Nice Greedo shots fenris- he's an awesome minifig isn't he.

Been having a tidy up on my hard drive and found a couple of old shots i'd never posted on my flickr before- the Snow Trooper shot is from exactly one year ago today

thx a lot guys - true: greedo is awesome...

Obi-Wan: These aren't the droids you're looking for.

Stormtrooper: These aren't the droids we're looking for.

When you're good you're good... Obi after realizing his droid-smuggling skills started a new business.. guess what...

You've even managed to capture the hand-wave.

Thanks a lot guys! Makes me happy if I made you :sweet:

Was quite a tricky shot.. good angle, lighting, all those white droids... took me a while to figure out how to do it best..

Tuskens watching the lowlands at sundown from their mountainlookout... any travellers?

Oh wow. I love how it turned out, it's just like a desert sunset. One suggestion would be to have a small but bright light really far away from the figs acting like the sun in their faces.

It just struck me. When all you guys that makes all those fantastic pictures and have it all set up done to take them,

could it be possible to make one "overview picture" sometime? Just to see the setup and all. Would be very cool to see.

Thanks in advance!

Well my indoor shots are pretty boring set-up wise- usually just a blank piece of paper for a backdrop!

My 'location' shots are all shot outdoors on real locations- picture a grown man laying down in the sand for a couple of hours cursing everytime a tiny lego minifig falls over and your pretty much there as regards to a set-up shot

Really sucks at the mo as whenever i get a day off and some time to head out for some shots the weather is always aweful! Can't wait for spring and some sunshine for a change, got a lot of shots in my head i need to shoot outdoors.

Im guessing fenris' last couple of shots were done indoors- very impressive set up of the backgrounds- I agree it'd be cool to see some set-up shots of the sets :classic:

Boba - my all-time hero.. a tribute:

The picture is not as sharp as I wanted it to be but I'm allready pushing the limits of my pocket-cam for those low-light shots... whats interessting is that the prints on the helmet look a little 3D...

Sorry for no-setup shot, but there is no real setup. Just a black sheet of paper as background and my phone as only lighting source...

here's what i used for the background-buildings at mos eisley and as rocks for the tusken shots:

fotozm.jpg

it came in the box of my w-lan modem (some kind of card-board protection where the pieces fitted in). added some doors and wiondows with a brown marker..
