Mendoza007 Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 It'd be awesome if they made more things like 10179. So UCS models, but in minifig scale. Like an X-wing, Y-wing (by the way is 10134 minifig?) and something like Jabba's Sail Barge. Or dare I say... an AT-AT? Quote
Da Death Star! Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 I think a blue MTT from LOR would be great, especially if it had 24 regular droids,a Pilot droid, and maybe a STAP,plus 2 ARF Troopers and Mace. For maybe 169.99 CAD (_)DDS(_) Quote
KinGanon Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 ^ It wouldn't be too hard to recolor an existing set (maybe possible) As for the figs, an ARF trooper would be my cup of tea! Quote
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 I loved the Republic Gunship for the storage, the number of troops that fitted in and the feel and look of it. Something like it would be great! A SPHA-T PLEASE! GREE AND BLY ARE BEGGING TO BE PUT INTO CLONE MINIFIGURES! A AT-RT WITH A CLONE RECON TROOPER OR A BARC TROOPER! Quote

Or dare I say... an AT-AT? 7658 is minifig scale, the other is a lot bigger. The last X-Wing we got was horrible. Not enough detail, guns were hilarious and way too short, the overall look was not smooth and sharp like the original. It was ... blocky. I agree absolutely with others here that an X-Wing with todays pieces and technics, 600+ pieces would be absolutely lovely. Quote
GoN2Broadway Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 If they redesigned the X-Wing, instead of giving us another Red Squadron X-Wing, maybe they could modify it to be another squadron. I personally would love to see a modified X-Wing as a member of Green Squadron, or something like that with new decorations, pilot/crew, and droids. The issue with that, is it would need to be modified differently enough from the previous models to warrant releasing such a set, as opposed to just modifying the previous sets color schemes. Quote
darkrebellion Posted April 30, 2009 Author Posted April 30, 2009 A new X-wing could be a really great set but only if they change the common "Luke´s X-wing" routine . A new X-wing with the actual building techniques and parts could be a great winter wave set but personally if they want to release another one I want something like this: - X-wing with a NEW Rebel Pilot (Porkins is a good choice but also a new Biggs could be great). - One of those little speeder seen in the Massassi Temple in Yavin with a good amount of detail. - One of those little ladder things that can be seen in Yavin where the Rebels repair the X-wings. - Minifigs: Porkins or Biggs, Rebel Mechanic, a new Astromech and Jan Dodonna. If we get this in a new X-wing set than I am going to be really happy . Quote
GoN2Broadway Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 It also could be neat, if instead of an X-Wing, they designed a Z-95 headhunter, which is fairly similar to the X-wing (although with some rather large differences!). I've made a custom Z-95 headhunter using the base design of the most recent X-wing version (where I widened out the nose section, and added a couple other adjustments). I thought it looked pretty cool. This might be a great alternative for a new set as opposed to another version of the X-wing, but it would still be a similar ship. Quote
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 SPHA-T- Commander Bly, Aayla Secura, Clone Troopers 3, AT-RT, Clone Recon Trooper. SPHA-T is bigger than the AT-TE 2008. $210 AUD Republic Cruiser- Commander Gree, Senate Guard, Captain Argyus, Assaj Ventress, Luminara Unduli and Nute Gunray $160 AUD That's a unreleased set and unreleased minifigures. DoctorDude234 Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 (edited) Personally, I am a droid fan. So that is why I say Lego should build an Advanced Dwarf Spider Droid and a Heavy Homing Spider Droid. Check'em out on Wookiepedia. Edited May 7, 2009 by DoctorDude234 Quote
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Personally, I am a droid fan. So that is why I say Legoshould build an Advanced Dwarf Spider Droid and a Hevy Homing Spider Droid. Check'em out on Wookiepedia. And a droideka with a custom molded head piece that extends until it reaches the base, then has a molded base with extensions for 3 legs. The head piece should have extensions for arms. A Clone Artillery Gun like Pedro's but includes Captain Rex, Commander Cody, Clone Trooper x2, Clone Medic and Seargent Slick. Plus the sets I said in my last post. Quote
Raphy Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Cheaper sets with Ahsoka, Anakin and Obi-Wan pwease:P Quote

fujikuro Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Anything that gets us some old Obi Wan and Luke minifigs in fleshtone that DOESN'T cost multiple hundreds of dollars! How about Obi Wan's home? I know it wouldn't be an "exciting" set, but it could be made as a nice small set. Quote

I know it wouldn't be an "exciting" set, but it could be made as a nice small set. I agree. I have the old, yellow versions of Tatooine Luke and Ben from the Mos Eisley Cantina set, and would really like the new ones without paying hundreds of pounds. I thought about your idea and I think it could work. It could include the house with a chest to hold the lightsaber, and opening door, places to seat the minifigs, maybe a little Leia hologram printed on a clear blue cylinder to put on the table. It could come with a new redesign of Luke's landspeeder and maybe a moisture vaporator. Figs included could be new Obi-Wan, new Luke, new R2-D2 and new C-3PO (all from the Death Star set) as well as one or two Tusken Raiders. The whole set would cost about £40-£50. Also, if TLG releases a new, good Mos Eisley Cantina set, the house would look good on display with it. They could make a Lars' Homestead set as well! What do you think? Quote

It could just be a trans-blue cylinder piece with a minifig-version of Leia printed on in a similar way. Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 (edited) I totally agree with you, fujikuro, ADHO15 and RoflWafls! A Obi-Wan's Home, a Luke's home and a new big Mos Eisley Cantina are absolutely necessary and would be absolutely amazing - so would do a new bigger and closed version of Jabba's Palace for our Tatooine layouts! That's a great proposal, ADHO15! I only miss one very important element which belongs to the tusken raiders and which has to be included in a Luke's or Obi Wan's home set: a bantha! As for a bigger Mos Eisley set I don't see a chance that it'll cost less than 100 Euros/Dollars if we want to gave it bigger and more detailed and with even some more new minifigs included. But imo that would be the money worth if TLG does it right. But for next year I regrettably don't see a chance that we'll get some Tatooine sets since these do only appear in episode 4 and episode 6. And since 2010 is the 30 years celebration of The Empire Strikes Back (ESB) and since the most sets will regrettably be from CW and all that other TV stuff there surely won't be many OT sets anyway (supposably a new Slave 1 (especially since there are now these new jetpacks), a new Cloud City, perhaps a TIE Fighter or TIE Bomber or Snowspeeder and if we've got much luck (which I don't think) a Wampa's Cave). But since the license will at least be until 2011, there's the chance that TLG offers some Tatooine sets to us in 2011! And what concerns some new fleesh Obi-Wan and Luke minifigs it's imo clear that there has to be at least one set next year in which Luke appears (since TLG ununderstandable missed him this year - and he's the main character about whom all the OT is about!)! DoctorDude234 Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 (edited) A HAG wouldn't be half-bad. However, I do agree that Lego should release an old Obi-Wan, in fleshy, and not several wads of hard-earned cash. Mos-Eisly Cantina plus Obi's home would qualify. And as I said before, they should do a Lucrehulk Trade Federation ship, though the usual mini scale the Star-Destroyers have been. To top it off, Lego should build a Scarab droid: Edited May 10, 2009 by DoctorDude234 Quote
