Also, I think Hasbro would get mad if The LEGO Group were to sell collectible licensed Star Wars minifigures since it's Hasbro that has the rights to action figures.

Not likely all GL seems to do now is add scenes not delete them, anyway that scene was going to be in the original (before He was CGI and was played by a human) the scene was cut due to pacing not because He repeated what Gredo said.

Arena Battle with Padme, Obi, and Ani chained to obelisks. Add the reek, acklay, and nexu and you got yourself a snazzy set. Maybe if we get greedy, throw in Poggle.

I think, if they made another Gungan set, they should remake the Kaadu. When the first made them they were all orange. Now they could print it in a similar way as the gungans. Also, the Gungan Sub should be remade.

As for EP. 3, we need a new Boga. Again, like the Kaadu, it should have some nice printing for the eyes and such.

And I just remembered, what happened to that rumour about the Jabba's Palace set? It seems to have just fizzled away...

Surely this has got to happen!! We need an improved Jabba and the Gamorrean Guards. I can't remember who the original set included but I'm sure it would also have Leia in Boushh or slave girl attire, Lando and Carbonite han.

We desperatly need a new Mustafar set. The last one seemed to be hodge-podgedly thrown together while arbitrarily trying to avoid many spoilers. We need a decent new duel set, with the arm, maybe the beach, and possible some of the station.

In all seriousness, it'd be quite expensive at System scale or larger, price per piece would be pretty high no matter what, and I don't see TLG doing that much chroming. This is one of those ideas that keeps coming up again and again, but we never get it, and chances are that's because of the cost.

What about ships from Naboo?

Virtually all Naboo designs are much too curvaceous and/or organic to look good in LEGO. Just look at 7161. The same could be said for most designs from Menace. The C-9979 and the Lucrehulk are possibilities as playsets (or, if enough AFOLs want them, UCS) but strangely they've been avoided.

This is one of those ideas that keeps coming up again and again, but we never get it, and chances are that's because of the cost.

Some people who like new sets, or new versions of old sets may not be too enamoured with this idea but I really think they will re-release vehicles from the clone wars cartoon.

The AT-TE, the gunship and some of the droid tanks are no longer available but get so much exposure through the cartoon and the new game that I can't see them not capitalising on it.

I missed out on some of those vehicles so I'd actually like to see them again.

There will be a new one in two years to time with the eventual release of Episode III in 3D. Not guaranteeing it but it's the best chance for one.

Otoh Gunga (there's already a sub for it), rehashed Vultures (Naboo fighter just reappeared) and the ground Battle (Gungans plus Kaadus / fambaas - the start has be done with the battle droid carrier) do offer plenty opportunity to enlarge existing scenes.

I am pretty much expecting some more for Tatooine, too. Yet it features the most outdated LEGO sets and Jabba (palace/boonta eve racing arena - the pod racers are already there to combine), Wattoo (repair shop/market place/cantina) and Maul (duel - he just re-emerged with his new Infiltrator) do for some memorable sets. They would also be valuable because of the numerous later appearances of Tatooine. Some continuity wouldn't harm, i think.

Personally, I'm hoping for at least one large playset per each prequel episode (seeing as most of the OT ones are done)- Theed, Arena, Mustafar.
