What do you think the next wave of Microfighters will be?

I think we could see a few PT sets, as PT probably won't get many large sets until after EP7, so TLG will want to use their new PT figures. Here's what I think are the options

EP I-III

Naboo Fighter - Naboo Pilot

Republic Gunship - Clone Pilot

Geonosian Starfighter - Geonosian Pilot

Slave I - Jango Fett

Grievous' Starfighter - Grievous

AT-AP - 41st Elite Clone

ARC-170 - Clone Pilot

EP IV-VI

Snowspeeder - Rebel Pilot

Slave I - Boba Fett

B-Wing - B-Wing Pilot

Good Ideas. These are my favorites. But you're missing the Y-wing.

A new jango fett slave 1 sounds good, although if they make a UCS version I would like it to be boba fett's. but a system scale jango version is overdue.

I think we need some Jedi temple guards, some different types of Old republic and Sith troopers, more Imperial troop types (incinerator trooper for example) More sith (lost tribe of sith) and more starfighters/starships from other factions.

Do we really need another Y-wing. just wondering?

Okay don't get me wrong but can anyone name any Imperial personal that AREN'T clones and shouldn't be thrown into a clone army.

Dude, I'm talking about a microfighter. Did you not understand his post?

And plus, I still don't have a Y-wing, so yeah.

Imperial Navy troopers, ALL Stormtroopers outside the 501st(or :vader:'s Fist) A ton of Stormtroopers aren't clones, but hired men, plus some aliens.

Ha wrong. Not ALL troopers outside the 501st aren't clones. Actually almost 50-80% of those outside the 501st are clones. ans micro ya i could o with that. sorry was a little tired when i read it.

Okay, At the time of the OT, clones had mostly died out. The 501st legion is the only battalion with all clone-storm troopers. This is why Storm Troopers(most) had poor aim. They weren't trained hard, or like the Fett Clones. The Snowtroopers in ESB were all clones, that's why the Empire won that battle. Those troops were properly trained for battle. Because they are both Kaminoan and Empire training. If we wanted to go into approx. percentage, I would bet only 25-30% of ALL stormtroopers(numbering in the billions i think), were the original Fett clones. Now this is off topic.

Back ON topic, I could use a TIE Interceptor right now.

TIE Interceptor: TIE Fighter pilot, Storm Trooper, Imperial Officer.

Um, could you rewrite that? Brickdoctor might, you know, at the bad grammer.

ya until they started allowing non-clones in the 501st

Dude! Grammar! AND, like I said, this is off-topic. We don't want to upset a mod by continuing this.

yes sorry. Forgot to explain. Thank you korpen4444.

From my understanding the Imperial Army is about 80% clones, just from different hosts. Only a fraction of the army are original Fett clones.

Yeah I guess a Y-Wing Microfighter is just as likely, but what would it be against? TIE Bomber? Vader's TIE?

See that what i thought but a clone is a clone no matter what template it comes from.

THE Clones are the original Fett Clones.

Now, The Y-wing MF could go against a standard TIE Fighter.

Also, some modular/UCS/D2C sets:

TPM

Theed Palace: Naboo Security Officer(x2), Captain Typho, Padme(Naboo security uniform), R2-D2, Anikan, Droideka, Security Battle Droid(x2), Nute Gunray, Rune Haako, Qui Gon, Obi-wan, Maul. Includes melting pot, hangar, council room. Flash Speeder, and Starfighter.

AOTC

Kamino Cloning center: Taun We, Lama Su, Obi-wan, R4, Jango(with civilian clothes and armor), Boba, Clone Cadet(2), Clone Trooper(4). Includes training room, Jango's Slave one midi model(that seats one), Obi wan's fighter, cafeteria.

Sir Brickalot is back!

Battle on Kamino: comes with Jango Fett with a face with headset underneath the helmet, Obi-Wan Kenobi with Mutt Williams' hair in ginger to represent the rain wetting it, Boba Fett with focused expression and confident expression, and Taun We. Set includes landing pad leading up to a sliding door. Also includes Slave I with space for Boba and Jango with many guns and lasers. Landing pad has many features, including the aforementioned sliding door, and also a tile that, when pressed, can launch Obi-Wan down the slope whilst he is attached to Jango's cable. There would be a clip for Jango to hold with the cable attached to him and Obi's hands so when Obi-Wan is launched, he will hang underneath Fett. A central pillar would also be included that topples after Fett's jetpack crashes into it. Slave I would include the new spring launchers all over it and hidden compartments to reveal... you've guessed it, more guns! Set would retail £80.

I thought just a blue slave 1 would be good, but that sounds even better! I honestly can't find anything wrong with this idea.

While I agree we need a Bail Organa set, I'm thinking TLG might choose to avoid the set where Bail runs screaming while a 10 year old gets slaughtered protecting him. Just saying it might not market well to their target audience. (Or it might disturbingly market too well, which could be worse.)

Now for Bail, maybe a remake of the Tantive IV in its episode 3 blue livery? That would look distinct and awesome on display.

I agree, and figs of Jeremoch Colton and young Captain Antilles would be nice.

My only concern is that it may be unpopular since people may just class it as a 'second-rate OT vehicle in prequel style'-that was why the 2009 Y-Wing was not popular, since so many love the OT version.

As much as it would be realistic, I know someone brought up the idea of the Sundered Heart being an alt model with dark blue accents for a Tantive IV set, and I think that that would be the most feasible for LEGO to do. (Assuming the red and blue pieces are placed such that they can be easily swapped out.) I doubt very many people will buy a Sundered Heart set, unless it makes some major appearance in Rebels (Which is not outside the realm of plausibility, but not appropriate for discussion in this topic.), so if you really want that, I think the best bet is for TLG to go the alt model route — it worked (at least on a smaller and more iconic scale) for 6212's Red Five/Red Three*.

*Wedge was the alternate minifig pilot included, and he flew as Red Two at Yavin IV and Red Leader at Endor, but the instructions had you put three stripes onto the X-wing's wings for the alternate 'model'.

Actually I think that that ship would sell particularly well if it was marketed well and I would definitely buy one! I would love to get a Bail Organa mini figure and a young Antillies so yeah this set would do well! Looking forward to Rebels. When does that start by the way?

I don't get why they wouldn't give us Bail Organa's Speeder. They could throw him in, give us a couple 501st guys, like Appo, and throw in that jedi kid. He doesn't HAVE to be killed, he just could be fighting the clones. Imagination. Imagination.

I think they should make that Super Tank seen in the clone wars season 2.

Separatist Super Tank: 2 Battle Droids(geonosis color), Barriss Offee, Draa, Geonosian Warrior.

Republic Medical Frigate: Ahsoka, Barriss, Clone Pilot, Clone Naval Officer, Clone Trooper(2).

Banking Clan Frigate: San Hill, Cad Bane, Bola Ropal(the Rodian Jedi), Clone Trooper(with macro binoculars, and backpack), Anakin Skywalker, Battle Droid (2).

I like this Idea. The one thing is, if Lego gave us this, would they neglect making a Kamino Clone Factory?

I'm kind of sad that we probably will not see any more Clone Wars ships. There were a few decent designs in that series. I would have loved a Crucible set. A sort of halfway point between the Jedi Defender and the Republic Cruisers and Tantive IV. Also a Luxury Yacht ala the Lady Luck. Not to mention all the cool characters they skipped in fig form.

Ah well I hop Rebels gives us some cool new stuff to hold us over until the new movies. I'm just not getting excited over yet another Snowspeeder or Battlepack of clones.

They could put Bail in a Yoda vs Sidious set with his speeder (an idea I suggested a few pages back, go have a look).

Edited by Sir Brickalot

I'm enjoying the current BPs since this will most likely be the last real opportunity to Army Build clones. We may get a clone or two here and there but less likely with the future holding Rebels and the ST.
