B-Wing Starfighter ($50-60): Rebel Pilot, Mon Mothma, Astromech. Includes the B-Wing Starfighter with opening wings and cockpit.

Now here's a good idea. This is something I could really see becoming a set. Done in the same way as the most recent A-Wing. One thing I would change is taking out the astromech for Crix Madine or some other rebel leader.

Mos Eisley Cantina ($120): Luke Skywalker, Ben Kenobi, Han Solo, Greedo, Ponda, Wuthur, Bith, Sandtrooper. Includes a landspeeder and a large cantina with Jabba's Palace-esque structure.

I like that idea. Maybe they could also include a member of the Cantina Band! ;)

That's what I meant by Bith! :grin: Sorry that wasn't clear. I was trying to be realistic about the figures, and I think including Wuthur (the bartender) is a BIT of a stretch. But, we did get Ree Yees this year so I guess anything is possible!

Good idea! I was at a bit of a loss to guess what other figures it would include so I just put Astromech. I think Crix Madine or Lando in his Episode VI outfit would work perfectly.

Sorry. I didn't read that :D

Personally, I'd just like to see some nice OT sets! How about...

Imperial Star Destroyer ($160): Darth Vader, Grand Moff Tarkin, Admiral Piett, Imperial Officer, Mouse Droid, Astromech, Stormtrooper (x2) Includes a large Star Destroyer with similar features to 6211 such as Vader's meditation chamber, a hologram of the Emperor, an armory, escape pod, and a small bridge.

B-Wing Starfighter ($50-60): Rebel Pilot, Mon Mothma, Astromech. Includes the B-Wing Starfighter with opening wings and cockpit.

Mos Eisley Cantina ($120): Luke Skywalker, Ben Kenobi, Han Solo, Greedo, Ponda, Wuthur, Bith, Sandtrooper. Includes a landspeeder and a large cantina with Jabba's Palace-esque structure.

Wow, these are really good ideas. We won't see a cantina set with any definitive architectual cues like that however; you know how sensitive some people are about that sort of thing. The interior is definately doable, though.

I would probably have to get at least two of those Star destroyers. That would be awsome sauce right there! :laugh: The B-Wing would be another essential addition to any proper rebel fleet. I feel bad that I missed out on the original releases of these sets and I would like the opprotunity to own some of these.

Also, how about a set to accompany the Ewok Village?

Battle of Endor ($50)-Princess Leia (Rebel camouflage), Han Solo (Rebel camouflage), Rebel Commando, Ewok, AT-ST pilot, Scout Trooper, Stormtrooper. Includes an AT-ST, Imperial Speeder Bike, a catapult, and a small tree.

I would be fine with a design mirroring that of 2011's Hoth Rebel Base. Just give it a bunch of arches and have bricks, plates, and stool pieces border the middle section to create the actual bar. Keep the various arches that outline the structure, but extend the base using rounded plates to represent the alcoves furnished with chairs and tables. Definitely doable. In fact, I would almost prefer it done in this way.

(Sorry for the double post)

No, I don't think so. Since they did a Battle of Endor set so recently I doubt they'd do another this soon.

I was planning something much different than 2009's Battle of Endor. I just called it the Battle of Endor because of the naming of the recent "Battle of Hoth" set. The set I was conceptualizing did not include a bunker. It's main feature is the AT-ST (much like the Battle of Hoth's main feature was the Snowspeeder).

Montyofmusic: Sounds like a good idea, I can see where you got the idea from, I would like to see a redesign of paploo seeing as he was missed out in the village.

Some of my ideas: I'm really into playsets it's a shame about the battle of hoth because it could have made into a bigger playset with more figures. Anyway I'd like either a Naboo playset with an MTT or a yavin base playset with stormtroopers, medal solo, medal skywalker, ceremonial leia etc. and yes stormies weren't featured there but to create some playability.

I'm still fairly angry that we didn't get that Yavin Temple set featured in the Visual Dictionary a couple years back... Who's idea was it to scrap that design? However, if there were to be set based off this iconic locale...

Yavin IV Temple ($200)-Luke Skywalker (flight suit), Han Solo (ceremony), Princess Leia (ceremony), General Dodonna, Biggs Darklighter (flight suit), Rebel Technician, Rebel Trooper, R2-D2. Includes a midi scale X-Wing, a small ground crew vehicle, and the Yavin IV Rebel base (with a watchtower overlooking the temple, a ceremony room, a small hanger bay, and a small planning room).

Gosh, was it really 2009? :look: Anyway, sorry about that :tongue:, I'd like an anti-bunker set too.

It's fine! I'd just like a set with an AT-ST to be completely honest

Same, that function on the village where the two hammers bash together could also be used for an AT-ST

Great idea, that could replace the small tree and catapult! Two medium sized trees that have the hammer functions. On the top of one, there is a catapult, and on the other, there's an area where the ewok could use the horn that we see at the start of the battle.

New idea!

Imperial Shuttle ($60)-Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, Imperial Shuttle Pilot, Imperial Guard. Includes Imperial Shuttle with wings that change positions by use of gears, landing gear, cockpit with seating for one, and small interior with seating for four.

Posted

Yep, another system-scale Imperial Shuttle has been talked about and requested. A few of us are crossing our fingers for one in the 2nd half of 2014

I think with that it could be possible due to the release of the Death Star Trooper/Imperial Guard battlepack. LEGO has been seeming to focus on Return of the Jedi since 2012.

Cloud City - $350, similar piece count as Death Star, 20 Minifigs

Luke {Bespin outfit, tan clothes with new ANH hair (from the Falcon and Hoth sets) in dark tan, double sided face, one side upset (no teeth showing), other side bruised and anguished}

Leia {Bespin dress and Prisoner outfits}

Han {blue ESB jacket and white shirt versions}

Chewie {new one from the ROTS set}

3P0

R2

Vader {completely new helmet, requires three separate pieces: neck guard thing with the lower tusks, mask that fits onto the head like a normal hat as well as into small notches on the neck guard for stability, and helmet that fits into the top of the mask like Tonto's bird. Also, back head printing with scars and stuff}

Lando {redesign of the old classic outfit, two colour cape}

Lobot

Boba Fett

Bespin Guards x2

Ugnaughts x2

Stormtroopers x4

The set itself could be done in a similar fashion to the Death Star, with multiple levels. However, they could do it the same way the did the old version, with everything on one floor. I haven't put a ton of thought into how to do it, but the scenes included would be: Carbon Freeze Chamber, the window and walkway where Luke loses his hand, Vader's dining room, Han and Leia's apartment room, Chewie's cell with the noise, Han's cell, perhaps a bit of the platform, and some of the main entrance.

Me too, which is why I'm holding off on buying 7166 on eBay until next year. :thumbup:

I know it's not necessarily needed, but seeing as it's been four years, they're bound to release ANOTHER one...

AT-AT Walker ($120)-Luke Skywalker (pilot), Rebel Trooper, General Veers, AT-AT pilot, Snowtrooper (x2). AT-AT walker includes a two seated cockpit with controls for the pilot and a sticker hologram of Darth Vader for General Veers. Also includes an opening midsection with a pull-out plate that features four seats and a gun rack.

Posted (edited)

Fives: Nice idea, not sure if lego would release four stormtroopers in one set but still a good idea.

Montyofmusic: An AT-AT would be nice I'd like to see general veers again it can also be combined with the hoth set earlier this year.

I feel that if we were to get an AT-AT, it would be a UCS set. I think a UCS AT-AT isn't a matter of "if," but "when."

See, I disagree. I might really want a UCS AT-AT, but it just isn't practical given how big and detailed it would have to be. It would probably be well over 4000 pieces to do correctly. And seeing how they rejected the Cuusoo UCS Sandcrawler for that very reason (immense size and detail), I don't think we'll see a UCS AT-AT for a while.
