a PROPER AT-RT

I'm assuming that's impossible with TLG's current pieces and standards. They got a fairly nice shape that was twice the proper size and one that was around the right size but looked pretty awful. (IMHO)

Is agree with the AT-RT. We need a proper one. Otherwise i'll have to "copy" larry lars's one.

But for know i just want a battlepack with a bunch of stormtroopers in it (endor?), but i fear the next wave of battlepacks will be battle of naboo oriented, to fit the 3D movie.

Well, if TLG keeps with there pattern- and I see no reason why they shouldn't- then we'll get Endor BPs. I personally would love a BP with Naboo Guards and a flash speeder.

I would like to see a battle between the Invisible hand and a Venator-class Star Destroyer cruiser, as seen in ROTS. Not the ships themselves, but only a part of the interior of both ships with a Flak cannon at the CIS ship, and a Point-Defense Laser Cannon (not sure if that's the on I mean, just check out the attachments for a picture) at the Republic ship. It's meant to put those two bases right opposite of each other to realize what the movie showed us. Just two cannons bays actually, including the two large cannons and crew and an armory with projectiles. Some computers too maybe, and some kind of small transport vehicle. The price should be 60 or 70 dollars.

And another idea; a lego set including some different cruisers on mini-scale, like the Venator class cruisers and some CIS ships.

Sorry for the blurry pictures.

I would like to see some sets with Fives and Echo in their ARC armour, plus Even Piell. Possibly the ship that transported the carbonite frozen characters to Lola Sayu in the citadel episodes of TCW. It could come with R2, Fives and Echo, and Even Piell, with carbonite versions of the everyone, minus R2 and Master Piell. It would be really cool, I think. Also, if the ship itself is too small, TLG could add a brickbuilt crab droid. That would be really cool.

I think we've seen all of those ideas before... I'll say it again: we really need a better-organized thread for this.

Yes we've seen and heard those ideas before, but the problem with this thread is no one will bother to read through 130 pages of wishlists and it's understandable for potential set ideas to be duplicated by members. One thing we could do is to probably update the first post with all the ideas posted (and update it when it has been realized into a set), but that will entail a lot of work browsing through the countless pages. Also, some people don't even bother to read the first post like in the 2011 Rumors Thread and will probably just post their wishes anyway. But thanks for pointing this out, I might take a look at this and if I find the time I might go crazy and re-organize this anyway.

Assuming that a significant portion of the members here check the first page, I can see it working as a poll, with Moderators adding any new ideas and members voting for those that they like. Moderators would also have the power to remove any ideas that have already been granted or that seem like spam... of course, this can't be done with the thread we have now, so we would have to start fresh,

That's a really good idea and hopefully this thread could lead lego to spot easily the Power Seller Sets they could make, and therefore fullfill us with unbrickable joy.

That would be a stolen separatist shuttle (very original (RotJ)) and there has already been one of those

There are lots of alien and driods in SW universe, and we have something like 20 different alien minifig out. So i would like to see LEGO combine the concept of collectable minifig with SW universe to get us large variety of aliens that we could get without needing to buy the whole set.

Aliens have always been something of importance in Star Wars. I feel like they are long overdue especially certain key characters. Hopefully with the introduction of the new Alien Conquest and the late Space Police sets, we will see some new molds popping into Star Wars sets.

I don't think you can say we haven't been getting new molds. This year we've gotten grown Togruta, Iktochi, Cerean, and Zabrak and new Ewoks, Toydarians, and Gungans, plus a new print for the Rodian head.

... which is probably more than we got in the first few years of the license. I wouldn't complain about the lack of new minifigures nowadays. Or maybe it's becaus the aliens AFOLs have wanted the most (Ithorian, Aqualish, Bith, etc) haven't yet been granted (though we've had plenty of other fan favorites in recent years, such as Twi'Lek, Mon Calamari, Talz, and Togruta).

Also, I think Hasbro would get mad if The LEGO Group were to sell collectible licensed Star Wars minifigures since it's Hasbro that has the rights to action figures. On top of that, I really don't think a desired minifigure should be the main focus of a LEGO set (one selling point, yes, as in 7931, but not the central purpose of the set) because that takes away from the 'building' aspect... but that's just me.

New molds cost more than printing.

I wasn't complaining that we haven't been getting new molds as I am sure that the time will come for most alien figures to be made. I am glad to see that LEGO is branching out more with their brilliant figures. As an AFOL, I watch children buy these sets mainly for the figures and when the figures look good, mom and dad's wallets empty.

I'd rather they made brickloades of Clones BD's, ST's, and Rebels but that just Me , so maybe a new bucket set full of these soldier figs eh?

I think this is a really good point, Lego is not an action figure line. I would love to see a wave of collectible SW minifigures but the purpose of lego is construction and if selling too many figures separately meant lower sales of the sets they usually come with we'd soon feel the effects as investment in the sets themselves would reduce.

Recently I have rewatched episode III, so I am really looking forward to seeing more episode III sets.

Let me look in my cristal ball:

"In about 3 years you will have a big episode III wave"

Tadam!

Edit: I didn't like episode 2 at all but i want kaminoans.

I recently read somewhere (I'll try to remember where) that the LEGO Star Wars license is to end in 2016

You read that on wikipedia i guess but i don't think they will stop the license before the end of 3D releases. So not before 2018 i suppose.
