Emotions in the Greedo shot May I ask what kind of camera you use? I like a lot of macro-photography. If I can, I take pictures every day. I use a Nikon D100 with a Tamron 60mm fixed lens. Usually f15-20 and 1-2 seconds. Quote

RileyC Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Nice job, darth yogi! The painted trophy for a hologram is nicely done. I agree! I cant believe I never thought about that! Its perfect for a hologram, I wonder if Lego may steal your idea for it. Keep up the good work! Quote
WampaStompa Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Hi, Thanks for the comments on my Grievous shot, I am glad you liked it! There has been some excellent work lately, nice shots from LINKO and very impressive shots from Darth Yogi. I agree with Brickdoctor you have done a fantastic job on the trophy a very inspiring idea :) Here is one I posted on the EuroBricks Star Wars Lego Photography Pool Hope you enjoy it! "The name's Rex. But you'll call me 'captain' or 'sir'." Quote
Frolando22 Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 That last one is amazing, WampaStompa. I love the arm positioning! The blast-lighting just blows me away. Keep them coming! Quote
Bane Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Just playing with shallow DOF. http://img593.imageshack.us/img593/5986/img2711f.jpg http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/1291/img2716mp.jpg Well, Vader isn't really sharp in your first pic and I miss some.. uh, "action". But I like the blurry background. Very nice pic, WampaStompa. It's a nice idea, but I can't get used to the supernova laser shot, and the light on the helmet is a little bit too bright. Your ARF trooper looks great, too @Yogi. Quote
ukaskew Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Larry (my friendly Stormtrooper) has been busy around my house and garden lately... Patience... Yay! Quote
Leg-godt Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Here are some I took a while back when there was total snowation. C&C welcome! Quote
Solscud007 Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 After playing and completing 81+% of Lego SW III: Clone Wars I had to make the rapid fire heavy gun used so prominently throughout the game. "Say hello to my little friend" I used the modified plate with opened ended bar so that the clone can hold onto the top handle while holding onto the rear grip at the same time. Quote
Masked Builder Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Not bad guys! My little brother likes the chain gun too Solscud007. I'll have to show him. Quote
Ki-Adi-Mundi Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Nice photos everyone, Ive not had much chance to photograph over the last few days but heres one ive managed. That's truly a masterpiece. I especially like the lighting and the mirror-effect of the ground. Quote

smokebelch Posted April 7, 2011 Author Posted April 7, 2011 Nice work everyone- great to see your shots Heres a new one from me- having some nice weather at the moment so took a trip to the beach for some 'tatooine' action Gone Scavenging by smokebelch, on Flickr I've always wondered how the Jawas were able to make a living out of finding droids in the desert- I guess given the rate Jabba gets rid of his interpreters theres good money to be had out there in them dunes ;) Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Just as lovely as your other Tatooine shots, smokebelch. Does that droid have four arms or are there other droids buried there? Quote

Solscud007 Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I made myself a classic lego Vader. Not sure what to use for the helmet though. As a kid, I used to think the Blacktron chests looked like Vader. Quote
