We have a lot Snowspeeders by now and the last one is from this year...

I actually meant for a Microfighters set and now I am surprised to see we will get a System scale one.

I think we're in desperate need of an updated System scale Imperial Shuttle.

If I had been in the place of the design team, I would've altered the Death Star Troopers BP from this year to include two Death Star Gunners and two Death Star Troopers, rather than two Royal Guards.

Instead, shift those two figs to be included in a Shuttle set, along with three new figs: Vader (updated printing, back printing, leg printing, new helmet with breather/mask/helmet as three separate parts), Luke (same as the Ewok Willage one, maybe with a new face print), and the Emperor (new face print, body print, leg print). Maybe throw in Mof Jerjerrod for good measure.

The set itself would just be the Shuttle, but could be based on the numerous scenes in ROTJ that feature the iconic ship. The back of the box could show Jerjerrod greeting Vader, Vader greeting Palpatine, Luke and Vader dueling, and Luke removing Vader's mask at the back of the ship.

It would be a great chance to get some much needed updates of the two main Sith Lords, along with a revamp of a set that hasn't been in System scale for nearly 10 years. Perhaps this could be a set in the 2015 winter wave?

I could see why you would want new torso/leg printing, but wouldn't back printing be covered by the cape?

I guess, but it would still be a nice touch. I suppose leg prints are far more important.

Also, I'll make some rough sketches of what I mean for the helmet. I'll hopefully have those up by the weekend.

I like the idea of a shuttle the UCS version was good but wasn't suitable for figures. I would like to see a new trade federation MTT with some gunguns

What LEGO really should do is make another Old Republic battlepack, based on the Jedi Temple invasion.

Include two Armored Jedi (just caped versions of the Jedi Knight from 2013's red SWTOR cruiser set), one of them a human with a hood, the other an alien,

alongside two Sith Warriors (the versions with masks), collapsable pillar and some kind of vehicle or machinery as usual. Another set based on the same battle may be nice too,

perhaps for a summer wave after a TOR winter BP,

including some pillars, a collapsable bridge, maybe even the crashing shuttle (though preferably not, it would be rather expensive. Would want to keep this one at around a $30-50 price range),

and as for the minifigures, we'd have Ven Zallow, 2 Temple Guards, a bounty hunter and another Sith Warrior.

Next to that they could do a set with re-colored versions of the Republic Troopers from the SWTOR battlepack, I suggest blue, alongside a new SWTOR Jedi, a smuggler, a Sith Apprentice and an Imperial soldier.

Scenery could be anything, from an outpost with a new vehicle to another actual space battle. ("Republic attacking an Imperial cruiser" type of scenario)

For the most part the vast majority of the sets coming out until the next movie are going to be from OT. Disney is going to want to get everyone up to speed to the end of RotJ so they can jump right into episode vii.

That being said I would love to see a cloud city and degobah.

I've been doing some thinking about what sets deserve a serious revamp. Over the past few years, TLG has done a good job of covering the PT, with plenty of good TPM sets, the AOTC wave, and now the ROTS-heavy 2014 winter wave. Given what we are going to see in the summer, it is obvious LEGO has switched gears and they're focusing on the OT.

So, if the 2015 winter wave were to be the last chance before Ep 7 that we could get some seriously awesome OT sets, this is my list (following the size and price pattern of this year's winter wave):

The Battle Packs

Imperial Snowtroopers - includes three Snowtroopers and one AT-AT pilot. The build could include the boring old speeder bike, as well as a probe droid.

Hoth Rebels - includes two updated Hoth Rebel soldiers, one Hoth Rebel technician, and maybe a Pilot (or just have three soldiers and the technician). The build includes one dish turret and one white tower turret (or one turret, either version, and some sort of trench thing). And maybe a Tauntaun.

Price - $16

Medium Sized Sets ($20-$35)

$20-$25 Imperial AT-ST - includes Chewbacca and an AT-ST driver. The build is pretty self explanatory.

$20-$25 Battle of Endor - includes Han (trench coat, either printed or a special cloth piece), Leia (Endor outfit), two Stormtroopers, one Scout trooper, and maybe an Ewok. Build includes speeder bike, a tree (as tall as the AT-ST) with a swinging vine, and a title catapult or something. Basically the Battle of Saleucami of that wave. Meant to be combined with the AT-ST.

$20-$25 Twin-pod Cloud Car - includes one Cloud Car pilot and Han (updated blue jacket and brown pants print). Build is the ship itself.

$35 Yoda's Hut - includes Yoda (OT outfit), Luke (training outfit), and R2 (muddy). Build includes the hut, with interior details, some of Luke's training stuff, and a buildable swamp monster (maybe, I'm a little iffy on that idea, but it'd be cool).

Two more sets based on the Rebels TV show.

Larger Sets ($45-$60)

$45 Tie Bomber - includes Tie Pilot and Captain Needa. Build is the ship itself.

$50 Imperial Shuttle - includes Luke (Ewok Village version, add leg printing), Emperor Palpatine (revamp of the current OT Palpatine), Vader (complete overhaul, like I've explained before), Moff Jerjerrod. Build is the ship itself.

$50 X-Wing Starfighter - includes Luke (pilot outfit), R2, 3PO (leg printing), General Dodonna. Build is the ship itself. Change the dolour scheme to light grey rather than white. White has never been accurate.

$50-$60 Rebels set.

Exclusive

Cloud City - includes Luke (Bespin outfit, new battle-damaged face print with scars), Lando (Bespin outfit), Han (white shirt and brown pants, as well as carbonite version), Leia (Bespin prisoner outfit), Chewie (perhaps a special mold with 3PO on his back, but that might be too expensive), Vader, Boba Fett, two Bespin Guards, two Stormtroopers, one Imperial Officer (grey uniform), two Ugnaughts. There might be more that could be there, but these seem like the essentials.

The build could be a mix of the Death Star and the Ewok Village. Perhaps there could be a stand that could hold the set in place by the pinnacle at the bottom of the city (where Luke could hang from). Then the set could have a couple levels, with rooms such as the dining hall, prison cells, and carbon freezing chamber on one floor, and the droid scavenge room, along with the hallway, window and walkway where Luke and Vader duel. I don't really have a distinct visual in my head, but regardless, LEGO would do a stellar job, as always.

So thats my ideal list for the 2015 winter wave. I think it does a decent job of covering what needs to be remade, as well as gives us the new figs and new versions of characters we've always wanted. Sure, some of it sounds like a serious wish list, and I don't really like the Tie Bomber idea, but I wanted to make it seem realistic, yet still fantastic.

After this wave, I'd be really happy if LEGO gave us only Ep 7 sets the following wave.

Since rebels is coming its going to be a major part of 2015 waves and since the movie ep7 comes december I'm guessing they'll do the same as they did for rebels releasing some sets in the summer wave

I hope we see Cloud City either this year or next year. We sill have a chance to get it as one of the UCS or even one of exclusives this year, but if we don't we have to get it in 2015.

We also need to see a new Jango Fett's Slave 1!

I really don't like that idea, sorry. Lego already has ridiculously over complicated helmets, to split into three it would have to be as bulky as Iron Mans (which looks silly).

Well, Fives, I do like your list and think most of the sets are indeed probable. Exception made to X-Wing (the 9493s are still selling like cupcakes), Battle of Endor (mostly because of the title, one of the top Lego sets ever bore that title, I don't believe they'll ever touch its legacy) and Snowtrooper/Hoth Rebels BPs as we already had that, they wouldn't re-release it just to include few technicians...

On the other hand: AT-ST, Imperial Shuttle, TIE Interceptor and Bomber along with Dagobah sets and a Death Star-like Cloud City is what everybody has been screaming for ages, so I guess they'll take the opportunity of the two 2015 waves before Ep. VII comes in force to release these.

Also agree for Vader's new mold: two-part breather/helmet would be a very welcome thing. Breather would be actually a neck piece, with redesigned helmet to fit it. If well done, I don't believe it would be bulky (@Mr Man)

What I hope for is that we'll finally get that UCS AT-AT in 2015... :/

The Battle of Endor set came out in 2009, and hasn't been in production for a while now. The name for my set idea was just a placeholder. LEGO would likely have a more suitable name for it. I just thought that it'd be a way to have a set, along with the AT-ST, based on the battle on the forest floor.

As for the Hoth BPs, the ones you're referencing came out in 2010. Those Rebels are outdated. The Snowtroopers are getting a complete remake, so it's fitting the Rebels get the same. Sure, LEGO has flogged Hoth like a dead horse, but regardless of that, it's an amazing source for sets. Plus, if this summer gives us a Snowspeeder and AT-AT, won't kids want a cheap way to fill out the battle?

The Vader helmet, in the way I imagine it, is a three piece deal. Basically, the breather is a neck piece. The mask covers the face, and the top section of the mask (which covers the top of Vader's head in the films, and fixes the helmet in place) is where the stud fits in, and there could be some little connectors to secure the mask to the breather so it doesn't turn. The helmet would then connect to the top of the mask the same way that Tonto's bird fits in his hair, with just a little rod. Having this level of detail could allow kids to replicate Luke removing Vader's mask with exact movie accuracy. Also, I've always loved Vader toys that have the three parts separate.

My bet for the 15th anniversary 'jubilee' set is Cloud City - another great aspirant of becoming a hotseller!

For the remainder of the yet undisclosed sets i lean toward the expectation of a TIE Interceptor to complement with the re-emerging OT fleets...

I agree with this, A tie interceptor with the new greys is overdue.

I suppose, in a sense, this isn't really what one would classify as a 'set'. For the 15th annervesary of Lego Star Wars They could release a Lego Star Wars 4 Game: The Remasted Trilogy. It would feature updated levels, sets and characters from episodes I-VI the planets could feature as hubs, unlocking ones as you go e.g. In A New Hope you will unlock Alderran, The death star, and Yavin 4. In each Hub you do different tasks to earn gold bricks, e.g. You might have to win a pod racer race on Tatooine or Rescue as many rebels as you can from the Death Star under a certain time limit.

I find it a shame that LEGO will likely never touch The Shadows of the Empire. An Outrider set with Dash, his droid (Lobo, Rebo? I can't remember), and some Stormtroopers would be cool. Xizor would also be a neat fig.

which month will these anniversary sets (if they do make one) probably come???? and would cloud city not be too big of a set? would they not rather make a set that appealed to everyone? both AFOL 5% and kids 95% and would be in a price range more realistic for everyone.

Super tank from Clone Wars (as personal soft spot), Munificent-class frigate, C-9979 Landing craft (as absolute must-haves, it's a scandal TLG never bothered, they are iconic), Luckrehulk-class (but that's already wet dreams  ). Voila, off the top of my head.

A long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away...), I mean here, in this galaxy, Lego made that Flash Speeder from Episode 1. See it here on Bricklink: Flash Speeder. It was before Lego started doing flesh tones for minifigures so it's pretty dated. But, at least it exists.

As for sets Lego hasn't made. There is still the Naboo Starship

ep1-007.jpg

The Naboo J-Type Cruiser

Royalcruiser.jpg

Bail Organa's Speeder

Narglatchxj2.png

The Kaminoan Aiwha

Aiwha_NEGAS.jpg

From the Clone Wars there is still Asajj Ventress' ship the Ginivex Class Starfighter

GinivexClassStarfighterSotG.jpg

Lego has done a number of them, but there are still all manner of Pod Racers they haven't done yet

Pod%20Racers.jpg

Lego could get a number of aliens in with a Senate Pod set

ITW1_Senate_pod.jpg

They could make a scene from Dexter's Bar

Dexter-Jettster.jpg

I'm sure there's lots more, but those are the ones that stand out to me. There aren't many I'd be personally interested in buying. Like many others I'm pretty much done with the Star Wars line. Depending on the price and minifigures included I might be interested in Bail's Speeder, Asajj's Starfighter, The Senate Pod, or Dexter's Bar. But again, it all depends on how much Lego charges for these premium licence sets.
