FettJango Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Do people actually think we are getting the Yavin IV base from the DK LSW book? It said that it was just a design and not a future set. Quote

No, we're just discussing what it would have been like, since we still would like to get it. That midi X-wing was awesome. Quote

It wasn't scaled right. Or at least to me. EDIT: Knight, here I come. Edited October 28, 2010 by FettJango Quote
Brickdoctor Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 It wasn't scaled right. Or at least to me. EDIT: Knight, here I come. Obviously it wasn't scaled right; it was midi-scale and that was a playset. But there's a similarly scaled TIE Advanced in the DS playset. If we got this, there'd be official midi versions of three iconic craft all around the same scale. And it looked good. Quote

commanderneyo Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Was it ever mentioned who the 'clone commander' in the clone BP was? Considering he is called Commander it really is this guy without his microbinoculars. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/CC-4142 Considering Lego have made microbinoculars before All they had to and should have done is paint them green and give it to the Commander and you have the trooper that I posted a link to. Darth Jar Jar Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 (edited) The Guy called Him has a name Sorry But we are really getting off topic now.... Since apparently TLG is releasing a battle for endor pack similar to battle of endor maybe this means they are going to have quite a few endor sets like they did with the hoth sets this year in 2012 Edited October 29, 2010 by Darth Jar Jar Quote

Since apparently TLG is releasing a battle for endor pack similar to battle of endor maybe this means they are going to have quite a few endor sets like they did with the hoth sets this year in 2012 Hopefully. I liked Hoth better, though, and I still think there's room for improvement. Say, an Echo Base that's not a turret on a diet and a trench floating in the sky. I missed out on the 2007 one. Quote

They only released loads of sets from Hoth because it was the 30th anniversary of ESB and in 2013, it is the 30th anniversary of RotJ, so they will probably release a lot of Endor sets in 2013, if LSW hasn't been discontinued by then... Lord Embo It won't. They signed a new contract which will go on for many years Quote

I hope my visions are right Quote

Lord Embo Unfortunately, if LEGO continues their BP release pattern, 2013 is a CW year while 2012 and 2014 are OT years. But I'd love for them to make an exception. Quote
Lord Embo Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 An idea of mine: Manta Droid Subfighter Minifigs: 3 Aqua Droids By the way, this isn't from the Clone Wars. Lord Embo Quote
Supersonic Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 An idea of mine: Manta Droid Subfighter Minifigs: 3 Aqua Droids By the way, this isn't from the Clone Wars. Lord Embo How is Clone Wars better than The Clone Wars? But yeah, it looks cool. And we also need a Battle of Kamino set with some ARC Troopers and Aqua Droids, one of the Trident-like attack crafts, and a few clones. Quote
Lord Embo Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 How is Clone Wars better than The Clone Wars? I didn't say it was! And it actually isn't; I just like this vehicle/droid from it as well as some of the Jedi introdued within it. Lord Embo Quote
Brickdoctor Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Because the Manta debuted in the miniseries, and everyone knows it's better that The Clone Wars. Quote
Lord Embo Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 (edited) A simple idea I thought of to how The Clone Wars might conclude: Ahsoka is dueling Ventress somewhere in the galaxy and is cornered against a tree. Ventress cuts off her lightsaber hand just as Anakin shows up. Anakin is searching for Dooku and had recieved intel that he is on the planet. The rage bubbles inside him. However, as he tries to get involved, Ventress pushes him with the force into another tree some distance away from the fight. Lightsaber drawn, Anakin charges, but as he charges, Ventress ruthlessly impales Ahsoka with both her lightsabers. Anakin stops where he is, almost about to explode in absolute fury and grief for his slain padawan. Ventress turns to Anakin, laughs and says, "Once you're dead, Skywalker, my ascension to the Sith will be completed!" Anakin and Ventress engage in a duel and about 2 minutes in, Anakin cuts one of Ventress' lightsabers in half, and the duel continues. Anakin begins to get more ferocious and Ventress begins to realise that she is at a disadvantage. During a saber lock, Ventress uses the force to push Anakin again and Ventress laughs and walks away. Sprinting with the force, Anakin impales Ventress and watches as she dies and says her final words, "Curse you, Jedi scum!" before her life ends. Meanwhile, Dooku, sensing Anakin's presence, escapes off-world and hides on Utapau, debating with Sidious what their next move against the Republic shall be. Back on Coruscant, Anakin is standing at Ahsoka's funeral pyre, asking Obi-Wan what he should do now, but his master doesn't respond as he is meditating, trying to learn more about the events leading up to Ahsoka's death. Tell me what you think of it! Lord Embo Edited November 1, 2010 by Lord Embo Quote
commanderneyo Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Not a great idea and the wrong topic to add apart from Ahsoka being killed. Main Bad Point: Ventress goes missing in action so she can't die Quote
