Brickdoctor Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Great job with the lighting, Solscud; especially the first one. Better wipe that LEGO down before KimT sees it... Quote
WampaStompa Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Though it's really not pure photography, you really have some great photo editing skills WampaStompa. Your 'glowing lightsaber in the dark' shots look really good, from your previous jedi shots to this one. Though on this particular picture, I don't seem to understand the intended effect of the lines(?) Thanks for the positive comments KielDaMan, I am trialing photoshop at the moment so nearly all of my new shots have been edited :) I am sure in 14 days time you will see shots of the more purist nature :D Dr Nightmare is right the lens flare is movie prime and the lines.... well what can i say like them or loath them there there to stay :D Thanks again for the comments and for viewing my picture Quote
Koisny Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Another one from me - Cryo experiment.. I got this idea in bath when I noticed shampoo cap which is that clone in, hope you like it. Cryogenic experiment (Clone trooper Tales #9) by Koisny, on Flickr Quote
Masked Builder Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 (edited) Wow guys! Some of these shots are very very nice. Solscud007, I do have a question. What did you use to light up that lightsaber? Edited January 29, 2011 by Masked Builder Quote
Solscud007 Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Wow guys! Some of these shots are very very nice. Solscud007, I do have a question. What did you use to light up that lightsaber? Fiber Optic cable and surefire flashlight. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 I borrowed my friend's canon and macro lens. aaagggghhhh the DUST!!!!! Intentional or not, I actually think the dust gives a realistic 'dirty' surface effect. I would assume Carbonite Solo isn't that squeaky clean in the RoTJ right? Both shots have epic lighting BTW. Henchmen4Hire Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Cool freezer pic, K! The lighting is nice, I know I can't take shots like that in my freezer (mainly because it's covered in blood, ew) Quote
Koisny Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 freezer covered in blood could be good for some after battle shots :) Quote

Brickdoctor Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 (edited) Well then you're forgiven Forgiven? Forgiven implies that I was the one at fault. I should be the one forgiving you. What's that? You're the Dark Lord of Denmark? Oh, er, uh, I gratefully accept your extremely generous gift of forgiveness after my error. Please don't Force Moderate me. Okay, I'll stop. Back on topic now. Plissken Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Photographing Lego (especially SW Lego) gets really addictive. I bought the new battlepacks today and thought that the mandalorian head resembles the brilliant actor Klaus Kinski. This would explain the name of the picture. Here it is. Enjoy. Brickdoctor Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Yours is well done, Koisny. Plissken, I think yours is too yellowish, but I like the focus and composition. Quote
