Just want to join in the fun. Just a random pic of my jedis in their 'show-your-lightsaber fight-pose', with no particular story whatsoever.

Still practicing on my limited and unprofessional photography skills (or is it my crappy camera?) default_laugh2.gif

I really like the distorted clone on your assaination attempt pic Legonator! How did you get that effect?

It was acttually quite simply, I focused on Yoda, and the clone fuzzed up on it's own. It worked quite well IMO.

It looks live Vader's cut himself a few times shaving already

Nah. Previously, Vader had been using the new Lava-Shaver. Uses eco-friendly ultra-hot waste products from the Mustafar Mining Facility to burn away facial hair. A freak accident involving Vader and a river of spilled lava resulted in the termination of the company. :vader:

Wow Burman, you're getting really awesome at this photo-stuff.

Keep it up and I'll have to shove a camera tag in your profile

Your shots are really good- very crisp photography excellent stuff!

Been a while since I dropped in here, thanks to everyone for keeping the thread going- some great new shots being added from some new faces which is excellent.

And of course fenris is continuing with his awesome shots- great stuff buddy

Quick shout out for the flickr Lego Star Wars group KimT has created on flickr for grouping all the amazing work on this thread. He's made me and fenris admins- give us a shout to add your work into the group- be awesome to have all the great shots on here in one place for people to browse through. If your not on flickr- join up!, its free for a basic account, and just add your shots over there.

Eurobricks Star Wars Lego Photgraphy Pool

Hopefully get my creative juices going for some new shots myself soon as well- been way too long!

Quick edit to answer this- Can't speak for others but all my shots are pretty much photoshop free. Will usually just tweak the contrast & brightness a bit, aside from some cropping occasionally thats it- I know fenris is the same. Nothing against photoshop but I just like to use real locations/ lighting to get the shots I want... im also really rubbish at using editing software, and can't be bothered to learn

Burman and AFOSL now carry a camera-tag as they've been sucked into the Star Wars LEGO Photography pool on flickr.com

Thanks KimT. I'm not as prolific or as creative as some of the other members, but I'll try to add any photos here and to the Flickr group whenever I have anything that's of acceptable quality. Thanks for the tag, and thanks for the invite to the Flickr group.:thumbup::thumbup:
