June 25, 200915 yr Author You must have taken that picture some time ago or that sugar has been laying around for very long time, because I'm guessing the missus wouldn't allow you to spill sugar again for a lego picture. Mine wouldnt. Was a new one actually (photo that is- i saved the sugar from the old shots just for this one ) Waited for my wife to be out before i got the sugar everywhere again! I also ordered some brown studs for the Tauntaun poo just for this shot...
July 3, 200915 yr heres my attempt, im still learning the basics of photagraphy. Criticisms and tips are welcome .
July 3, 200915 yr Took this shot ages ago, i could never think of a title for it, but it always made me smile. In the end came up with this shot instead- ... but was having a look through some old shots today, and the top one made me laugh so i thought id post it up and see if anyone could come up with a good title for it... :) Any ideas??? how about: storm troopers can have fun too

July 3, 200915 yr Storm trooper Bob's reacuring nightmare had finally come true, he had forgotten to get dressed on the day of the inspection. Hahaha, he is wearing a bikini, so a really big nightmare!
July 3, 200915 yr 'Its a dirty job, but someone's got to do it' Feel free to insert your own joke about them smelling bad on the outside Haha! It must be his programming

July 7, 200915 yr thanks for the kind words Smokebelch. how about something a little more imperial ? i ventured into the castle subforum and saw 74louloute's brilliant method of posing minifigs, his kneeling knight in particular. Edited July 7, 200915 yr by Hrodebert
July 7, 200915 yr hi there, very nice pics. like the kneeling one... and the ship looks great... little hint: if you have a white bath-tube: take your photos in there. looks great and you don't see where the white papersheets meet... my photos are in my sig... greets fenris
July 7, 200915 yr little hint: if you have a white bath-tube: take your photos in there. looks great and you don't see where the white papersheets meet... Interesting idea! Shame I don't have a bath tub Sheets of card and photoshop all the way for me!
July 7, 200915 yr Storm trooper Bob's reacuring nightmare had finally come true, he had forgotten to get dressed on the day of the inspection. I am not a crossdresser! Anyways, as usual, these pictures look amazing. Keep up the good work!
July 8, 200915 yr Author Nice work everyone, great to see some new shots up here Been real busy last few weeks so ive not had any time to get some new shots up, but enjoying seeing your photos up here-keep em coming
July 9, 200915 yr hi there, as i posted my photos in the wron thread (i thought it was only for smokebelch), i'll contribute from now on here... and start with my favorite pic: lord vader (chrome) with some stormies around... (same as my ava, but now a little bigger...) Edited July 9, 200915 yr by fenris
July 9, 200915 yr love the photo of stormies reflected on vader's helm, other photos are really nice too!
July 10, 200915 yr Author Great new Endor shots fenris Love the angle on the AT-ST shot (6th one down)- makes it look huge, gives it a really good sense of scale. Can't wait to see more of your shots
July 10, 200915 yr Yip, great shots Fenris. Scout Walker fits in really well and you managed to get trees, figs and vehicle all to scale perfectly. Great stuff!
July 10, 200915 yr thx for the feedback @smokebelch: i don't know what it is, but i kind of lack of patience... in your pics EVERY detail seems perfect. my pics lack of this perfectionism. have to become more zen i guess... or take more time. but i'm so enthusiastic about this new hobby, i could take my minifigs every day on a photo safari yesterday i receicved some stormtrooper and an old pilot i traded against some shadow-troopers. turned out as a little mistake - my counterpart didn't check his minifigs before sending... but it inspired me to take a pic to show him what went wrong... soory for the bad quality, it's more a joke OHHHH! Edited July 10, 200915 yr by fenris
July 16, 200915 yr Sergeant, take your men and find out why patrol23 hasn't returned from Tantooine... Edited July 22, 200915 yr by fenris
July 16, 200915 yr 1st Pic----Would be awesome, had it not been for there being a head on the minifig closest to the camera. 2nd Pic----Great close up. 3rd Pic----Lots of veteran respect, rather symbolic picture.

I'll tend to go a bit over board with my shots some times, i can end up taking hundreds of shots of the same thing, and if there is one small thing i dont like in all of them i'll start from scratch and chuck em all. Can be quite time consuming! I've just started a new job so havn't had any free time to take any shots recently- im getting withdrawal symptoms Love your new Tatooine shots Really great series- the black and white really suits the theme- glad someones keeping this thread alive Edited July 16, 200915 yr by smokebelch
July 16, 200915 yr I think that these are the best shots of your latest ones. I really like the close up of the stormie helmet. You have got a bit of a bad print there
