Legoman123 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 (edited) There's no way, we'll be gettting Commander Cody in any battle pack, he's to valuable of a character to be sold in a 12 dollar set and lego knows that. If were lucky we'll see the new Cody in a 50 dollar set. Concerning predictions for the Summer Wave of 2014, here are my thoughts on what sets we'll get... Summer Wave: -Naboo Flash Speeder: Padme Amidalia, Captain Panaka, Naboo Royal Guard-19.99$ -Star Wars Rebels Set: 1 Hero Charcters, I Villain Character-24.99$ -Wookiee Ornithopter: Wookiee Warrior(x2), Clone Kashyyyk Trooper-24.99$ -Bespin Cloud Car: Lando Calrissian, Bespin Cloud Car Pilot, 4-LOM-29.99$ -Darth Vader's TIE Advance: Darth Vader(New), Ben Kenobi, Grand Moff Tarkin-39.99$ -Sepertist Shuttle on Utapau: Wat Tambor, Commander Cody, Magna Guard(x2)-49.99$ -Star Wars Rebels Set: 2 Hero Characters, 2 Villain Charcters-69.99$ -The Ghost: 3 Star Wars Rebels Hero Charcters, 2 Star Wars Rebels Villain Characters-89.99$ -Mos Eisley Cantina: Han Solo, Luke Skywalker(Poncho), Greedo, Ponda, Dr. Evazan, Bith Band Member(x2), Bothan Spy, Sand Trooper, Momaw Nadon, Dewback, Moister Collector-119.99$ -Clone Turbo Tank: Luminara Unduli, Gree's 41st Clone Trooper(x2), Clone Gunner, Security Battle Droid(x2)-139.99$ -(Toys R Us Exclusive)Darth Sidious' Shuttle Arrival on Mandalore: Darth Sidious, Darth Maul, Savage Oppress, Bo-Katan, Obi-Wan(Mandalorian Commando Armor), Dutchess Satine-89.99$ -(Target Exclusive) Sepertist Octuptarra Droid: Ki-Adi Mundi, Commander Bacara, Galactic Marine-39.99$ -(Lego Exclsuive)Rebel Transport Ship: Princess Leia(Hoth), General Reeikan, K-3PO, Rebel Trooper, R5 Astro Droid-149.99$ -(Lego Exclusive)Jedi Temple: Anakin, Ahsoka, Yoda, Mace Windo, Barriss Offee, Obi-Wan, Cin Dralling, Coleman Kjac, Shaak Ti, Tera Sinube, Jedi Temple Guard(x3), Katooni, Byph, Gungi, Jedi Air Speeder-249.99$ Thanks For Reading! Those sets sound amazing! but I highly doubt we would get two huge sets like the Jedi Temple and a Rebel Transport Ship. Edited August 27, 2013 by Legoman123 Quote
Tariq j Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Those sets sound amazing! but I highly doubt we would get two huge sets like the Jedi Temple and a Rebel Transport Ship. if TLG make the temple a playset like the ewok village and Death Star they might bring it out. Set Name: 501st BP Minifigures: 501st troopers (x3), 501st Clone commander. Description: This set contains a mini speeder with flick missiles and a mini base with computer screen, gun rack and flick missile. Set name: Attack on Mandalore Minifigures: Maul, Savage, Duchess Satine, Pre visula, Mandalorians (x2). Description: this set compromises of two buildings: Satines' Palace and a jail the jail contains three cells which can break open when lever is pulled, the palace has a throne and catapults to launch visula and Maul into the air to recreate their duel. TheBear Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 - Mos Eisley Cantina Minifigures: (Ben Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, C-3PO, R2-D2, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Greedo, 2x Sandtrooper, Bith musician) A new Greedo would be good, but I'd prefer to see more aliens in a Cantina set. I'd swap out the droids and sandtroopers for the bar tender (Wuher) and a few more aliens. They were able to introduce several new moulds in the recent Jabbas sets so this shouldn't be out of the question in terms of cost. Quote
Robert_88 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 (edited) I reall hope we will get the Mos Eisley Cantina soon. The first one was cute but it wasn't really a bar. Edited August 27, 2013 by Robert_88 Quote

I agree, the last set was essentially a room, a Landspeeder, and a Dewback. I also agree with TheBear about having more than just Luke, Obi-Wan, C-3PO, R2-D2, Han Solo, and Chewbaca (Out... Of... Breath... ). It's not bad to just throw in some random aliens, people would love that because there would be new species for MOCs, Custom minifgures, etc. Edited August 27, 2013 by Lego Spy Quote
Legoman123 Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 What about a Jedi Temple next year ? You know one huge set to end Clone Wars sets ? Just a thought. Quote
Tariq j Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 (edited) What about a Jedi Temple next year ? You know one huge set to end Clone Wars sets ? Just a thought. A playset like the ewok village or Death Star would be fantastic, it could include 12-17 figures which consist of Jedi and palace guards. It can include three main rooms: The council area, holocron vault and younglings training area, optionally they could have a council area and have different scenes from the temple like the DS. wesker Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 A Jedi Temple would be great, but I prefer one based off the Prequel Trilogy rather than the Clone Wars. I've had enough of the ugly anime faces and many of the Jedi could use updates to resemble their movie counterparts. Quote
Ritz Brick Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 I feel like if there were to be Jedi Temple set, it would be based around Episode III, that's where I see most of the playability and action stemming from that movie. Library, main hall for Anakin to march down, a landing pad, youngling training room, Jedi council meeting room. The only issue I find would be if they based it on Episode III. There might be overlap with the duel in Palpatines office. Quote
Tariq j Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 I'm sure this has been suggested before but should TLG do the temple like the jabba sets or a playset. A playset would be good but thinking about it there's a limit to how much a playset can do and include. A series of sets like the jabba ones would be good however the temple would not be as large as it could be. Quote
Ritz Brick Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 That's a good point. I feel like the temple would be a one time deal and it would have to be done pretty much perfect, or not done at all. There are just so many different scenes and minifigs that could be added. Quote
montgocloud Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I highly doubt that if LEGO would base a Jedi Temple set around Episode III. Massacre-the-Younglings-play-feature, anyone? Quote
Tariq j Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I highly doubt that if LEGO would base a Jedi Temple set around Episode III. Massacre-the-Younglings-play-feature, anyone? I suppose so, the clone wars TV series has more scenes from the temple than the prequals but I really don't want to see more CW figures. And personally, I would much rather have a temple with little features based on episode III than a temple with lots of features but full of CW figures. And of course there is always room for modding. I would love to see a cloud city playset, it could have a dining room, a junk room, a carbonite freezing chamber and a duel room and landing pad it could also feature a Bespin Pod car. Quote
wesker Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Is there any reason why the entire Jedi Temple set has to be based solely around one film? The Death Star took the best from both A New Hope and Return of the Jedi and combined it all in one neat package. Quote
BaneTheBrawler Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 I want to see a UCS Lucrehulk Battleship, and a GR-75 Rebel Transport. Transport could be UCS or regular. Quote
LEGOMAN132 Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 (edited) I would like to see a UCS or minfig scale Virago with Prince Xizor and Guri figures. Edited September 4, 2013 by LEGOMAN132 Quote

The CW however we see it more. Quote
Aethersprite Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I do hope we get a new, updated ARC-170. I missed the past 2 versions, and it'll be 4 years since its last release! Quote
aayla-secura Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I reall hope we will get the Mos Eisley Cantina soon. The first one was cute but it wasn't really a bar. I totally agree with you here. Almost every set got released at least 2 times... unfortunatley not Mos Eisly Cantina.. would love to see an updated Dewback :) Quote

The Death Star took the best from both A New Hope and Return of the Jedi and combined it all in one neat package. Because really only two things happen in the Jedi Temple in the movies. You have the "sitting on sofas, chairs and divans talking" play feature, and the "kill all the children" play feature. Oh and a minor "are you dumber than a 6 year old Padawan?" play feature. At least in the Clone Wars version you have the Bounty Hunters invading the temple to steal a Holocron. Direct conflict with Secret passages and air shafts and explosions etc. Quote
Tariq j Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I think with a Jedi temple set it's a question of "would you rather a set full of playability features but CW figures or a set with barely any features but SW figures" For me I don't know, as much as I want SW figures playability is always something that adds more to a set. I don't see why those would be mutually exclusive. CW figures cost money to include just like regular 'figs do and are minifigs just like the regular ones are; I see no reason why choosing to include one or the other would affect how many play features could be added. Basically we don't see much of the temple in the PT, therefore there arn't as many play features than can be added to this set, the CW TV series however includes multiple scenes from the temple which created dozens of play features, however everyone wants to see SW figures and not CW ones. You may be correct about the facts you state. However, the point is that TLG still could integrate features seen in TCW into a PT set. It's a simple design decision. Quote
montgocloud Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 (edited) Personally, I'd just like to see some nice OT sets! How about... Imperial Star Destroyer ($160): Darth Vader, Grand Moff Tarkin, Admiral Piett, Imperial Officer, Mouse Droid, Astromech, Stormtrooper (x2) Includes a large Star Destroyer with similar features to 6211 such as Vader's meditation chamber, a hologram of the Emperor, an armory, escape pod, and a small bridge. B-Wing Starfighter ($50-60): Rebel Pilot, Mon Mothma, Astromech Crix Madine or Lando (Episode VI clothing) . Includes the B-Wing Starfighter with opening wings and cockpit. Mos Eisley Cantina ($120): Luke Skywalker, Ben Kenobi, Han Solo, Greedo, Ponda, Wuthur, Bith, Sandtrooper. Includes a landspeeder and a large cantina with Jabba's Palace-esque structure.
