Its suppossed to be a tiny At-At, was kinda hard making one that fit in a minifig's hand, and still looked a bit like an At-At.

I showed it to my wife and she knew what it was, so was kinda hopeing that people would get what it was meant to be- oh well!

I love your new rebel scene. I'm guessing he is holding some sort of robot/recon droid?

*huh*

Good point.

Yeah, that's an AT-AT for sure.

Not sure why you're so googly eyed KimT (pretty stupid idea with the droid I know). Now I look at it again I can see the resemblance. How are the binocular pieces stuck on?

Yeah, how did you make that micro-scale ATAT?

Posted

I... ahem... glued em on...

Was really hard trying to make one that small, needed to be held by a minifig, and i've got so many spare binoculars, i just gave up in the end got the super glue out.

:oh3: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

How could you? :cry_sad:

Great picture still though

Now we need someone to design a microscale ATAT for us.

I know, i did feel a great sense of shame. I did feel like i was cheating slightly- but you should have seen my first attempts, you'd have had no chance of identifing it as an At-At!... Though some would say that about the one i used

Any one got any good ideas for one- you gotta make it so it can be held by a minifig... Whos up to the challange! :classic:

I picked up AT AT right away. I like how the rebel on the right is looking right into the camera its funny how he looks at you with his cheesy smile.

Great photo!

Really nice shots. I really enjoy this thread and seeing your new shots.

I actually read the comments about what was the guy holding first, then went back and saw your shot. It's a perfect AT-AT, it was instantly recognisable.

Thanks again for sharing your work on these boards.

wow really great job on the lighting effects! You made the AT AT look so sinister and evil!

Thanks :classic:

Though it was pretty easy really- think id have been hard pushed NOT to make it look sinister and evil

Well i've been out enjoying the sunshine, so i thought id get some new shots in

I've prob taken more Sandtrooper/ Dewback shots than anything else (well apart from biker scouts maybe)- but they are my favs so what you gonna do!

Had a shot in mind that i haven't been able to get on my last couple of trips due to weather/ too many people at the beach etc.... Today by some fluke managed to catch it :classic: Just out of shot are people/ the sea/ signs etc... after an hour laying on the sand taking around 200 shots (i kid you not!) managed to get some with none of these in the background

I know i could have ultimatly photoshopped these things out, but i like to try and keep my photos 'un-shopped'

Anyways thats enough of my yacking  here's the shots-

People must have thought

"What the heck is that guy doing lying around in the sand with his camera?"

and then taking a more closer look

"What?! Is he taking pictures of lego in the sand?!"

and walking away in a big circle around you, thinking

*lego freak*

:laugh::wink:

Hope you didnt get sunburned, lying around in the sand for hours

Hehe- i think once they saw the Lego they would have probably been relieved, god only knows what they would have thought id been shooting otherwise

And i've now got used to all the strange looks i get! Its all worth it for a great shot :thumbup:

Challenge accepted.

And this is what I ended up with:

I know it's not exactly small enough to be held by a Minifig, but I like it anyway :P

Also, I only used parts from the mini Snowspeeder/AT-ST set.

'Its a dirty job, but someone's got to do it'

This has made my day

Great picture, very original.

You must have taken that picture some time ago or that sugar has been laying around for very long time,

because I'm guessing the missus wouldn't allow you to spill sugar again for a lego picture.:laugh:

Mine wouldnt.
