It's just such a massive scene that has so many minifig opportunities along with the monsters and structural parts. Obi-wan, Padme, Anakin, Dooku, Poggle The Lesser, Jango, R2, Battle droid 3PO, Mace, 3 or 4 other Jedi, 2 Geonosians and a few battle droids. The 3 monsters, 3 pillars, the vehicle that carries the prisoners in, a tower structure where Dooku and ya boi Jango watch from, and a stand with a gate underneath. They could coincide it with a Republic Gunship that comes with Yoda and an actual decent selection of Clone Troopers. The UCS, although to scale, is just way to big and expensive, so a smaller one would be great. Jango's would offer so much though, like Jango, young Boba, Obi Wan, Lama Su or Taun We, and a clone. I can't see a Slave 1 iteration coming until the UCS one is off shelves, which will probably happen in the next 2 years. Geonosis Arena though has to happen. I know they have probably been holding off because of the creatures in the scene, which would involve new molds. But, they could have made three separate sets from the arena that you could put together into one. That would be great. Ex: Acklay vs Obi Wan, Reek vs. Anakin, and Nexu vs. Padme. Or even have one big one with 2 of the beasts and a small one with just one of them. Quote
KevinYoung Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 I always felt lego should do separate sets until you get one massive set. I think it would be a great market especially for the older collectors out there!! Quote

Tom Jurassic Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Star Wars Rebels - Imperial Troop Transport Ambush (I know apparently Rebels sets don't sell - but I can dream!) The Imperials have captured Zeb and are getting ready to take him off-world. Ezra needs to ambush the transport before it can get off world and it is too late! Use Ezra's speeder bike to catch-up with the troop transport, and use the exploding feature to break Zeb out of the transport and escape before the Imperials notice! Oh no - they've noticed! Use Ezra's bike to outmanoeuvre the stud cannon and escape before the Imperials get another prisoner! 1x Ezra Bridger (NEW - S3 Appearance), 1x Zeb (NEW - S3 Appearance), 2x Rebels Stormtroopers, 1x Rebels Imperial Officer Quote
FishW Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 (edited) Greetings everyone! I've been keeping up with a couple of the threads here and I've finally decided I'd make an account and post! But here are a few sets I'd love to see made sometime or another. I'd like to see a Wookie battle pack, from Episode III featuring some of the different Wookie colors they have made before. Maybe a little barricade or something. They already have the crossbow stud shooters so I think this is doable, though the price of the Wookie body/head mold might stop it. A taken raider battlepack, again the head mold may stop it, and stud shooters would really not fit here. so very unlikely. Geonosian battlepack to go with that wonderful arena idea that was mentioned. Some plain trooper battlepacks. like clone, droids(hopefully we could get some magnaguards), and rebel marine troopers. I really liked the imperial transport battle pack with the four storm troopers and while they were a bit different they were a great addition. Yoda's hut. several other people mentioned this so I won't go into detail. My only thing is please no X-wing just the hut and maybe a monster thing. so it stay afforadble. A cheap bespin cloud car as mentioned before. Vader's Transformation. Yes, I know this set is planned and that is why I am super hyped! I hope it is relatively cheap, under $50 USD, and includes a full version of Darth Vader(ie not battle damaged and with cape) and if it had a full version of the Emperor too, then wow I'd be super happy. But I'm betting that Vader won't have a cape or we won't get the Emperor(or we will but he won't have a cape). Sorry my first post was semi-long, thanks for reading! Yeah, but why do they not sell well? Because Lego does a horrible job at the sets. Every kid will be extremely underwhelmed by the sets. The main protagonist didn't get an update for S2 (!) & the S3 appearence won't be released until that summer - if it ever will be released. At that time we'll already have seen the outfits & trailer for S4. The clone didn't get their helmets, as did the latest Sabine. Sry for being offtopic with this rant, but the SW strategy - especially with Rebels sets - is sometimes so horrible, it almost seems intentional. Sabine's "sister's" ship, Hondo, Lando, young Leia, Inquisitors, Mandalorians, Maul - there would have been plenty of great material. But instead we got the same pilot figure 4 times, as several other figures that are far less attractive to kids than the mentioned one would be. Quote

Helghan Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Honestly, I want a proper Imperial battlepack. 2 Stormtroopers, 1 Scout with bike, and an Imperial Officer. That's effective army building and much more interesting. Quote
makoy Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 For me, the proper imperial battlepack should have 4 regular Stormtroopers, without battle damage and not with the Rebels style buckethead sad face. Scouts, Imperial officers and whatnot should have their own separate set so that we can invest more on army building Stormtroopers specially those who joined late in SW army building. Quote

Don't understand why they haven't given us a proper 100% stormie set. Stormtroopers look so generic (no exposed faces), they're perfect for army building. Rebels... a bit harder. Quote
makoy Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 The answer to that is probably due to having so many variations of the troopers now. We have OT, First Order, and all the other troopers in Rogue One. Disney is even pushing Death Troopers so hard that they put them on all the toy labels as art header. Maybe they look cool but for all we know they could just be just a one-off gig and may never be seen again. So while we get 2 regular Storm Troopers and 2 Death Troopers in the upcoming battlepacks, TLG can do better with a higher Storm Trooper ratio. I don't even think Shore Troopers are necessary as the Sand Troopers would be just fine if not more suitable for the same task, so it's good that they put them in the Battle of Scarif set. Quote

This has been my biggest pet peeve about the Rebels sets. There's plenty of new characters that could be included but we're always stuck with the same minifigures. You can only get Ezra, Kanan, Kallus and the cartoon Stormtroopers so many times. There's barely any variety. 5 hours ago, LegoFan117 said: Haha - thanks bud! I thought the Clone Wars was pretty well covered for the most part. We had over 50 sets from both the show and the prequels, several different clone types and the ability to customize them with accessories, almost all the main characters, the Jedi, the major villains of the show and quite a few minor characters as well. There were a couple of obvious gaps in the lineup - we never got Duchess Satine, Mother Talzin or Bo-Katan and a lot of the one-shot characters that didn't make much of an impact on the show were overlooked, but overall it was a much stronger line than what the Rebels sets have been. No doubt there Wesker - was definitely better covered than Rebels. Some of the more prominent character-gaps just stick in my head. Why we never saw a Phase II Cody, for example, I do not know. But that said, we did get a lot of cool CW stuff! Quote

Honestly, I can't think of any way Gungans could be retconned to be cool. Or even bearable.
