Sir Brickalot Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 I'm back! Mos Eisley Spaceport: includes Luke, Obi-Wan, R2-D2, C-3PO, Han, Greedo, two Stormtroopers, bartender, Jawa, various aliens, two members of the Bith Band, couple of miscellaneous droids. Includes Luke's Landspeeder, a different red speeder, two stalls selling various junk, a hinged wall with a sliding door that leads into a small hiding spot for R2 and 3PO. Also includes two vaporators, speeder bike for the stormies, a small landing pad for the red speeder. Comes with that dinosaur type creature the Jawa was on with a saddle and a chain for the Jawa to hang off. Main part of the set is the cantina similar in style to Jabba's palace with bar, various booths, and a stage for the band. Maybe a sound brick with the cantina tune as well Play features include: a feature that makes Greedo flop onto the table, flick fires on the red speeder and speeder bike, storage space in Luke's landspeeder, opening doors into the cantina, sliding door on the hiding spot, opening vaporators with control panel inside. S@H Exclusive, retails for £120-£130. That's my (awesome) idea down the toilet then if a cantina is to be released... Quote
Only Sinner Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 That's my (awesome) idea down the toilet then if a cantina is to be released... No, this is potentially very exciting news! You have a pretty good mind for details in set ideas, and if the set list is real, someone if not yourself , will have a great starting point for a Mos Eisley MOC. I can't wait to start seeing some of those.I also had a precognition about a new Star Destroyer, but I rarely discuss such things. Quote
korpen4444 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Next year, I hope to see these sets as exclusives: Wookiee Camataran: Wookiee Warrior (2) AT-OT: Aayla Secura, Bly, 327th Trooper(4), Clone Pilot. And for the Micro Fighters: Y-Wing: Davish Krail. TIE Fighter: TIE Fighter Pilot. AT-TE: Clone Gunner. ARC-170: Captain Jag. Separatist Shuttle: Wat Tambor. A-Wing: Mon Cala Pilot. Quote
Tariq j Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 And for the Micro Fighters: Y-Wing: Davish Krail. TIE Fighter: TIE Fighter Pilot. AT-TE: Clone Gunner. ARC-170: Captain Jag. Separatist Shuttle: Wat Tambor. A-Wing: Mon Cala Pilot. Nice ideas, an AT-TE would be brilliant that would be a good army builder. I'm hoping another rebel trooper battle pack with upgraded rebel troopers, we haven't seen these mini figures since the 2012 advent calendar. For this years summer wave a UCS Y-Wing would be nice it would fit nicely with the theme of a UCS rebel ship, 2012: B-Wing, 2013: X-Wing. Quote
DarthTwoShedsJackson Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 (edited) AT-OT: Aayla Secura, Bly, 327th Trooper(4), Clone Pilot. Count me in for that! An official Bly and some 327th Star Corps Troopers would be really cool - and a potential money pit for me... Has there ever a Nebulan B Frigate from the Rebellion era been made by Lego in any way, shape or form? Edited January 2, 2014 by DarthTwoShedsJackson Quote

I think we need more non-Republic/Imperial/Rebel/Separatist figures though i agree with the 327th troopers and Bly but we need more crime and civies more than anything. like Ziro Jabba's relative. And plenty more Count me in for that! An official Bly and some 327th Star Corps Troopers would be really cool - and a potential money pit for me... DarthTwoShedsJackson Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Ya as a Custom but not as a set Yep, I meant BY Lego, so as an official set. So: no. Quote

And plenty more Although I agree with the general sentiment, most of the "Republic figures" are Clones and Clones and Clones... The Senators and non-Clone military personnel is needed - Bail Organa - Mas Amedda - Ryu Chuhi - N. Papanoida (George Lucas!) - Senate Guard (E.1&E.2) - Senate Guard (CW) - Senate Guard (E.3) - Admiral Yularen - Human Fleet Officer - Tan Divo - Coruscant Underground Police - Coruscant Police Droids - Lux Bontheri Quote

I'm glad the bounty hunters and Mandalorians at least got some attention even if we're still missing a few key characters. Quote
legos486 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Since there are no ep3 sets in the summer wave and the advent calender is most likely revenge of the sith based I'm hoping that the remaining clones and commanders who weren't introduced are in there Quote

In calendars past, Lego releases six-seven "normal" minifigures, 1 new minifigure(Frosty-D2, Young Boba), and 1 Santa. So I'm thinking: Kashyyyk Trooper, Snow Trooper Commander, Airbourne Trooper, Nemodian Guard, Death Star Trooper, Palpatine, Wookiee Warrior, Obi-wan Claus. B-wing starfighter Imperial Star Destroyer ($110)Imperial Officers, Death star troopers (2), Storm troopers(2), Darth Vader. I expect to see at least one of these this summer. Looks like Lego has been listening. Edited January 4, 2014 by korpen4444 Quote

I think LEGO should release some mid-year battle packs. I would love to see something like these before CW goes out: Senate Commandos Battle Pack: Two Senate Commandos, one Captain, one Blue Senate Guard. Some kind of police speeder for two. Legions of the Republic Battle Pack:One of Nahdar Vebb's clone troopers, one of captain Keeli's squad, Clone Gunner, Wolffepack Trooper. Clone Transport. Battle Droids Battle Pack: 2 Battle Droids, 1 Rocket Battle Droid, 1 Super Battle Droid with rocket arm. Mini Pod Hunter Umbarans Battle Pack: 2 Umabaran troopers, 1 Commander, 1 Sergeant. This would be an interesting series by far. Though does anyone actually know what umbarran officers of any rank look like. and though senate commandos and guard are different they shouldn't be in the same set. 1 - commandos came out in the CW and rarely are seen in any of the other movies. 2 - the captain would have to be a guard and not a commando in order to even it out. I do love the set ideas on Vebb's and Keeli's sqauds though isn't Vebb's squad coruscant guard Glad you like. Rebellion on Coruscant: includes new Plo Koon with different headpiece, Clone Pilot. Set includes Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter, ARC-170 Starfighter and part of the roof Plo crashes into. Play features include: a plate on the Jedi Starfighter that makes it 'explode', flick fires. £50-£60. Battle of Kashyyyk: Similar to Battle of Hoth. Comes with two Wookiee warriors, one Kashyyyk clone trooper, Yoda, two Battle Droids, one Super Battle Droid. Set includes Wookiee Ornithopter, Dwarf Spider Droid, small AT-RT, gun turret for the droids, and part of the platform Yoda stands on. Play features include: technic cannon on the ornithopter, flick fires on the AT-RT and gun turret, and a turntable on the platform that makes Yoda turn around and strike the clone. Retail £40. Okay was Plo really shot down on coruscant because I thought it was somewhere else judging by the designs of the buildings. never mind. didn't see the post after it. sorry Sir Brickalot Edited January 3, 2014 by BigJoe Quote

Flieger Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 So I'm thinking: Kashyyyk Trooper, Snow Trooper Commander, Airbourne Trooper, Nemodian Guard, Death Star Trooper, Palpatine, Wookiee Warrior, Obi-wan Claus. This would be so great! Especially since I like many of the figures but would not buy the sets they usually come with. and though senate commandos and guard are different they shouldn't be in the same set. 1 - commandos came out in the CW and rarely are seen in any of the other movies. 2 - the captain would have to be a guard and not a commando in order to even it out Well, all Senate Commandos belong to the Senate Guard, but not every Guardsman is a Commando. They could go together, although I would prefer a battle pack with Senate Guards and BX Commando Droids - these faced off in CW: http://static2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20121211042618/starwars/images/1/1d/Peace_conference.png Quote

Besides, I want more of the 8039 Commandos. I don't have any, and I think they would be cooler. Quote
Flieger Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 They are hard to come by these days, so I understand you. My situation is different as I have two Commandos and one Commando Captain already, which is enough for me. That said, I am such a fan that I might consider buying a BP if it is nice. I am just afraid, we will not see them again because they are a CW-creation and CW-Lego seems to be dead; if the summer wave is an indication SWR is the new big thing. The movies however are always en vogue, so there is hope that Lego will be doing a movie version of the Senate Guard, maybe a battlepack with both styles: E.1 and E.3. I think it is more likely they would be paired with another Republic unit, but what? The obvious choice would be the Red Guard, but that one is done already in the actual Death Star-BP. Judicials? That may fit, but probably would not sell well... Clone Shock Troopers? Well, we have them in the Police Gunship, which actually increases the odds: the actual BPs include one type of released figures (at least in molds) and one entirely new. Quote
Steph 104th Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 (edited) any thoughts on this years ucs sets i personally would like a chrome Nubian yacht from episode 1 and as a set ,the Crucible from TCW carring all the youlings and professer Huyang and all the youlings making their lightsabers Edited January 4, 2014 by Steph 104th Quote

Here's another set that could include Utapau Commander Cody: Battle of Utapau: Comes with 1 Utapau Clone Trooper, one Airbourne Trooper, Commander Cody, one Battle Droid, One Super Battle Droid, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Set includes Obi-Wan's Jedi Interceptor, Droideka, Clone barriers, Crab Droid, and the platform with a skeleton covering it. Play features: flick fires, exploding function on the platform. £40.
