Solscud007 Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 (edited) The light bley plate and brick is sort of drawing my eye away from the kashyyk flying vehicle. Otherwise I like it. Ceroknight Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Fantastic pictures everyone! The light bley plate and brick is sort of drawing my eye away from the kashyyk flying vehicle. Otherwise I like it. I like the twisting trunks of the trees. Here is my Aurra Sing with the rifle she uses in Lego SWIII: CW I'm curious what you put on the tip... Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I'm curious what you put on the tip... It's a Technic pin with friction and a black screwdriver. Quote
Solscud007 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 It's a Technic pin with friction and a black screwdriver. Yep that is what I used. I actually had to trim the tip of the rifle to get the look from the video game. otherwise the technic friction pin will sit too far forward. Quote
Solscud007 Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Please forgive the slightly off topic pic. However I did use my Death Star playset for this picture so it could be considered Starwars related. "Get away from her you b!tch" (I will need to make one in lego eventually but I wanted to see how close I could get to recreating the lighting. I just need some dust or particulate to interfere with the back lighting. To make up for the Off topic picture here is Vader returning from a successful practice flight in his chibi Tie Advanced. I need a dewback and a sandy beach to try and mimic that shot. Quote
Darth Yogi Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Great photos everyone. Solscud007, I think you should put the chibi tie in the Star Wars Funnies topic . Great job Quote
Solscud007 Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 But I dont really have a funny story to go with it. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 I'm not the greatest fan of the effects on the second pic, but these are all great, Bane! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Excellent photo effects Linko! I must agree the last one is beautifully-done. @Bane: 'Love those clone shots. Quote
Masked Builder Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Wow guys! These shots are great! Keep them up. Quote
JimBee Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Nice ones, Linko. I also like the last one, but if there's an edit-free version of it, could you please post it? I'm assuming the original was taken during sunset and the colors weren't edited, am I right? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 NIce work, Linko, though I too would like to see unedited versions of those. Did you 'shop in the sky also in the first two? I think I see a hint of an outline around the 'figs. Quote
Linko Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 First, thank you very much for the comments. Nice ones, Linko. I also like the last one, but if there's an edit-free version of it, could you please post it? I'm assuming the original was taken during sunset and the colors weren't edited, am I right? I remember not touch the colors, but I applied "Auto Tone". The sky, unfortunately, is a photomontage. I use Photoshop CS5, and if you have any questions, just ask. NIce work, Linko, though I too would like to see unedited versions of those. Did you 'shop in the sky also in the first two? I think I see a hint of an outline around the 'figs. You're right, it is a photomontage. I did not want to be perfect, it was only a test. Today, I try to do some photos outside, to see what comes out. PS: I used "Auto Tone" in all photos of Tatooine. Bane Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 I'm not the greatest fan of the effects on the second pic, but these are all great, Bane! Thanks. I'm not very satisfied with the "Rappr"-pic, too. It was just a test. @Bane: 'Love those clone shots. Thanks Here's a new one: Clone Iroquois - Banestudios Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 PS: I used "Auto Tone" in all photos of Tatooine. Well I don't really consider color touch-ups Photoshopping anyways. I was just wondering about the sky. Nice job on your latest, Bane. Quote
commdr_neyo Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Great job on your pictures, everyone! Those 'shopped photo's are great too Quote
Masked Builder Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 A most interesting shot Bane! I'm likin' the colors on that one. Quote
