Darth Yogi Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Great photos everybody. Solscud, I really like your customs, the look great, and Fenris, Great snow shots. Great job Quote
General Magma Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 (edited) Endor photography continues even more... (With the final Ewok biography shot for now, until we get the new ones.) Enjoy! Stormtrooper on Endor Stormtrooper on Endor by General Magma, on Flickr Endor at Night #2 Endor at Night #2 by General Magma, on Flickr Paploo Paploo by General Magma, on Flickr "Paploo was an Ewok from the forest moon of Endor. He was the son of Warok and Bozzie, the nephew of Chief Chirpa, and a close friend of Wicket W. Warrick. He had cinnamon-colored fur and wore a smooth stone in the center of his hood. He was a boisterous, sometimes foolhardy, Ewok, especially in his youth." ~ General Magma Edited January 6, 2011 by General Magma Quote
Stardusty Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Use of LEGO with real plants is great! Photo is great all by itself. Quote
KingDom Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Love the mysticism of the night shot. You got the lighting perfectly. Quote
CommanderFox Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 you are correct. I scanned my 8097 Slave 1 Boba Fett cape, traced the cape in photoshop, then printed it out on a dark blue piece of scrapbook paper. it has a slight texture to it but the paperweight is nice and sturdy. Could you upload and post the link to the scan here? Im interested in that cape, looks excellent on Pre Visla. CF Quote
RoryoCox Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 I got a new camera during the week so have tried out a few shots. Most did not work as I still have to get used to it but I have decided to post this. As you can see there are some smudges on the foreground of the photo. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 I think those smudges may be on the minifig. Nice crisp shot, though, Burman. Hope you figure out that camera soon so we can see more pics. Quote
Masked Builder Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 This is one of my first shots with my then new camera. Quote
Stardusty Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Is that white house or your ( ) house? Whoops! No need to answer it, I see the flag on the roof. I like the photo but I think that you could made something like clone holding house (you know those tourist jokes on photos) and something like that. Quote

Im looking at the snipers on the roof. Probably looking at the photographer and wondering what the tiny little white thing is, that he put inside the perimeter of the white house. Quote

Yeah in some of the other photos there's this guard on the roof. Quote

I think it might have been better with the clone in-focus, though. Quote
Walter Kovacs Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Nice shot, Masked. I think it might have been better with the clone in-focus, though. I'm not sure if that would have made a better photo or not, but I'd like to at least see it. Also cropping out the sidewalk that is visible might help a little. You won't lose too much of the clone if you cut a little off the bottom. I'm just wondering why MB was carrying a Clone Trooper MF around on his trip to the White House. Quote

So what, this guy on picture can kill them all in 2.1 seconds. So, I've played with lighting and my sigfig. And yes, that's trans neon-green antena, not lightsaber blade. They are easier to light-up with LEDs when ends aren't on picture. Please comment. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Great job, Stardusty. I love how the lightsaber illuminates only half of Luke. But why is he wearing Nahdar's (?) torso? Quote
Admiral Ron Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I'm just wondering why MB was carrying a Clone Trooper MF around on his trip to the White House. The same reason I carried about 10 of them throughout my trip to D.C Keep up the good work everyone! Quote

That's my sigfig, I have mentioned that. Well, that's the only Jedi torso I have (besides Ninja's from CM 1 but I don't like it) and brown hands and neck (?) could be gloves and some shirt under everything he's wearing. And I didn't cared about that so much, I've just wanted to take one decent shot with neon green lightsaber glowing. Quote

Masked Builder Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Looks good JCC1004! Nice shot, Masked. I think it might have been better with the clone in-focus, though. Yes it would have. I'm just wondering why MB was carrying a Clone Trooper MF around on his trip to the White House. For photography shots like this one. Let me see if I can find some more.... Quote
Swiss Army Droid Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I got a new camera for Christmas and I have been taking lots of pictures with it. I have also been working on editing pictures with picnik. I'll post some of my "normal" pictures later, but for now let's see what you can do with a little editing. The neon effect in picnik can make some really cool pictures. They are always very interesting, enspecially with Clone Wars minifigs. I love how Anakin's head glows in this picture. This picture here is my favorite. When I was done editing it I decided to turn it into a poster. Since I made a poster for the rebels, I had to make one for the Empire too, right? I went crazy trying out new effects on this one. I don't think Darth Vader has ever looked so colorful! Now for a more "normal" looking picture, this is my "Potterized" avatar. I am really glad that my camera takes good macro shots like this. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Pretty nice job. If you have an image editor, I believe it should have a similar function, but with more freedom of settings. Quote
Masked Builder Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Wow that one of Darth Vader is pretty cool! And clone wars Anakin actually looks okay. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Those are very nice photo edits Swiss Army Droid! Great stuff! Quote
