Robert_88 Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 I'm curious if TLG will re-release further UCS sets. A Sandcrawler and ISD are on my wishlist :) Quote
montgocloud Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 (edited) I'm betting Lucasfilm (Disney) encourages a strong ANH push just before the new movie, to help get everyone amped and thinking about classic OT era Star Wars and characters, and less about PT and TCW. We will probably see some true classic Ep IV sets then. My bet will be a new MF, Darth Vader Tie Fighter and Sandcrawler on the high end. I hope you're right! My LEGO OT fill doesn't look to be satisfied with the 2014 wave... I know we've already seen an excellent recent rendition of the main bulk of this hypothetical set, but this could be a possibility: Ambush in the Jundland Wastes ($25)-Luke Skywalker (Tatooine), Obi-Wan, R2-D2, Tusken Raider. Includes Luke's Landspeeder. Edited October 21, 2013 by montyofmusic Quote
Lego Spy Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 (edited) I'm curious if TLG will re-release further UCS sets. A Sandcrawler and ISD are on my wishlist :) I don't know, that sounds familiar... Did they do that with a Death Star or a Star Destroyer? Tusken Raider (I'm sorry, I need a Tusken Raider.) Anyway, I think this could be a possible set. If Lego's smart (hint hint) maybe they could include some more detail and push it towards $29.99 - $39.99. I'd throw in Ben too. Let's revise mine a bit to: Jundland Wastes Encounter ($50): Luke Skywalker, Ben Kenobi, C3PO, R2D2, Tusken Raider. Includes Luke's Landspeeder and Ben's desert hut with (fairly) detailed interior. Source? I know I'd personally LOVE a catamaran, ESPECIALLY if It had the same clones included... Quote
Republican Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 (edited) thinking about it logically, they should continue the summer sets for Episode III. Here are a few possible areas they can make sets: Jedi Temple More Kashyyyk More Utapau Jedi Duel on Mustafar Order 66 (and that is stretching it.) - really that's about it for episode III. At first you might say, "that's it? there's gotta be more." But in reality, there really aren't any other areas they can make plausible sets. Edited October 23, 2013 by Republican Quote
jrad26 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Brickdoctor is going to end you "Republican" did you happen to catch his very recent post? but just quickly it makes sense to have the catamaran/turbo tank as we haven't really got a range of Wookies, only Chewie and Tarfull...so who knows. jay123 buddy can you shead some extra light on your info, its killing us. wesker Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I really hope we don't see anymore ROTS sets next year. Having the first wave made up almost entirely of ROTS is more than enough for the year. Quote
HJR-Holland Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 What's with all the rehash hype? Why a third version of the Turbo Tank, when we haven't even had one UT-AT out from LEGO? I'd prefer a UT-AT with some galactic marines any day over Turbo Tank nr3... Quote
Tariq j Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I just really want any sets which are episodes I-VI in 2015 TLG will just focus on the new movies and probably forget about the other movies. Quote
JVM Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 So, what microfighters would you guys like to see? Quote
Tariq j Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I'd like to see a jedi inteceptor vs slave I perhaps Quote

If Episode VII isn't coming until the end of 2015, we could probably get another four more waves out of the previous movies. Quote
Lego Spy Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 ? No. They only re-released (more or less) the UCS X-Wing. ;) Huh, OK... If Episode VII isn't coming until the end of 2015, we could probably get another four more waves out of the previous movies. That's a good point, three or four might mean we could be back in the CW again. Quote

Right Mygeeto did play a huge part and from what i saw from the video games theres alot of variety of clones that could come with that UT-AT so thats possible as well Quote
Robert_88 Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Huh, OK... I didn't really understand what you were trying to say :D Quote
nrg Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 WoW ! The Ghost would look nice with this plus Starfighter ! Quote
montgocloud Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 WoW ! The Ghost would look nice with this plus Starfighter ! Oh no... For some reason I get the feeling that the Ghost might look horrible in LEGO form due to the bizarre coloring. Look at all that blue, yellow, and green! Quote
jay123 Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Cant really guess for 2015 since Rebels and Episode VII will take up all the slots Quote
Obi-wan Kenobi Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 I would like to see this summer a Kashyyyk big playset,or a Mygeeto/Felucia/Saluecami/Utapau one.We need a huge Ep.3 Playset. Quote
montgocloud Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 I would like to see this summer a Kashyyyk big playset,or a Mygeeto/Felucia/Saluecami/Utapau one.We need a huge Ep.3 Playset. I personally hate everything about the prequels, but I feel very sorry for the LEGO fans that do enjoy them. The original trilogy sets are so diverse: we get the Death Star, the Ewok Village, the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser, Jabba's Palace, and so on. Meanwhile, LEGO hasn't even touched the Naboo power control room thing or the Geonosis arena or even the Jedi Temple... They did do the Mustafar mining facility once. Didn't turn out too well though. Quote
jay123 Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Well there probably not using much OT this year because they are going to use it for rebels in 2015 so its going to be basically based off episode 4 for that year Quote
