Future Star Wars Sets

I would like to see a duel of the fates set. the front part could be a small hangar with sliding doors to reveal darth mual. behind that could lead to the generator with a few of those pinkish bar things with platforms around them, a bridge leading up to at least 3 or 4 those trans-red shields, and at the end the pit. minifigs could include obi-wan, qui-gon, darth mual, padme in that purple naboo outfit, panaka, and 1 or 2 naboo guards. I would like droidekas too, but i'm not sure those qualify as minifigures.

there's a project on cuusoo for a naboo cruiser,(of which I'm a supporter) as for the duel set, I'm surprised lego hasn't made one already, we have had 2 sets for the duel in ep.2, a set for the duel between obi and ani and the jedi vs. palps, in ep.3, (although not between yoda and palpatine) the death star covers eps 4 and 6, and cloud city for ep.5. you would think lego would have made one by now. granted they made a small set with jinny and maul on tatooine, but obi-wan, qui-gon, and darth maul have never been in a set all together. something needs to be fixed.

I'm done ranting now.

anyway, I have an idea on how theed set could be done, it can be seen here. I'm working on a concept in ldd.

I actually have already supported it!!!! Lol I'm in love with cuusoo at the moment and have liked quite a lot of the set ideas for star wars on there.

We had a ton of TPM remakes in 2011 and 2012. I doubt they'll touch that film again till after Ep 7 comes out.

We had a ton of TPM remakes in 2011 and 2012. I doubt they'll touch that film again till after Ep 7 comes out.

Honestly I don't want to find out what the new ep.7 sets are until it comes out.

I doubt that TPM will be rehashed soon, it has literally been done to death. It did start the Lego Star Wars theme after all, and for the first two years, it was mainly TPM.

looking back on some of the old sets, it would be nice to see a new AAT. I know we had one in 2009, but that was a blue CW version. A new TPM version be a good addition to anyone's droid army and would look very cool next to the 2007 MTT. (Which I unfortunately I missed out on. :cry_sad: )

If it were to be a set, I would like to see it include 3 battle droids, a commander battle droid, and a gungan to fry. :devil:

so lego releases a boring green Jedi interceptor, a ship that we've seen a million times and that needn't be released ever again, with a single nuts gunray figure and calls it a mustafar set? What about the landing pad?

I have this set and I was impressed by it. You can either collect the figs for mustafar(Poggle, Nute, Nemoidian Soldier, Security Battle Droid, Geonosian Warrior), or custom make one yourself. A set with only sepie leaders is kinda boring in itself. :sceptic: . But I would like Wat Tambor.

I think the 2007 MTT was pretty much spot on, I don't see how they can make it better. unless you mean so they're more available, as they are very expensive now, so I guess it couldn't hurt. as long as they don't skip out on the amount droids.

Maybe a few changes, but they just make it available again is my idea.

Lego needs to rerelease the MTT in a smaller more affordable format. Eg smaller model, but not too small and less mini figures, eg less droids. Maybe the MTT could feature OOM-9 and Qui Gon Jinn and Jar jar. That would recreate the scene at the beginning of phantom menace and perhaps the set could expand on that with a few STAP speeders as well.

The set should have a gantry walkway and a sliding door mechanism. The minifigures should include Leia (cloud city), Chewbacca with bowcaster, R2-D2, lando calrissian (cloud city version), boba fett (cloud city), two stormtroopers, han solo in carbonite and a bespin guard. The slave 1 should be completely redesigned with a better more accurate colour scheme and more cargo room.

Yes actually that is a good idea, considering we are being messed around by lego putting invisible hand palpatine in a vulture droid set! Omgoodness how stupid is that! Why don't they just make the friggin invisible hand? Instead of rereleasing all these damn sets that we've seen before! We don't need a anakins Jedi starfighter! We don't need a vulture droid! We need the invisible hand! What is going through the lego designers and marketers heads? Honestly if the cuusoo invisible hand doesn't succeed I will be distraught.

I like the idea of the mtt coming back, but I would be kind of disappointed to see it down-sized. just my opinion though.
