YG-49 Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) ^I'm sorry, Dave, I can't do that. Did not come out as good as I wanted it, what with streak of light on the left. I also think it's sad how only 2 of my photos are Star Wars in the LEGO Star Wars thread. Edited March 7, 2010 by YG-49 Quote
KimT Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Sorry for the massive size, Im not sure how to re-size them. Just follow the link in my signature and you'll get to the tutorials index. There you'll find help on how to resize pics. Thanks for sharing your work with us and welcome to Eurobricks. Quote
smokebelch Posted March 7, 2010 Author Posted March 7, 2010 Very cool shots sok117 Love the postion of the Han/Leia "you could use a good kiss" If I were to offer any advice it would be to play around with your lighting to get a bit more light onto a couple of the shots. Depending on your camera, you can also see if you could change the f stops/ exposure time to let more light into the camera, though if doing this its best to use a tripod/ or have the camera on a flat surface. Thanks for posting them up- looking forward to seeing more, its great to see people contributing to this thread and seeing the cool photos they are creating Quote

smokebelch Posted March 14, 2010 Author Posted March 14, 2010 Awesome shot Rufus I think the lighting's really nice- love how you've got the blue light on Ben and the red on Yoda. One of my favourite moments from the film, great recreation! Can't wait to see some more Quote
Ras 74 Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 I just must say that you are all making some very beautiful photographing. It is with joy I go in to this topic and exitement to see if there is any new awesome pictures. Volunteers one step forward! *New desktop picture* No. There is another ....I thought it was about time I joined the party. Hope you like it, let me know what you think! Glad you did Rufus I would say the same with the lightning that it might need to be slightly brighter. I can´t recall from the scene in the movie if it is that dark. Maybe a reference picture would do. Quote

To be honest, I did it from memory - just wanted the red reflection on Yoda - so you may well be right. More will be coming, so hopefully they'll get better! Quote

smokebelch Posted March 20, 2010 Author Posted March 20, 2010 ^^^ Cheers Guys How do you get them so sharp?? Mostly by having a good macro on my camera, also I take them on a 3 to 4 second exposure which helps get em nice and crisp. Quote
fenris Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Thx all! @ Big Cam: Glas with a black paper underneath. But the reflections are not as sharp as i wanted them to be... black plastic would be better... @ Smokebelch: classic snokebelch work! very nice! Quote
