Big Cam Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I really don't like how big those helmets but the imperial officer has that swet head that I commented on in my AT-ST review. One of the best faces ever! pics are superb as usual! Quote
RileyC Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Awesome shot SmokeBelch! I just love the looks of those AT AT pilots and cant wait to get some in a few days time! Quote
ben506 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Great photos, as usual smokebelch! Really looking forwards to my Lego delivery now, as those helmets look even better up close. Would be nice to try this photography lark myself while it's still vaguely snowy here in Guildford, but with my sets 40 miles away and exams looming imminently, it doesn't look like it'll happen. Shame, as I'm sure my walking AT-AT would love to stomp some rebels in this weather! As this is my first comment in this thread, I would like to say to everyone who's posted in it how good your photos are, and it's always nice to see what you come up with! Quote
ILikePi Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Yep Love the Hoth shots Forresto & Commander Rob The Tauntaun Vs Scout Walker (Love the shadows!) and the Grievous shots are my 2 Fav's. Alas not much snow here- hopeing more will come would love to get some outdoor Hoth shots. Here's a couple of the New AT-AT drivers in the mean time... *snip* Wow, the Imperial officer with the AT-ST pilot/driver head than the Bruce Wayne one! I'll have to remember to buy that head on BrickLink in the future... Excellent shots as usual everyone! I really like Forresto's pic with Grievous and the Jedi. Quote
Lord Starkiller Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 In the GG shot, how did you make the alien head? Quote

smokebelch Posted January 14, 2010 Author Posted January 14, 2010 Welcome gotoAndLego, those are some fantastic shots Really makes me jealous for the lack of snow here- i'd love to be out getting some shots done. The final one with Han on the Tauntaun is my fav, great capture of the snow falling- not easy to do without getting the wet camera as well! Quote
fenris Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 (edited) @ gotoAndLego: great shots! love the snow and the tantative in the background! would love to see more of your work! the tauntaun shot is epic! Edited January 14, 2010 by fenris Quote

prateek Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Wow, smokebelch, you really made the rebel helmet look good in that pic Quote
RileyC Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Great shots smokebelch. I just love the new rebels they are awesome! Quote
BlueDragonZ Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Wow you guys are all so good at taking pictures especially gotoANDlego. Its amazing !!!! Quote
Ras 74 Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Don´t be sad for that smokebelch! Your "own" snow looks so much better than the real thing. Shoots of real snow is cool in one way, but I do prefer the one you used. It looks more realistic in scale. Oh, did I forgot to mention that the pics are super great as always? *Saved for desktop use* Your pictures is super great as always smokebelch! Quote
Big Cam Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 smokebelch delivers again. I got a tripod for christmas so I might start contributing. Quote
General Magma Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 That looks very nice, smokebelch! I'd like to make some myself aswell, I just have a question; is there any good camera out there compatible with Windows ME? (I knoooooowww, Windows ME is very old but money doesn't grow on the trees... or does it?!) ~ General Magma Quote
Clone OPatra Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Hello folks, after a tiny bit of prompting from Big Cam I decided to post some cold weather shots. I did post a Clones shot pages and pages back, but that was then. First, you probably never knew that clankers on cold planets wore coats, did you? Sometimes even Snowtroopers can get in quite a fix. Now, with this one, I will show the original and a monkeyed-with version. I liked the original because it was dark and dreary, but the second version does look much more sci-fi-y and unrealistic, which I think also looks cool. Which do you like? Quote
