Frolando22 Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 How about smaller sections of the Jedi Temple? (Ex. training room, council chambers, library, etc.) Like the Jabba's Palace sets in 2003. Then we could have new Jedi in smaller sets. (I don't think TLC will jump on that though ) Quote
DarthR2-D2 Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Except for me. They'd never put a yellow face into a licensed set nowadays. Savage Oppress is yellow... Quote
Brickdoctor Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Savage Oppress is yellow... Fine. And while we're at it, Spongebob is yellow, too. Let me clarify: They'd never replace a human fleshie head with a classic yellow head in a licensed set nowadays. Quote

The Gungan Sub is in need of a serious re-do. Possibly it could come with the Opee Sea Killer? Quote
Surfer Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Hmmm... interesting. I know that the set itself would look absolutely horrible, but it would be a perfect chance for them to release Adi Gallia and Even Peill, as I said above. Look at the T-6. It isn't the best looking ship. But look at the great figs we got (Tiin, Ti). I think that Even Piell woulb be great as a minifig. I think the one Jedi we need the most as a fig would be Yaraell Poof. I agree on everything except yaraell poof. She is really an unimportant character as she was dead even before the clone wars. HE is a Quirmian Jedi master from Ep. 1. Yes, he was killed before the Clone Wars, but they brought Eeth Koth back, who knows what could happen. Quote

Then again, that ship is old news so we probably won't be seeing it. I hope LEGO never attempts another bongo, or really anything else from Menace except maybe the Radiant VII and some of the pods. Most of the Trade Federation and Naboo ships are too curvaceous and/or lumpy to look good in LEGO. An Opee sea killer would be interesting, but of course one of those would have to come after a rancor. Yarael Poof is not a she. HE is a Quirmian Jedi master from Ep. 1. And Poof didn't go 'poof' in a movie which means he didn't die and Lucas can therefore make up whatever crazy story he wants and Filoni (and the rest of us) will have to live with it. Who knows, they may even change his species to Kaminoan. Quote
Fives Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 (edited) Eeth Koth died? When? Originally in the script for AOTC, Eeth Koth was written as being killed on one of the Gunships during the Battle of Geonosis. Dave Filoni thought that Eeth was cool and wanted to put him into the CW, so he talked to George Lucas, and Lucas said he was still alive. Kinda cool that Koth is still alive, but kinda stupid why he is. Edited March 9, 2011 by Fives Quote

Originally, Kolar was Koth. But, the actor who played Koth in Ep. 1 was not available for Ep. 2 so they got a different actor to play Koth for the scenes in the Arena. Only problem was - the two actors looked nothing alike. Therefore George Lucas named this new guy Agen Kolar. Edited March 9, 2011 by Fives Quote
lego wonkyeye Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I was thinking that since LEGO advertised the bounty hunter assault gunship and the T-6 shuttle fighting each other, they should do the same in the next winter wave. It would be the Jedi Ambassadorial Shuttle (with the figs I mentioned earlier) battling Assajj Ventress's Ship (Sorry I dont know the name, but its the one in the episode NightSisters). Ventress's Ship would include Ventress (from sith nightspeeder) 2 Nightsisters and mother Talkin. The Jedi Ambassadorial Shuttle would include Even Piell, Adi Gallia, Obi-Wan in season 3 outfit and a clone trooper. Let me know what you think! Quote

When I first saw that Ventress's fanblade starfighter was going to be in the CW, I thought it had to made into a set. I think that the blade itself could be made by using a big fabric piece, like on Jabba's Sail Barge, only flexible enough to collapse down into landing mode. The cockpit windscreen could just be a trans-red windscreen like on the Solar Sailor. As for the figs, your ideas sound good, but Talzin... I doubt she would make it into minifig form. She just doesn't have as much playability as a fig with a weapon. When ever I come up with ideas for sets and what figures are to come with it, I always look at what a younger kid would want. Talzin would make a great fig, but I doubt an 8 year old would jump at getting her, they would want a character with a lightsaber first. Anyway, the figs in the Ambassadorial Shuttle sound perfect, and possibly the clone could be a special clone instead of just another generic white one. Maybe Bly, perhaps... Quote

Waxer and Boil Would be pretty awsome! I think above all the clones we could get, Echo and Fives in their ARC armour would be best. It would give TLG a reason to make Phase 2 CW helmets. (I realize that the ARC helmets are experimental with the fin on the helmet resembling the one on the phase one clone troopers, but still...) Unfortunately, Echo was killed off on the last episode of the CW, so the chances of seeing him are getting very slim. Jet would be cool. I also think any clone in that clone snow armour (the armour seen on Orto Plutonia). That would be great. Honestly, there are so many cool clones that we could end up rambling on for pages about it. Based on previous sets, ''dead'' characters still make their way to sets like Nahdar Vebb and Onocanda Farr. Though I agree with the lack of named clone commanders in the past couple of years, we've been stuck with Cody, Fox, and Rex (thouegh not CC), so I'd really like to see a new one, particularly Jet, which is also a chance for TLG to make his unique helmet mold. Well, we are getting Wolffe in the summer. I know that from the toy fair pics, it looks like we will get two plain Wolfpack clones, but I think the reason they looked the same was just because TLG didn't have the print ready for the toy fair, similar to the new Luke hair. I'm also afraid that Jet's helmet would look a bit to silly on the sides with those communications things on it. It would make his head look too big. It would be cool, but I don't think there is an effective way TLG could pull it off without screwing it up. Quote

Fives Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 That Saesee Tiin's JSF is a fake. That pic has been around since 2008. The latest episode of the CW had both Tiin's and Gallia's fighters in it. But, Tiin's is just a green repaint of Ahsoka's and Gallia's is a red repaint of Koon's. The CW team really let us down in this category. Quote
Mr Man Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 How about two commando BP's- Clone: Delta Squad (All 4 with correct paint jobs), DC-17m Rifles x2, DC-17m Heavy Weapon, and DC-17m Sniper rifle. A piece of wall to snipe from, and a mini turret. Droid: 4x BX Droid commandos, vibrosword x1, Sniper Rifle x1, E-5 x2 and hand-held energy shields x2, and two STAP's Quote
