have it there. I don't relly know though, these are just some of my predictions based on wishes, but I think it would be great to get them as sets hopefully some day. I also nest year will probally be my last year investing my lego budget in the Star Wars theme, because it going to star turning into a total domination of Star Wars Rebels and Episode 7 sets. Quote
BrickG Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 They're going to be showing several episodes from thew would be season so there's no need to NOT have Clone Wars sets. We're getting like at least half a season of "straight to DVD" crap (probably will air on Disney XD first). So expect more of those sets. I too would like a B-Wing (minifigure scale). Also a Snowspeeder that doesn't suck but since we already have a new one of those it isn't happening. Seriously, the minfigure scale snowspeeders are terrible. Quote
Legoman123 Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 (edited) Honestly, I don't think we are going to see Jango fetts slave 1, because this summer was the best time to bring it out and they haven't, they have redesigned Jango and young Boba but yet no slave 1? Its lucking unlikely. I also think that Mos Eisley Cantina is not going to happen as it is a bar and lego are quite strict with that type of stuff, there is a small possibility, but it is highly unlikely. StoutFiles Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 they have redesigned Jango and young Boba but yet no slave 1? Yeah, I question how well the last Slave I sold. Granted, this would be a different color scheme, but I think TLG might hold out a while. Personally I hope the next Slave I is of the UCS variety, it's the most iconic ship that hasn't had the UCS treatment IMO. Quote

Wasn't it the brand new fighter, developed after Endor, when the Mon Cal joined up? At best we may see an earlier type ship that has a few similar design elements. I don't think they will skip the OT with the newer waves. Even with the movies coming out, hey always keep up support for the classics. Quote

Maybe Luke's Landspeeder as a smaller UCS set. I won't ever get a UCS set, but I do love seeing them :) I don't think we will be seeing much of the B Wing in Rebels. The B-Wing was put into development in 0ABY, a few months after the Battle of Yavin. It's possible we could see protoypes or a variation I guess. A-Wings (R-22 Spearheads), X-Wings (Headhunters, older X-Wing models) and Y-Wings are likely to appear though. Quote

The R-22's and X-Wings wouldn't be around untill about -2 to -1 BBY. Also R-22's only existed in the Droid's cartoon to explain the early appearances of the A-Wing in it. So it's possible it will be ignored. As for the X-Wing, Red Squadron's were the first ones built so yea it'll be Z-95's and Y-Wings. Though I'm hoping for the original s-foiled quad wing version of the Z-95, as the Clone Wars used the version that didn't come out untill after Clone Wars originally.* *Disclaimer: This is all from memory, so I'm likely off on a few details.
