XimenaPaulina Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Very cool shot AoNZ, I really like the 'minty-bluish' atmosphere of the photo. Quote
Masked Builder Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Looking good Crabboy! Those shots seem to greatly improve. Quote
Lord Embo Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 (edited) Nice shots guys No snow here in NZ so thought I'd post my indoors shot *snip* Enjoy. Great indoor shot AoNZ! That bluish tinge hides the fact that there is a lack of a Felucian background. Great work at catching this scene from Episode 3 with such simplicity. CommanderFox Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Nice shots guys No snow here in NZ so thought I'd post my indoors shot *snip Enjoy. Lovely! As some others have said, I love that bluish tinge. A cool way of capturing that sad scene... Great snow shots CB! Wish we had snow in auckland. CF Quote
MightySlickPancake Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Thanks everyone. Most shots went quite bad today but I though I would show this one. Hey Brickdoctor, I retook the scout trooper pic with a better speeder but it didnt go so well but here it is. My brickshelf (when moderated)here Great shot AoNZ . Thanks, CB Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I can see lighting was an even bigger problem for these shots, judging by the noise in the pics, but it still looks good! Quote
CommanderFox Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 (edited) A very nice shot CB! I actually like the lighting, how it is stronger behind the two snow troopers at the top of the bank, and how it is darker nearing the snow speeder. CF Edited December 3, 2010 by CommanderFox Quote
MightySlickPancake Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 (edited) Thanks CommanderFox and Brickdoctor. Yeah its was very dark outside today unfortunately. I tired to change it on photo shop but they looked even worse as the snow troopers disappeared . Although a tip I found is to squint at the photos, it makes them look a lot better . Thanks, CB Edited December 3, 2010 by crabboy329 Quote
General Magma Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 (edited) Very nice shots, guys! Today I opened my Echo Base set (with the Tauntaun), so except to see a shot of that from me soon. It has been said that we'll be getting more snow tomorrow, so hopefully I can take some more pics by then. ~ General Magma Edited December 3, 2010 by General Magma Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Real snow! Nice one crabboy! Hoth shots always look good in realistic snow settings, so good job on this one. Quote
General Magma Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 More outdoor shots by me! I'm planning on doing another tauntaun shot soon, with a snow-storm effect. XimenaPaulina Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Nice outside snow shots once again Gen. Magma! I like the idea of the 'Grow A Tree' in the snow. Did you deliberately use a blue tinge on that shot or was it unintentional? Quote

Lord Embo Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 (edited) Brilliant pictures once again General Magma! I especially like the "Grow a tree for The Empire" shot; good use of a small bit of bark. The bluish tinge is a nice touch as well. Hope to see more photos soon. Brickdoctor Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Nice shots, General Magma! I like the bluishness of the first better than the greenish of the second, but they're all nice. Quote
Lord Embo Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 the greenish of the second What greenish tinge? I don't see any greenish tinge on the Tauntaun picture. And no, I'm not colourblind. Lord Embo Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 (edited) What greenish tinge? I don't see any greenish tinge on the Tauntaun picture. And no, I'm not colourblind. Lord Embo Only slightly, but it looks greenish to me compared to the third shot. Either that or the third has a slight pink tint. Can't really tell. Edited December 5, 2010 by Brickdoctor Quote

The last one looks like it has a slightly pinkish tinge which probably gives off the illusion that the middle one has a greenish tinge. Lord Embo Quote
Admiral Ron Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I wasnt doing anything the other day, so I thought I would take some pictures! Kind of a crappy pic, but I kinda think of it as an Imperial Propaganda Poster. "And to the Empire, for which it stands" Escorting the Grand Admiral. Some pics in my Christmas tree! Some Rebels on patrol. "Yub Yub" Imperial Scout trying to look hidden. Stormtrooper on Sentry duty. Hope you enjoyed them! Quote
prateek Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Nice pics Ron. I especially like the Christmas tree ones. In the first one though, you put the legs backwards (the holes are showing ) Quote

XimenaPaulina Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Nice shots Admiral! I really like the Stormies posing shot, and nice use of those plants as the backdrop of the Endor shots. Quote
MightySlickPancake Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Great shots Admiral Ron. I really like the second one . Thanks, CB Quote
