Darth Mallet Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Anything with Mother Talzin please. She's too awesome not to be a minifigure. Lego even has the perfect mold available for her fiery lightsaber thanks to the newest Chima sets. Not for me. TPM is probably my most wanted since there's still quite a lot left to cover - namely updates for the AAT and Flash Speeder, Queen Amidala's Royal Starship, Gian Speeder, Trade Federation Battleship, Trade Federation Landing Craft, a proper Watto's Junkyard, Theed Palace and more podracers. Don't get me started on all the minifigures I'd like from TPM... . That's cool, I just think you are a minority. Most people tend to prefer the OT over the PT and even the CW over the PT. The worst movie of the PT was TPM too. Quote
Gremer Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Just because it's one of, if not the, worst SW movie doesn't necessarily mean it should receive less attention. Many sets are long overdue for remakes (Flash Speeder, AAT, and MTT come to mind), while other sets have been missed completely (Trade Federation Landing Craft). Quote
duboismerci Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 (edited) For Micro-Fighters they should match up for battle like the first wave: Republic Gunship EPII: includes EPII clone pilot, Hailfire Droid: Includes geonosis Battle Droid Pilot. That would be awesome! The LAAT gunship only came with 1 pilot. That would be a great way to get a second one without having to buy a new gunship. (if i buy a new gunship i would have a gunship with 2 pilots and 1 with 0. Still a problem) I bought my first star wars (since 1999) last summer. So i missed out all TPM sets MTT and Trade federation AAT would be very cool. But i would rather have a new Naboo starfighter with chrome bricks since I have none (it's my second favorite ship after the LAAT gunship) Edited May 6, 2014 by duboismerci Quote
McDuder Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 I got my Darth Revan he is great. I'm hoping they'll release a Ebon Hawk set in the future. Which got me thinking since Disney declared the EU not part of the main canon, I wonder would that affect TLG's descision to release more sets based off the EU. Quote
HJR-Holland Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Which got me thinking since Disney declared the EU not part of the main canon, I wonder would that affect TLG's descision to release more sets based off the EU. nixedbricks Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 I want an updated version of Zam Wesell. More sets with new/updated jedis/siths and bounty hunters. Quote
wesker Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 I second a new Zam Wesell. I was disapointed she didn't show up with last year's line up of AOTC sets. Quote
Daimar Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 (edited) I would love to see a new version of the T-16 skyhopper, with the updated pilot, a tusken or a jawa, aaand maybe even a brickbuilt womp-rat, for the pilot to shoot at;). Furthermore I am in dire need for more imperials, so a storm trooper battlepack, based on the new rebels, cartoon, with 2 stormies, an AT-DP pilot http://thestarwarssa..._AT-DPpilot.png and a commander/officer like the one from the trailer with the open helmet (see attached picture) and a speeder That I could actually see hapen. kongman Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 I just wish the would re realease the ucs millennium falcon , to stop all the idiots ripping people off online for this set Quote
Darth Mallet Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 I just wish the would re realease the ucs millennium falcon , to stop all the idiots ripping people off online for this set They are not idiots, it's the people willing to pay the price, exactly the same for the cloud city boba and Lando. If people didn't pay then the price would come down, simple economics. I sold my Falcon on EBay because I didn't want it anymore, I had built it twice so the fun was had. I hoped whoever bought it would either get the same fun or was a collector. I put it on as an auction with no buy it now price. It went up to £1500 all by itself not me 'ripping people off' I was happy with the money and the person was happy with the falcon at that price. Quote

I didn't see the officer in the trailer; must have overlooked him. He looks really cool though, and having him as a minifigure would be great! Speaking of imperial officers, I wish that TLG would vary the ranks on the officers a bit more, perhaps also changing the style too... Quote
wesker Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 The officer in the trailer is Agent Kallus, who I believe is one of the recurring villains on the show. I think there's a good chance we'll see him show up along with the Inquisitor next year. I would like to see more named Imperial Officers in future sets like Ozzel, Needa, Jerjerrod, Motti etc. Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I would love to see more set from SWTOR. So my idea for a new Star Wars set would be The Ebon Hawk with Bastila Shan, Carth Onasi, T3-M4, Mission Vao and Zaalbar as the Minifigures in the ship (and maybe Revan but not the may the 4th Revan) Quote
kongman Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 (edited) darth mallet , you not too bad , you put yours on with no reserve , but there are a lot of people who bought them and did nothing but sit on them to push the price up , I tried to buy one whee they came out but could not find one , and using the excuse "its what people pay " is bs as well . But it's not BS, if 100 people bought the falcon purely to sell and make a profit but there was nobody willing to pay let's say £2000 for it then each seller would reduce the price until somebody was happy to pay the price. It's the same with anything. If 2 shops side by side sold snickers bars at £2 each nobody would by them, but if 1 sold at £2 and the other at 50p then the 50p shop would sell lots and the £2 wouldn't, forcing the £2 shop to reduce the price to be competitive. Some guy on eBay has had a limited edition red Vader head on there for over £5000, a serious collector may want it but it's been on there months, with the price slowly coming down. Exactly what would happen with the falcon or anything else for that matter if there wasn't people willing to pay the price. Quote
Legoman123 Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I second a new Zam Wesell. I was disapointed she didn't show up with last year's line up of AOTC sets. To be honest most of the AOTC sets in that wave were disappointing. The only good thing about the sets were the minifigures, but Lego still missed out some key characters. Quote

I would like to see more named Imperial Officers in future sets like Ozzel, Needa, Jerjerrod, Motti etc. I definitely agree with more named officers. I don't think the varied different ranks of generic officers is that important, though. It's a very subtle difference in colored rank squares and code cylinders, something most people don't know about, and something that isn't even consistent throughout the OT. I mean, the Clones clones ranks are so much more obvious, with bright colored trim that's clearly different, and even those we only got after a decade and one of them was an exclusive polybag release. Different Imperial officer ranks (apart from the black/grey/white uniform difference) don't seem like the kind of thing that would be important to TLG or to the majority of consumers, and it's not really that important to me. There are a lot of character that I'd rather get as minifigs before getting an extremely minor variation on a supporting character. Quote

Tariq j Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 TLG missed an oppotuinity to redesign an ARC-170 fighter for the RotS wave, but my fingers are still crossed for one. The set I most is cloud city as a UCS. Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I was playing Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption and I have gotten some idea of set I like to see (I don't know if anyone know the character and all of the stuff in the game, so I give links to picture of what they look like) Aggressor-class destroyer with the Minifigure as Tyber Zann, 2x Defiler and urai fen. MZ-8 Mobile Pulse Cannon with X3 Mercenary Grenadier Squad and Bossk Minifigure. Quote

On this point though, I noticed that the new imperial officer has actually been changed to one cylinder, which while not that noticeable to the average collector is something I find quite interesting. Also, I do hope for some named officers as well, my first choice being Moff Jerry (not going to try that spelling), as well as an updated version of Governor Tarkin. Quote
Darth Punk Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 http://www.hothbricks.com/2014/05/this-is-red-five-im-going-in/ The line-up revealed by Hasbro is as follows: 2014: Star Wars Rebels (animated series) 2015 Episode VII 2016 Boba Fett ( Spin-off ) 2017 Episode VIII 2018 Solo ( Spin-off ) 2019 Episode IX 2020: Red Five ( Spin-off or new animated series ? ) Interesting news if true. Fives Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 I'm really hoping that we get a new Falcon from Episode 7. I'm only guessing here, but it would make sense that the Falcon would be a government ship 30 years after ROTJ, which means she may not be as much of a 'hunk of junk' as we're used to. I doubt her appearance will have significantly changed, but there may be some new additions or whatnot. Plus, it would make sense for it to be the only way to get older Han, Leia and Chewie. Luke should be included in a smaller set, perhaps with his apprentice or R2 and 3-P0. I'm just getting super excited for the film, and hope that we get a full wave or two (roughly 8 sets or more) to cover the film. Quote
