Do you guys think, that there would come a new updated model on the Tantive IV?

It's been five years since the last one so there is a fairly good chance of a new model. However I wouldn't count on it being a UCS version, it would probably be a "flagship" type set ranging around the $100/£100/100€ mark.

I'm still hoping for Padme's Naboo Cruiser from TPM, it's one of the only ships in the star wars saga that hasn't been made in Lego and it could include dozens of chrome pieces which would make it a popular set.

Wow, I can't believe I was nearly spot-on about the summer wave. B-Wing, Imperial Star Destroyer, Mos Eisley... I guess I was wrong about the lack of Snowspeeder though!

So prequel fans... Now it's your turn to complain about what we don't have sets of yet

Prequel and CW-fans. The latter being hurt the most, I guess but at least we got some nice parting gift, the Police Gunship.

I am however looking forward to the Rebels-sets, even though it will depend much on how the show goes. I was not a CW fan in the beginning...

Same here, I like all the Naboo-ships, but they are probably difficult to make in Lego.

Agreed. I am dissapointed by the lack of even a single CW set in the summer wave. I am sorely missing a Super Tank for the Geonosis display :cry_sad: Not to mention a myriade of Separatists' ships and vessels we never got. And I don't consider the Police Gunship to be a nice parting gift, colors-wise it's hardly Star Wars, and it's an obscure vehicle shown in one (although amazing) episode. NIce parting gift would be a set with Bounty Hunter Ventress and fallen Bariss.

But ok, in order to avoid getting a tag of eternal complainer, I am happy to see an AT-AT (provided it doesn't resemble remotely to the 8129 placeholder shown in prelims) and Mos Eisely Cantina.

I assume there is a good chance of seeing it in the new TV show Rebels, so it may make its way back into production as a set.

This would be so great! Especially since I like many of the figures but would not buy the sets they usually come with.

Well, all Senate Commandos belong to the Senate Guard, but not every Guardsman is a Commando. They could go together, although I would prefer a battle pack with Senate Guards and BX Commando Droids - these faced off in CW:

my point is that you never see them together though

i wouldn't think they would be that hard to make but than again when you see it in movies and things they only show parts

I'm hoping for a Mos Eisley battlepack to fill the Cantina up. A jawa and 3 other somehow important but not included figures in the Cantina set. And a moist vaporizer as build.

As much as I'd love to see it, this would go against the idea of all the battlepacks made so far- they are supposed to be army builders using suitably generic characters like like clone/storm/rebel troopers or battle droids.

I would prefer to see a Rancor pit like add-on, but I don't think there are enough iconic Cantina environments to make this feasible ("You already have the bar, the band, and the droid scanner, but now add to the experience with... the booth where the devil guy sat and the kitchen in back that was never on screen!")

If we are to see more cantina denizens, I think its more likely that they'd be tacked onto other sets, kind of like how the most recent X-wing and A-wing came with all sorts of unrelated figures. An updated T-16 skyhopper may be a good choice for a $20 loaded with figs, especially since there are no "mandatory" main characters that would need to be stuck in such a set, and we may be due for a new Falcon iteration in the FY15 summer wave.

Theres really only one more winter wave before Ep 7 is released. I predict that the 2015 winter wave will be heavily based on Rebels, and the rest of the year will be Ep 7, and I'm fine with that. Sure, updates of old OT and PT sets are nice and all, but for the past couple years LEGO has kinda been scraping at the bottom of the bucket for new ideas. They did do well with renewing all the old AOTC sets, but for the most part they were vehicles that we got back when CW started.

Rebels and Ep 7 will give the LEGO SW theme so much new material. It will completely rejuvenate the theme, and I believe all for the better.

2 Jawa's 2 Tusken Raiders and some sort of appropriate small build?

Episode 7 won't be out until December though. There's no sense in releasing sets for the new movie 6 months before its even released.

They're better off having a mix of Rebels and PT/OT sets for both 2015 waves, then releasing the 2016 Winter wave a month earlier in December rather than January to tie in with the new movie.

Oh, that would be awesome (Brick-built bantha?) but it doesn't "fill the Cantina up" like Borex mentioned.

And despite what Disney says, I'm not convinced that a new Star Wars film will be out by December 2015. Movie schedules slip all the time, and there's going to be a lot of pressure on Disney to do this right after what most felt was a let down with the prequels.

I don't know if anyone has said this or not but I think that the summer wave of sets are going to be based on the "REBELS" TV show. That would explain the ship called Ghost which was named as the main starship in said TV series

Wonder what next years battles pack will be based on

Probably Rebels---something similar to 2007's Imperial Dropship and Rebel Scout Speeder, perhaps? However there will inevitably be new cartoon prints for the Stormtroopers and Rebel faces... Yay. :sceptic:

I would love to see some with the Alderan rebels and battle droids from the CW series. they already have the Imperial troopers battle pack coming out but nothing for Rebels I don't think.

there is a TV series?

anyone notice how the newer 212th battalion troopers and Airborne troopers are orange like cody but not the 2013 212th trooper which was yellowish plus I don't understand where you would really put the new Ahsoka Tano from the Police gunship set (army wise).

Looking at some of the other comments above, I came up with this:

Mos Eisley Expansion Pack: Comes with one droid, two random aliens, and a Jawa. Set includes moisture vapourator, market stall, and a couple of crates. £11.99

Yes, that's what I meant by Rebels. Rebels is a TV series coming out in late 2014, which is why I think the new battle packs will be Rebel Trooper and Imperial Trooper themed.

Rebels will be out on Disney XD later this year.

Ahsoka was a Padawan not a full Jedi Knight, so she didn't generally command large numbers of troops. I think she held the effective rank of "Commander" and was most associated with Anakin's 501st. In the Police gunship set she is not leading the clones, she is fleeing or fighting them. They are seeking to kill or arrest her.
