Future Star Wars Sets

For the Hoth Ion cannon I can see this:

A $50 set, with small trench, two Rebels, one Techie, 2 Snow troopers, A control panel for the cannon, and a Laser piece.

I could also see:

Senate Duel ($110 Toys R Us exclusive): Yoda, Palpatine and office, Senate Guards, Thire, and Shock trooper. Small office with roof, raising chair, removable roof hatch, and senate room. 3 senate pods, but full room.

Sadly, the Red Guard/Royal Guard would be more appropriate to this set then the Senate Guard, which I want to see the most.

Sadly, the Senate Guard being the good guys standing behind a bland Chancellor never made the same impact like the Royal Guard being the evil guys standing behind the dreaded Emperor...

But I still do not give up my hopes to finally see the Senate Guard.

That was the Senate Commando, a special forces unit of the Senate Guard. It was also released with a Venator set and a magnet set. They are cool and I have them, of course, but they are more the down-to-earth business soldiers, rather than the ceremonial guard with their long robes and ancient rifles.

In E.3 the Senate Guard also had a slight redesign of the helmet, removing the crest and adding visor, and yet another version was presented later in the Clone Wars (when they had the budget for robes...).

How about a Bespin series?

Little Vigs that range from $15-$35

Dinning Hall ($20): room with door, table with six seats, food. connects to other sets. Leia, Chewie, Lando, Darth Vader, Storm Trooper.

Carbonite room ($35): Boba, Han (and carbonite piece), Ugnaught (2), Storm Trooper, Luke. Outside strip, controls, Carbon freezing play feature.

Corridor battle ($25): Bespin guard (2), Chewie, R2, 3PO, E-3PO, Storm Trooper(2). Corridor with exploding pillars, blast doors. Connects to the others.

Also I could see:

Trench Run Battle ($120): TIE Advanced, Gold Five y-wing, Death Star cannons(2). Darth Vader, Davish Krail, Astromech, Death Star Gunner(2).

B-wing starfighter ($50): Ten Numb, B-wing pilot, Rebel techie.

Home One ($90): Ackbar, Lando, Mon Mothma, Rebel General, Mon Cala officers (2), Wedge Antilles. Assembly room, Bridge, hangar, with mini x-wing .

Imperial Star Destroyer ($110): Admiral Piett, Captain Needa, General Veers, Death star troopers (2), Storm troopers(2), Darth Vader. Vader room, Bridge with exploding action ("Too late!"), escape pod.

I expect to see at least one of these this summer.

Okay, it looks like I was misleading. The Yacht is not the point. It is a microbuild. In which set can you see microbuilds, which is in the SW theme (too) and expected to be released in 2014 also? ;) So it is only a concept art and not an official set.

I just got the Microfighter X-Wing and I really love it. Not only the package is great with the classic logo and no Darth Maul or random Clone on it, the model is really nice, the minifig is great and it's simply great for the price you pay. Much better than those lame planets. My prediction for the summer wave:

We have a lot Snowspeeders by now and the last one is from this year...

I would like the Y-Wing as well, but the last one is from 2012. Not sure if that is enough time. I definetly miss Davish Krail. What I am missing more though is a Clone Wars Y-Wing. The last one is very old (2009) and we do not have a regular red highlighted Y-Wing.

What are the odes of a new Slave 1 set (not USC)? The last one was 8097 from 2010-2011 ... I'd love to get it for my kid (and me), but I'm wiling to wait a bit instead of getting a used one (or getting a sealed one) ...

I dunno. It may still be too early on the basis that 8097 was a great set. Lego really nailed the design. The only thing that I felt that needed to be improved was the inside of the cockpit. The inside just looked very plain. If they do a Slave 1 system set, I'd perhaps wager it would be Jango fett's slave 1.

And that's the thing, everyone here is assuming the next slave 1 is Bobba Fett's. It may be Jango's instead.

I think LEGO should release some mid-year battle packs. I would love to see something like these before CW goes out:

Senate Commandos Battle Pack: Two Senate Commandos, one Captain, one Blue Senate Guard. Some kind of police speeder for two.

Legions of the Republic Battle Pack:One of Nahdar Vebb's clone troopers, one of captain Keeli's squad, Clone Gunner, Wolffepack Trooper. Clone Transport.

Battle Droids Battle Pack: 2 Battle Droids, 1 Rocket Battle Droid, 1 Super Battle Droid with rocket arm. Mini Pod Hunter

Umbarans Battle Pack: 2 Umabaran troopers, 1 Commander, 1 Sergeant.

I'm back!

Mos Eisley Spaceport: includes Luke, Obi-Wan, R2-D2, C-3PO, Han, Greedo, two Stormtroopers, bartender, Jawa, various aliens, two members of the Bith Band, couple of miscellaneous droids. Includes Luke's Landspeeder, a different red speeder, two stalls selling various junk, a hinged wall with a sliding door that leads into a small hiding spot for R2 and 3PO. Also includes two vaporators, speeder bike for the stormies, a small landing pad for the red speeder. Comes with that dinosaur type creature the Jawa was on with a saddle and a chain for the Jawa to hang off. Main part of the set is the cantina similar in style to Jabba's palace with bar, various booths, and a stage for the band. Maybe a sound brick with the cantina tune as well Play features include: a feature that makes Greedo flop onto the table, flick fires on the red speeder and speeder bike, storage space in Luke's landspeeder, opening doors into the cantina, sliding door on the hiding spot, opening vaporators with control panel inside. S@H Exclusive, retails for £120-£130.
