legolandia Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 I hope lego decides to make a nice large size Malevolence ship and Banking Clan Munificent class star frigate. i love both those ships and their shapes are stunning. I am surprised no one has made an MOC of them yet. Quote
BountyHunter501 Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 (edited) Okay, this is my thinking on what LEGO should do sometime for star wars: Jedi Temple- Clone wars style Jedi (all the main ones like Luminara, Shak Ti, and some other very well known jedi from the clone wars), the library (with librarian, and the jedi holocron room), some rooms for the senators, and a platform with senate guards + a commander Naboo Starship- Padme Amidalla, Jar Jar Binks, (both newly designed in clone wars form), and C3P0 Geanosis Droid Factory- Pago the Lesser, Tactical droid, a couple of newly designed droidicas, some clone wars designed geanosians, and a geanosian starfighter to fit in the factory...also should come with that new "toy" the sepratist got with the bombs shooting in the air (I'm sorry, but I forget what there called, you can find them in the new clone wars cartoon series on Cartoon Network ) and Jedi Luminara, (sorry don't have any idea how to spell her last name lol) Finding the Factory- Ki Adi Mundi, some clone wars designed geanosians, about 5 of Ki Adi Muni's troopers (the Geanocian design) + 2 of them should include flamethrowers. TIE Fighter- a new design with the newer pilot we saw in the TIE Defender set Kit Fisto's Jedi Starfighter with Hyper Ring Booster- Kit Fisto, and his R4 astromec droid, and I think it should come with a random jedi like Shak Ti, because with Obi Wan Kenobie's starfighter (the blue one of course) it came with a random jedi that had never before needed any other reason to be in a set Sepratist Starcruiser- whether it be the "Malevolence" or not, I really don't care just as long as they do something with it because they have one for the republic, why not one for these guys to?!?! If not the "Malevolence", then I think they should put 5 droid commandos (with sword), Tactical droid, and Jedi Eth Koth Okay, I think that's about all, lol . Please forgive my spelling, it's star wars, and some things I'm not completely sure how to spell If you're not sure what something is please feel free to contact me, thanks for reading, and may the force be with you, always... p.s.- If you couldn't tell, everything except for the TIE Fighter, is based on the new Clone Wars series on Cartoon Network...so the minifigs should come in a new Clone Wars form Edited March 19, 2010 by BountyHunter501 Quote
Destroydacre Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 After watching Episode III for the first time in awhile yesterday, I think it would be cool for Lego to make a set with Bail Organa's airspeeder including Bail and a couple 501st Legion Clones. Quote

That would be a great way to get some 501st clones, but I'm not sure if that's enough of a main character to do that, but we can hope. Quote

I reckon with ongoing license renewals, LEGO will get round to everything evetually! Bail is a fairly important character... and his speeder is cool. I wouldn't be suprised to see Bail's speeder and some 501st clones at some point in the future. Look forawrd to it. Quote
jmadd58 Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 (edited) General Grievous' The Invisible Hand, with: General Grievous, Lushros Dofine, 2 super battle droids, 2 battle droids, 1 pilot droid and 1 security battle droid. Feature slide out turbolaser batteries like on 8039 Venator, and an escape pod. Measure about 60cm (23") long. Executor Super Star Destroyer, with: Darth Vader, Firmus Piett, Imperial officer, 2 TIE pilots and 2 Stormtroopers. Feature a mini TIE Fighter and TIE interceptor (like Vader's mini TIE from 10188 Death Star, allowing figs inside). Feature slide out turbolaser batteries like on 8039 Venator. Feature a docking bay for the TIEs. Measure about 60cm (23") long. Or either of the above in UCS form, minus the minifigs and mini ships. Edited May 9, 2010 by jmadd58 Quote
Big Cam Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 I just thought of a cool set. The scene with Luke standing in front of jabba in his little room, with Han on the wall, and a trap door for Luke to fall into and then inculde a giant Rancor. Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Now that we've received a proper treatment of Hoth, there are two remainining environs from the Original Trilogy that need to be addressed: 1. As little as I am a fan of these scenes, we need a proper Ewok Village. Perhaps TLG should consult ACPin 2. Otherwise, the main focus should be series of sets based on the Mos Eisley cantina. Lots of figs, perhaps add-on modules, etc. My collection will not be complete until I have the full cantina band as minifigs! Quote

NarakuAulonocara Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Does anyone think that Mas Amedda will ever appear in a future set? (assuming that the license continues) I really want this minifig. A sly moore figure would also be nice. Quote
lightningtiger Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Okay, now I wonder a set with a teenage Boda Fett in CW would be quite interesting, I believe he starts appearing quite often in future CW episodes according to a SW magazine I have started reading ? I'm a conformist! ! Quote

DutchRebel Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 (edited) I felt the urge of bringing this one back to life a bit. As all 2010 sets are known to us (as far as I know) and to keep ourselves busy until the UCS Imperial Shuttle comes out. And of course because it is so much fun speculating!! My wishes for 2011: - New colour scheme Tie interceptor - New 10xxx no. X-wing and Tie fighter (minifig scale, but in the higher price range with loads of detail) - Cantina (with band members) - Jabba's Palace with new Jabba (printed) and Leia/Boushh - New Jango and Queen Amidala - Arrest of Palpatine including Mace, Agen Kolar and Saesee Tiin - UCS AT-AT - UCS Repuclic Star Destroyer My realistic expectations for 2010: - Endor battlepack - Tie collection - X-wing - Cloud city - CW stuff I could do without Any thoughts on 2011 from you guys? Warm regards DutchRebel Edited August 4, 2010 by DutchRebel Quote
KimT Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Wouldn't the BP's for 2011 be CW as we've had OT this year? Quote
DutchRebel Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Wouldn't the BP's for 2011 be CW as we've had OT this year? I dunno, you are the man! You tell me. I'm just guessing, the expectations and wishes are based on nothing more than my own nerdie dreaming and speculations... Quote
Batman1 Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 ^ I would assume we would get only clone wars battle packs next year as its always gone PT/CW so now its back to CW with the 2010 Hoth BP. I think TLG has pretty much covered all the vehicles that appear in the movies (by using the CW franchise) so hopefully they will start to produce some less well known vehicles that all the fans have been waiting for I also think it would be annoying if we saw another 10 Anakin's in next years sets so hopefully they will branch out into more jedi fingers crossed!! Here is my prediction/hopes for next year: -Kamino vehicle (until we have seen the episodes we cannot know what to expect) that will hopefully include Shaak Ti (she is LONG overdue as a figure) -For the BP I hope to see Death watch, maybe a bounty hunter battle pack? There could also be Clone vs Droids BPs again but instead with: -Droids = Commando Droids, ultra battle droid, destroyer droid and B2 battle droid -Clones = New 1.5 clone trooper in different armour depending on rank -I think the new minifigs we are likely to see this year could include: -Shaak TI -Clone 1.5 -Ki-adi-mundi -Aurra Sing -Mando' -Pherhaps a new seperatist leader or maybe some geonosians Thanks for reading, Batman1± Quote
DarthSion Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Yes, if there is going to be a Mando BP then it will be CW. I want TFU2 stuff, Kota, Starkiller with dual sabers, the carbonite droid, Boba, what looks like sith stalker clones of starkiller from that Boba clip, jump troopers, maybe them troopers with those magnaguard like staff things. Quote
KimT Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I think we'll see a Mandalorian BP and a regular Clone Trooper BP. That's the most plausible release to me, though I'd rather have some Endor BP's to go with the Endor set. Quote
DarthSion Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 (edited) Well maybe they will do a mix, Mando and OT, but Mando makes the most sense as it was a big arc in CW season 2, and the Mando set should have the darksaber. Oh starkiller and a couple of jump troopers and like a small section of a walkway like you see in the TFU2 game play footage, that would make a nice BP, although i bet wouldnt be cheap. If ever TLG releases this one, I hope it'll be new versions of the clones (like the ones we saw in Landing at Point Rain) with new helmets and not just the regular clones from the Clone Walker BP. Well maybe they will do a mix, Mando and OT, but Mando makes the most sense as it was a big arc in CW season 2, and the Mando set should have the darksaber. Mixed CW & OT BPs = possible but a bit improbable (based on the 'coupled' BPs of the recent years) TFU2 BP = highly unlikely since it's not as popular as mainstream CW and the SW movies (though it would be nice to have one). I think you're right, with the release of The Force Unleashed II coming up they will probably release a new EU set with Starkiller in it. Quote
DarthSion Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 (edited) Well TFU2 BP might be impossible, but that is why its called what sets would you like, not what sets do you think will come out. Yes it make sense, they did with TFU1. Edited August 4, 2010 by DarthSion Quote
Bobskink Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I wonder if Toystory Duplo goes well they will make Star Wars Duplo. It will probably look a lot like this: Quote
wesker Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 A Mandalorian BP would be sweet. I think there's a good chance we'll see that happen now we have the new Boba Fett helmet. Something I really hope happens is plenty of sets containing the classic heroes. Now that Lego is updating SW figures to the new style printing we need Luke and Han in the rest of their costumes. And Leia. Lots of Leia to make up for not getting a new style one this year. Here are my predictions for next year: - Aurra Sing will be the next CW villain in minifig form. We got Ventress in 08, Dooku and Gunray last year, Grievous and Bane this year. It would be perfect timing for Sing since she was the main villain of the last story arc and is back in action early on next season. I think we'll see her, young Boba with PoP hair, Ahsoka and Plo Koon in a Jedi shuttle set. - Seperatists Super Tank with Ki Adi Mundi. Lego always releases a new Jedi and seperatist vehicle each year so this will fill both gaps. - New Millennium Falcon. Its been 6 years since the last system scale version and its the ideal flagship set for the second half of the year. Quote
