RoryoCox Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Good shots Balrog. Really good lighting and nice poses. It does seem more and more people are contributing which is really great Quote
RoryoCox Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Sorry for the double post. I was counting how many photos I have and decided to take a few more. I changed lighting a bit and made it more artsy. You can always count on me to do new things. By the way did you get my 'count' referance as this is my 1000th post Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Those are indeed really artistic shots Burman. Forgive my photography ignorance, but are those shots directly from the camera or post-edited versions? BTW, congrats for being a Count! Quote
RoryoCox Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Those are indeed really artistic shots Burman. Forgive my photography ignorance, but are those shots directly from the camera or post-edited versions? BTW, congrats for being a Count! A bit of both. I took the photo in total darkness with only one non-natural light source on one side. This allowed me to darken the image so one side was black. Quote
Stillex Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Hello Eurobrick! This is my first experience photographing Lego ... hope you like it From Stillex. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Playing around with Paint.NET, I used different levels of blur to create realistic perspective and depth in this legion of UCS battle droids: Shadows didn't fare as well, though. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Very nice battle droids Brickdoctor. Why thank you. I posted more pics on MOCpages, but their server seems to be running slow... again, so I can't link you. Quote
The Legonater Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Shadows didn't fare as well, though. What did you do to him? But seriously, that's a nice job. Are those all real droids, or are they 'clones'? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 But seriously, that's a nice job. Are those all real droids, or are they 'clones'? Are you the umpteenth person to ask if I have one or multiple models? Quote
prateek Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 This is my favourite shot of yours so far! Quote
The Legonater Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Are you the umpteenth person to ask if I have one or multiple models? I didn't see your MOC topic when I posted that Quote
CommanderFox Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Some amazing and creative shots in this thread, you guys just pump out shot after lovely shot Keep it up, I love seeing what you will do next. CF Quote
Randal Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Technically not photography, but Lego Star Wars, none the less. Quote

XimenaPaulina Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Great shot on Boba and his gang of bounty hunters smokebelch. Don't worry, classic Boba is still.. classic! Quote
Solscud007 Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Thanks Smokbelch. I wanto to do a light saber duel like in ESB or ROTJ. Simple sillhouettes against primary colors but my sabers aren't bright enough. Quote
The Legonater Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Here's a funny little series I'm going to posting over the course of... a while Kamino Messed Up 1.0 Quote
Vindicare Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Looks like they doubled up the testosterone and gave estrogen to the other..good pic! Quote
smokebelch Posted September 10, 2010 Author Posted September 10, 2010 Couple of new ones from me, went out to try for a couple of Beach shots yesterday- The Indy one turned out ok (see below)... then the wind picked up, and then 5 minutes later it started raining! Ah the british weather for you ;) Managed to get this one, thought the sand blowing across added a nice touch (& this was about the only shot where both figs are standing upright without blowing over!) Alas the rain ment I didn't get a chance to take the Dewback shot I had planned... Sandstorm... or Dude Where's My Bantha? by smokebelch, on Flickr And the Indy shot- Map Room Indy by smokebelch, on Flickr Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 (edited) Great shots as usual smokebelch. The desert setting looks like the Sand people are really in Tatooine. Very nicely done. Edited September 10, 2010 by KielDaMan Quote
Solscud007 Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Sorry for the crappy shots. I dont have my light tent and lights here in NY, in my new apt. Gotta bring them over next trip. But I had a lot of fun with my Death Star set. What a wonderful smell you've discovered, Princess!!! I tried to mimic the shot when the MF leaves the DS. Picture quality is real crappy, sorry. "Ben?" Obligatory jump the gap shot. Use your hate and anger!! Whoops, chopped of your hand, wait you have a robot hand too?!!!! "Father help me"!!!! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Pretty good shots, Solscud007, for not having your proper set up with you! The lighting in the Trash Compactor shot is fantastic. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Great lighting effects Solscud007! Even without the proper photo setup you still managed to capture nice pictures. Quote
