smokebelch Posted June 5, 2009 Author Posted June 5, 2009 At first I thought "What the h***, is he 'on' sugar " and then it struck me Great picture, hilarious sugarimages in my head... what could possibly go wrong? Thanks for continously sharing your work with us and thanks for inspiring others to do the same. Hehe one whole bag- that would be some sugar rush! Cheers Kim, thanks for letting me post it all up. Really glad others enjoy looking at my pics, and very cool to think i've inspired a few of you to take some shots of your own Quote
RoflWafls Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Whoo hoo!, the postie just delivered my Hoth set :D 10 minutes and one empty bag of sugar later... More shots to come no doubt ;) Wow, thats great! (Is it just me, or does the Taun Taun look like a squirrel?) Quote
smokebelch Posted June 5, 2009 Author Posted June 5, 2009 Wow, thats great! (Is it just me, or does the Taun Taun look like a squirrel?) Thats the EXACT same thing my wife said as i showed her the Tauntaun Quote
RoflWafls Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Thats the EXACT same thing my wife said as i showed her the Tauntaun Ha. Mayby Lego is trying out a new mold for their new theme, Super Squirrels! Quote
smokebelch Posted June 5, 2009 Author Posted June 5, 2009 Here's a couple more shots, the Rebel laser cannon i made ages ago just never got round to taking a shot. And the Tauntaun's horns give a nice 'Wampa'ish feel to the yeti Quote

I'd never think of adding the horns to it. (The dead snowtrooper is a great touch.) Great shots, I can't wait for more. Quote
Skipper 24 Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 (edited) Nice work with the Wampa and turret . Do you use real snow? Some nice trooper set ups too. EDIT: Ah Sugar, I see. Edited June 5, 2009 by Skipper 24 Quote
Commander_Rob Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Nice Snow Effect on these pictures, I`d probably get some problems if I emptied a whole bag of sugar to photograph some Lego. PS: @ KimT: I`ll probably resize my pictures when I upload some more, problem is automatic resizing takes some time to kick in. Quote
RileyC Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 haha i love the snowtrooper skeleton! I like the rebel laser cannon its really built awesomely! great work and photograhpy smokebelch!! Quote
smokebelch Posted June 6, 2009 Author Posted June 6, 2009 Cheers for the comments, Few more Hoth shots while i had a big pile of sugar just sitting there! Used my third Hoth rebel for a Hoth Luke, and used the old burnt up anakin head for a nice post Wampa attack effect Quote
Zuntir Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 Amazing pictures! and great use of Anakin's head. I can't wait to see more pictures from you. Quote
Aramor Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 Awesome. Although slightly creepy that that head matches so perfectly :P Quote
legoblockman Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 amazing pictures!! fantastic snow effect with the sugar! is that tomato ketchup for blood? Quote
smokebelch Posted June 6, 2009 Author Posted June 6, 2009 Cheers Was actually my wife's idea to use the anakin head, the face is a great match for luke- i guess its his dads so not too suprising! And yes good old ketchup for blood Quote
Commander_Rob Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 (edited) Just had to post a quick one with new set I bought today: Jettrooper chose a bit of a bad position to land. PS: Forgot to resize, sorry. Edited November 27, 2009 by Commander_Rob Quote
Skipper 24 Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 Nice picture Commander Rob although a plain white backing with no shadows may have looked better . Also next time instead of apologizing why don't you do something about your pics. Quote
Commander_Rob Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Will do Skipper 24, but with this one I noticed when I had already uploaded the huge high-res version to Brickshelf, so... Anyway I will try to remember next time. Quote
Future74 Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 (edited) I love this one Great work, keep it up Smokebelch... you seem to amaze me every time PS. note to myself: If I ever meet Smokebelch in person - DO NOT drink coffee with sugar, cause you never know where it's been. smokebelch Posted June 8, 2009 Author Posted June 8, 2009 (edited) Cheers Future74 PS. note to myself: If I ever meet Smokebelch in person - DO NOT drink coffee with sugar, cause you never know where it's been. A very wise move Got my Ithorian head through from Arealight today, very impressed such a nice custom! Being a OT fan decided to make a Momaw Nadon (though he'll forever be Hammerhead to me!), Did get a blue torso and pants for a vintage hammerhead action figure look... but looked a bit rubbish as its a plain torso. So used the Mace torso instead. Edited June 8, 2009 by smokebelch Quote

I thought you were an OT fan, not a fan of the prequel trilogy! (next time, aim your finger a little more to the left for those "tricky" O's, smokebelch ) Great pic though. Quote

Skipper 24 Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 A nice minifig pic smokebelch. That custom head really is something special and with the Mace torso to finish it off, what else could I have asked for.. Quote
RileyC Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 I love his head! It goes great with mace's torso. Great shot! Quote
smokebelch Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 (edited) "OK, one last time.
